Hello a ton of bricks, Trans blue is in LDD however trans black is not,if you can not see trans blue i suggest you try ldd extended mode. Heres a link to the forum tobic to unlock extended mode. -

If you put string on the back bottom of the last section,this goes underneath the whole boomand tied to a bush with a axle though it.then another bit of string is tied to the back bottom of the last section but this bit goes though the inside of the boom and then is tied to a bush and a axle.No gears needed.
