Mmmmmm... caesar salad... er square... :D Is there anyway to get under the gate house? Or is there a can around here we can look under? Steve

Wow that is quite the bright and yellow mech. Steve

The voice of your brother's blood is crying out...
Athos replied to Athos's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Which is why I positioned Abel's arm so you can't see his face. He looks way to happy to be dead. Its also the same face I used for Deagol in this vignette. Its coming. I've actually got it pretty well planned out. But it won't be for a while. Still got a lot of stories before then. Steve -
Uh-oh. Can't let this slip to the second page until we solve the mystery! Though I imagine the large number of sticky posts helped to do it... Anyway, anybody want to refresh my memory on the first puzzle? I don't feel like searching through 10 pages for it... so sue me I'm lazy... I happen to know there isn't a cause of action for laziness... three years of law school... so there :P Steve

Part two in my newest vignette series: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Vi...ainandabel1.jpg The whole murderous gallery (including other Biblical vignettes): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=162415 I think I might force myself to go chronologically. So you should be able to guess who/what is up next... Steve

Now the serpent was more subtle than any other...
Athos replied to Athos's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Probably correct, but I thought the vignette needed more life in it, and there wasn't anywhere else to put it... Steve P.S. Check out my new avatar that goes with my vignette <------------------ :o -
I've begun work on yet another vignette series. Think of it as the Reader's Digest condensed version of B.P. Smith's Brick Testament: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Vi...le/thefall1.jpg The whole tempting gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=162415 Steve

Got any suggestions for a great moment in history that involved Quebec? I can't think of any... Steve

I'm not sure I understand what is meant by Elizabeth's footer? Is that some sort of furniture, like a footlocker? Or does it refer to something at the foot of the letter? I think we should speak with the hotel staff and see if they can give us Spindle's B-day, and then head over to the residence and get the dining room chair number. Steve

Brickshelf Adventurers MOC (brickshelf)
Athos replied to gylman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Click on the creations link on the lefthand menu bar. She's got some other really good MOCs. Steve, foremost posted on adventurers.dk :D -

I'm curious what an Adventurers RP would involve? My interest is piqued, but I don't have the time or the energy to get too involved in something. But I would like to support Adventurers fans and help drum up the interest and enthusiasm that might prompt Lego to make a 5th line. Also maybe you could see if Kecia would let you do it at adventurers.dk. That way we could get all the adventurers stuff centrally located (I'm not a big fan of the fragmentation of the community (beyond specific subtheme sites) and everyone starting their own sites. Its too hard to keep up with it all, already.) Steve

I'd like to make a survey of the island so we know what we're dealing with here. I don't feel like just randomly wandering around stumbling haphazardly onto clues. If we could get an idea of the various locations on the island, I think we could make a more efficient stab at the mystery. If you all don't go for that, I say we look into finding Elizabeth's footer. Faye, do you know anything about an Elizabeth? How about Spindle's birthday? Steve

B-V-15C "Should old acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind; Should old acquaintance be forgot, And days of old lang syne. We two have run about the hills, And pulled the daisies fine. We've wandered many a weary foot, Since old lang syne. We two have paddled in the burn, From morning sun till dine, But seas between us broad have roared, Since old lang syne. And here's a hand my trusty friend, And put your hand in mine. We'll take a right good willie-waught, For old lang syne. And surely you'll lift up your glass, For surely I'll lift mine, And we'll drink a cup of kindness yet, For old lang syne. For old lang syne, my dear, For old lang syne, We'll take a cup of kindness yet, For old lang syne." http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Vi...ay/newyear1.jpg The whole Gregorian gallery, with other holiday vignettes: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=146421 Happy New Years! As of now, the new star wars sets, and maybe some KK2v3 sets, if they catch my eye. Steve

Funny I think the nightmares of JINZONINGEN 73 sleeping with no pants are much scarier than any I've had about my little dolls... I mean nutcrackers... :D Steve

I wonder if the E from Gate should be on house, and then we can rearrange the other letters: GATCAN Steve

Well since it was Christmastime, which means we drag out our Christmas decorations, I was able to take a picture of my collection. So now I can show off my other hobby (besides Lego): http://maj.com/gallery/Athos/Nutcrackers/c...ion12-25-05.jpg Here are individual pictures of the ones I have: http://maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=101318 Steve

I wonder if we need to rearrange the combinations of letters to form a clue? Steve

Blast! I was afraid that might happen. Steve

Here's what I got. The first Lego I've gotten for Christmas for several years: Steve

I think you've got your spacing off and only goofed with one letter/number. I think it should read: A LOCK ON THE SHIP CAN BE OPENED WITH THESE NUMBER and then Numbers have second meanings And if someone else can provide the numbers corresponding to these, we can probably break the code pretty easily: Above Spindle
