    I would try using the a nxt motor connected to a pulley on each side (four in total),this should have plenty of power to lift the bins of parts.

    Welcome to Eurobricks TheItalianBrick,when assembling the three small gears inside the differentials in LDD it is best to rotate the middle gear and not the two at ether side as this can be a nuisance later on.

    I think they put the flowers that way to add more 'height' to the image. I don't think it matters which way they go,and is up to the builder to decide on which side up they are.

    That is a interesting way to make a bridge layer. It works but is only suitable for off-roaders.
