Kewl. I thought these heads were only for the upcoming Lego minifig packs but looks like they are using them in the new Lego games too. Here in the US we are finally getting the new Lego games officially in the first weeks of March. I think the Legolands and other special Lego stores have them but not all the regular Lego stores in the U.S. At least not the 3 in the Boston, MA area here. It's marked on the Lego events calendar Seems like the special Lego shops in the U.S. get new stuff a little after the UK/Europe. I've never seen any Lego games. I'm going to buy a few, they have a deal on the week they come out.

You have full permission to wack mine! Though my fig is more rare and most may not have it. I think I'm going to make a human one. I'll be a werewolf by full moon nights and a pirate by day. Feel free to use your imagination on that one for the time being. Lego Studios 1380 Werewolf Ambush

I don't know how true this is but I read that this is the new standard over the classic smiley face. I don't know if they are taking the old one away or not but this is a new smiley face I heard. Also for anyone wanting, I can use a sharpie to draw a pocket on your pants or your minifig's pants free of charge! Then you too can be as kool as max.

This thing is incredible! I've been trying to figure out how the street is made. Is the street parts just tile plates? I don't remember Lego selling just a street plate without being on a square or rectangular base plate. It would be kool if they sold street pieces like train tracks.

I have those same cargo pants That's a nice bag by the way. What ship is that? ACCURATEin Looks like he's having an ice cream pop here while being guarded by security What a celebrity! That dude on the right is like, <cue Arnold S voice> "I'll buff you up!" Hahaha I remember who he is now. He's like the Lego mascot character.

I've been wondering for a couple weeks since I got the flier, who this max character is? I always try to take advantage of the deals and the flier said that if I spend at least $35 on March 4th or 5th, that I get " a FREE Max Key Chain." March 2nd I'm going to bring my niece to make a free Shamrock. I thought that was really nice of the Lego company to put on the calendar. I really like and believe in the Lego company. They do a lot of these great fun things and you can get good discounts if you follow the calendar and use your Lego VIP card points. I would scan it but it is almost 3am here in the US and it would make too much noise. So I took a picture with my digital camera. If anyone wants I can scan it tomorrow. About the hair, I htink a couple of the new small city sets have minifigures with that hair because I read the reviews today on the City Traveller 7567 set and the person sad the hair was new. I don't know if it was in Harry Potter or not but people mentioned it was unique and rare. Also this set too, Small Car 3177

This was very good. I read your first thread before it was moved. I was suprised to read you say that it was your first Lego Brickfilm? You did the camera angles movement good. That's usually a little more advance stopmotion stuff. The voices were great. Left you a comment and rated. TheFutureLooksGrimm is me. I used to invest in gold myself. I recently sold my silver and gold bullion rounds in December when they were at a high because I had a feeling after Christmas they would go down and I am saving up to buy a motorcycle. I used to buy Northwest Territorial rounds.

We just finished our Medieval Market Village today. ^Yesterday we finally got our free Pick-a-brick box filled. ^We also bought Pirate Set 6241 and a small set 6192 for the Pirate minifig. I was disappointing that at the Lego store they no longer had Pirates at the build-a-fig I really wanted to get a bunch of the Pirate hats with the skull & cross bones (Jolly Roger) because our Captain Brickbeard on the imperial flagship came with a regularly black captain's pirate hat with no skull.

Very nice and goes good with your other buildings too but what's with those 2 men outside with the guilty look on their faces? Is the woman going to be okay? I dunno I don't trust those guys. Me and my niece went to the Lego store. We finally remembered to bring our free pick-a-brick box and we got 2 Pirate Sets that we will build and then use to make my 16x16 house. http://twitpic.com/14gd3a I still don't think we have enough pieces so I'll prob do a bricklink order. I have a design in the Lego program.

REFERENCE Dusting Lego displays and layouts
Grimmy replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Have you thought about buying an air filter? Dust can be a number of things like dirt, lint, hair, and dead skin cells. But in homes it is often mostly dead skin cells. Skin that has shed. The human body shes monthly, something like every 28 days. If you spend a lot of time in a room like I do in mine, you probably have a ton of dust. I know I do and it's a pain to keep dusting. Have you ever been in an office building with great ventillation and you can always hear the air conditioner working? Have you noticed how the air is a lot cleaner then your house and there is not much dust settling anywhere? Well that's because of their air conditioning and filter system. I was researching air filter systems a while back and I've been meaning to get one. If you get one, MAKE SURE YOU RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH before you buy! Don't buy any of those awful infomercial ones with scam gimmicks showing how they work. Don't buy the ion ones either that have no fan. Those are bad gimmicks that don't work well. Look for a nice multistage air filter. Read reviews too. I'm going to have to start looking again. I definitely need one especially since I have allergies. -
Ooo very nice! Which one is Noodle? Is that her behind the bar? I'm still waiting to put mine in. I'll be putting it in a little later about just before deadline because I'm buying sets with pieces that I can use to make it with and get inspired. Me and my niece are building the Medieval Market Village which is giving me a good idea how to build a 16x16 house.

That is such a cute build! I thought it was a set at first and thought I was definitely going to buy it for my niece. She would love it! Very neat moc. :)

Yes thank you! It was a Lego Quatro tub with red top. I did a search. Funny enough, my niece started out with us building using my Jenga game blocks. Then as a gift she coincidentally got 2 tubs of Quatro Legos, one tub from my mother and another from a relative. I tried to get her to play with regular Legos early on because I didn't want to go through the Duplo stage. But she had much trouble with them. She was too little at the time and had trouble putting them together and taking them apart. She also didn't get into them much because they were so small and to build anything big would take a ton of Legos which we didn't have. But now she is 6 and got into regular Legos. :)

lol my favorite pic of them all is Mr. Wiskers in his apartment looking outside making sure everything is running smoothly. So many details and character in this build. Mr. Wiskers should be very proud to have such a nice apartment, It is great inspiration to kitty cats everywhere!

Thanks for posting that set Macoco! It solved a mystery I've had for some time now! During my "Dark Ages" I had bought a couple of small Lego set and I always wondered where this girl on the bike with the kitty sitting on the back, came from. As well as the Pizza and these other minifigs. Now I know. That was long ago! I wonder where the Pizza went lol. I still have the girl minifig, she's very plain looking but my niece loves the little kitty that sits on the back of the bike stud. I checked Bricklink saw what people meant about the torso being used in many sets. But with the tan ponytail it comes together making a cute girl minifig my niece will like. The torso is featured in one of the minifigs in the 10196 Grand Carousel. A girl with a black ponytail and red pants. I only recently got back into Lego sets, at the end of last year. Me and my 6yrs old niece would play with the huge Legos before that and some Portuguese Legos. (BTW Anyone know what the huge Legos are called? They are bigger then Duplo and even the tubs have stackable studs on the lid you can build on or stack the tub on another tub. We had 2 tubs.)

Hey what are those minifigs doing?? Are they helping a poor bear get re-stuffed? Looks like a bear had an accident! Well he'll get by with a little help from his friends. I was too late to see the pictures before they were taken off but I did some Google searching and even though a lot of the sites have removed them, I did find one with the pics still there. Someone must have been working for a few hours contacting all those sites to ask them to remove them. Lego fans...always digging in those websites not yet finished and finding the pictures. lol Anyway, the toy train look doesn't appeal to me. I've always wanted a Lego train but I think it's weird how these new ones don't have the engine pulling the cars. The motor is in the middle of the trains or something. But I don't like the Toy Story 3 train anyway. I'm surprised at myself as I love the new Toy Story sets. Just not the Toy Story 3 ones. The Trash Compactor Escape doesn't look appealing. Not much it can do. The yellow dumb truck is good but for 4 year olds maybe. I don't think these new Toy Story 3 sets are anywhere as good as the others.

That is really kool looking. I like how you made the tools and the vice especially. Seems like people can make anything with Legos these days lol. I think he is fixing an big robot arm in for repairs. Perhaps the Tomb Raiders practice fighting robot. I think it's tech meets magic because the nice book is there. Perhaps after he finished working on the robot he casts a magical spell to make it come to intelligence life. Reminds me of my favorite RPF "Arcanum" where it's a steampunk world of tech meets magic.

I just bought this set for the girl in it. I thought she looked cute and that my niece would like her but many people here are saying they don't like her because of her shirt. It looks like a white shirt with flowers. But I think some mentioned silver? Pretty for a girl character I thought. I haven't opened the box yet. I didn't know that the torso was common. What other sets is it in? It's funny, I looked at the box cover a number of times trying to figure out what exactly was going on. I'm glad Izzy was able to decipher it. I think it's strange that the delivery man is carrying a mug though. And he's walking up to her mad as if he is going to hand her the mug. I'm confuzzled. Then again I'm usually confused by Lego sets. Like the Midevil Market Village, why does the instructions tell you to put a gold coin piece in the barrel that holds up the table. It's a barrel table. No one will ever find or notice a gold coin in it. Is it a secret hiding place? And how about the Dwarves Mines, the bucket rail that goes from the front to the back of the mine isn't very practical and doesn't seem like the best position for working.

I found another video in case anyone is withdrawing and needs more Grand Emporium views to get their fix.

I love the pictures. In the future I would like to get all the buildings and put them on a shelf like that. It sounds like many people are doing: 1. Build Set ....a. Keep on display for a little while or leave built, play with. Then store away together so nothing gets mixed with other sets. ....b. Take apart and mix into the Lego tub. Seems a little bit like a waste though to leave a Lego set packed aside. Then again since the value goes up so high after the set is discontinued I guess it's a good investment. You all helped me decide, I packed the Winter Toy Shop away (with the advent calender) in a good box. The Dwarves Mine, I think I'm going to mix the pieces into the Lego tubs. I really like it but can use the pieces and have no room. I love the figures! Dwarfs and Trolls are awesome! Agents sets I'm going to mix into the Lego tub. The figures are great and the vehicles are nice but not my favorite themes. The Troll Warship, undecided what to do. Might take apart and make my own ship. Now...The Imperial Flagship! I LOVE SEEING IT DISPLAYED! Heck I love holding it lol the top of the sails hit the ceiling when I hold it to my eye level. That thing is awesome! I wish we had it on Christmas. People were surprisingly interested in the Winter Toy Shop, Advent Calender, and wowed at the Troll Warship but they would be AMAZED at the Imperial Flagship! I think people remember Legos as being smaller sets. The only time as a child that I saw something big and amazing was once in a long while when some new Toy Store opening had some big custom Lego creations to draw people in. Having something like the Imperial Flagship makes me feel like I have something special. Similar to I bet what it would be like to own a big building like the corner cafe which I will get. How many people as a child built a building like that? I've always wanted to open my own cafe so I think I might get that one first. I will open a Lego one. Some Photos ^My art table has been taken over by Legos instead of clay lol. ^My niece's room. Room is very clean EXCEPT for this one section. She stays over on the weekends so we won't be finishing the MM until next weekend. ^ ...and along the floor you can spot Lego cars like in this pic.

That was a great video! I left you some comments using my YouTube account. I'm jealous that your Lego store has it. We don't have it in the U.S. yet. I don't have any of these big buildings yet but I definitely want one. I will get one someday.

What a cool slick racing car! The minifig looks at home in it. I like his gritty fast dangerous look and expression. :grinn:

Wait so no more Dwarves and Trolls? I was so happy that they now had Lego fantasy creatures and not just boring humans. Now they are going back to just humans? I see some people like just humans but I think that would be a big mistake to get rid of the fantasy. Especially with the Hobit movie coming and other fantasy media. Just humans...I really doubt that they will do as well as fanasy creatures.

Those Castles are so nice and I especially love the new jester. It comes in a nice small box. I bet that little guy will sell a ton and get sold out. He looks alive! He looks so happy and care free, he surely is doing a good job making the king and peasants laugh. He looks as if he's going to come alive. I like the wizard too even though he looks similar to past castle wizards, this gives me a chance to get one
