Weird aliens *alien* and wierd alien ships. The more unusual the better. The 2007 martains and vehicles are almost exactly the sort of thing I like to see. The aliens themselves are a good concept but they needed to have poseble arms and heads.

How to use the Pirate LEGO Avatar and Signature Workshop

If you believe poeple will be interested in them, then sure. I just was having fun making some icons :) -
SET REVIEW: 1733 & 1713 Shipwrecked Pirate
ghoulrealm replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
2 of 5 I always thought the yellow cylinders represent dried bamboo. In wich case makes me bit less objectionable to the color scheme. I'm somewhat certain I bought this set, though the limited memorability relates to its unremarkability. It was likely inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. -
The icons I supplied are for your signature only, and you add that for yourself. It appears it is an acceptable alternative.

How to use the Pirate LEGO Avatar and Signature Workshop
ghoulrealm replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm still waiting on a response as to wether I should even be pursuing this, but I've started making tags of some of my more favorite lines for my signature. I will just throw 'em out here and we can use them or not. It seems it's ok to have them in your signature only. That's what I gather from all the topics on the subject anyway? -
5 of 5! This was the set that really hooked me into the pirates line. I couldn't afford many larger sets than this at the time. The base plate alone is great because it has a natural asymetrical design unlike the larger flat island baseplate. The parrot and monkey are always a plus. I also love the half barrel part wich doubles as a crows nest. I don't remember if the U.S. release had a spring triggered cannon or not, but I think it was, and that's huge point in it's favor. I still cherish the parts of this set esp. that islet baseplate.

I'm still not sure about these tags. I can see where it might get out of hand, because I know I did with making some...... see I don't have any mars mission 1 or 2 yet
-
I was going to ask for one, but I decided to make signature tags if that's alright with the powers that be? Long ago I was stripped of my pirate rank so I had to resort to a little image piracy(i used a mod's icon for my jollyroger flag) to regain some of my former glory :-D I also did a western one in addition to the ones displayed in my sig.

I don't think they're telling us the whole story. They are probably sneeking off to some secret party. ;-) Or they are like the LEGO Freemasons or something. It's a conspiracy, I tell you! :-D ..... I'm looking through their mocs now for hidden clues of what's really going on here. This one looks promising. "buried deep in a secret shaft of a lost mine" hmm... interesting if not subtle. I'm on to you now!

The white torso with the dark vest is an awesome choice for a pirate/sailor shirt. *y* What set did that come from? I'll have to get one of those. I can't tell what the blue torso is? ____________________ When your'e exposed to the many experienced mocist's astounding creations, this ship may not be much competition. To truley judge the moc we would need to know factors such as your LEGO inventory and how long youv'e been mocing. In any case, when you work with a limited collection it forces you to design some fairly innovative solutions. At the very least your enthusiasm is commendable.

This is an excelent moc. One of the best land based pirate/imperial mocs if not the best. The brick wall and tile roof are the highlights. The rock arch is a relatively simple but great addition. *y* My only negative critique would be to replace the cannons with official lego cannons if you had a choice. That being said, I didn't really notice until closer examination. Watch out! There is a starfish on the wall. It's gonna get you. X-D

Do you smell like brimstone now? X-D I find the geologic history of the park fascinating. As well as the geographic beauty of the blue spring waters margined by the multicolored bacteria and even the boiling mud springs have their appeal. When I visited, I believe the highlight was the mammoth hotsprings terraces.

I'll see you upon your return, matey.

The situation is remedied! Flying Duthman images back up. "Perfect" you humble me, sir :-$ It's not even half way finished. _________ The Fire Ball is (or rather was) a nice little ship. A good color scheme and I often fancy these smaller designs just as much as larger vessels. Tis a shame you have to salvage parts rather than having a variety of ships :'-(

Here is my girl. She was a rescue from the grooming shop where I use to work. Her name is Silhouette and she is a Chihuahua/minpin mix. She is at my side every second and even goes to work with me *y* She is afraid of the LEGO clicking sounds and esp. the shooting parts :-D. She is so spoiled she probably thinks I'm her pet. X-D (but she might be right 8-

That is quite exceptional for a freehand paint job. *y* Now paint another arm with a mobile emitter so you can leave sickbay, ;-)

More precisely a fundraising stunt. That's the impression I get anyway. Exactly! As much as I appreciate the FREE sevice they provide, I always backup my images and finds. The loss of convenience of a communal archive would be a shame, just don't be so dependent one hosting site or expect this sort of thing to happen when you sign up in the first place. As for paying for such a service, you can count me out. Sorry, but I'm already paying an ISP and that's it for me. Plenty of free image hosting alternatives still exist.

Do they have to be intelligent species? I like the opee sea killer best. My favorite humanoid race is Mon Calamari. I even like the look of the Gungans more than most species. It probably has something to do with their aquatic natures.

:skel1: How could I not like a ship with skeletons all over it ;-)

I don't know if this particular piece topic has been resolved elsewhere, but it was in a 8925 barraki deepsea patrol at my local Walmart. The piece is all technic. a center pin slot and the three radial axle pins. Sorry oo7 :-(

Toys R Us lets me bring my dog in the store. That is very important to me. Since Lego is the same price reguardless, I'll go where my dog can follow. My dog is a small breed and I carry her. I doubt even Toys R Us will let folks bring large breeds in with them. I like Target stores far more than Walmart as well. Target carries several better products IMO, but they are not open 24 hours :-(

I want to see more of the sterncastle and aft. Even though it is notoriously hard to make out I love the color scheme of mostly black.
-
It definately looks like a beetle-frog. The entire design is well executed, and the dino arms accentuate an organic feel to the creature. It makes me wish I had more dino arms. The minifig should feel honored to be devoured by such an exceptional creature. :-P
-
I love carracks *wub* The sterncastle is angled just a tad bit extreme for me, though it does look excelent as a cartoon stylized design. I will have to study your techniques on this and perhaps design something with a less intense angle.

I don't check my email all that often, but was pleasently surprised to receive the newsletters. I don't have any suggestions at this time. I just wanted to give a thumbs up *y* for your efforts on the endeavor.
