The small balista-like catapult set looks aces to me. I think that the new chateaux looks aces aswell. It is the best castle since 1988, and that says a lot. I spit on those ninetees castles like the Montain refuge!

Although they are a available on shop@home. The new 2007 catalog has no mention of them, Castle however is announced. And the new garbage truck and cement mixer will be 17 euros.

Since I saw the Castle 2007 pictures I've been on a castle trip. And I wanted to buy the smallest viking set (no way I'm buying KK2 sets). It took me seven shops to find the "Viking vs fenrir" set , some shops did have other viking sets but not an awfull lot. Now you might say that it's because stock han't been refilled after the hollidays. But as most shops already have a full range of new products and refilled their Star wars and City stock, I wonder why I can't find any of the viking sets anywhere?

I to dislike the scale an awfull lot. Like the doctors car in the city line is bigger then most trucks in town scale. Also the city scale seems very inconsistent to me. For example: compare the fire captain jeep to the doctors car. Only the train line seems to respect the old scale: both the station and the worktrain (including cars look alot like those of the past). I don't understand why people complain about the size of the station, it looks great to me! The femalephobia is also worrying, how do LEGO expect to win the harts of little girls for their toys? Boy-only toy? And loosing 50% of the market?

Yes, however that still doesn't explain why they made the 9v system so "simple".So the reason you gave us will probably be also true to a certain extend. The one thing that sucks about 12v is the cleaning of it all. The middle rails are really dust sensitive. I'm thinking about making a cleaning wagong that will be pulled by an RC locomotive :) Nope the scale is perfect to fit my small town. I do have to add some females *yoda*

The reason 12v was abandoned is because they wanted trains for the USA and in the USA current on toys can only be as high as 9v.

I got a building bonanza, the docter's car, the fireman jeep, the streetsweeper (which is being returned at the moment since I already got it). A travelbook for japan, a be@rbrick, the pet shop boys catalgue, shadowplayers (docu about factory records), some underpants and some socks.

I wonder why they never have room for maxifigs anymore, these days. And Is pneumatic back or are those yellow parts something else?
