Yes apart from it not returning to the center,that particular puts a lot of strain on the motor,my design athough it puts strain on the motor puts less that design,but thinks for having a go anyway.

Welcome to the forum, you will only get better if you build. Keep it simple to start and gradually make the next creation it more complex in some way

I have came up with a idea. It seams to easy to be true,here you go.

I think your u-joints are too tight which are making the clicking nosie,i would like to see the whole thing rotate. I am sorry i can't understand a word you are saying. (just kidding)

Is it well braced to prevent the gear slippage ? (gearing and motor) A worm gear is a good idea if this does not work.

Your's is very good, is that a hockey piece i am seeing (orange) i do not have any of those,those ones Milan posted above are good,thay do the job but i don't like the amount of strain it puts onto the pf motors.Athough mine does put strain on the motor it is not as great as the ones posted by Milan.
