Master Janek gave me one of his refreshing tonics, so I am good to go and give those Croise something to think about before attacking a peaceful town like this again!" OOC: I suppose Capt.John was only trying to save some time, even tough Thalion could have said no, and not buy that nostrum. But I think he knew what the answer would be, and simply skipped a step of our char. formal exchange. Note to QM: Janek should have one potion in his inventory (Dreyrugrs'), this is only a reminder so that later I don't make a mistake with his actions. You don't have to re-post with all those little changes edited.

    Thalion looked at Nessa, and turned to Amma, "I know what you are concerned about. She is still too young to understand and accept grief and pain. If she can direct those outbursts towards the enemy it could be very good for us. If not, we could see what is it, and maybe even help her after the battle is over. But right now I need all of you to concentrate on the Croise, and give them all you've got." Thalion gave Dreyrugr a stern look, "I didn't think about taking that strange drink because I like it, but because I thought I can help everyone finish the battle sooner. You can be a little more collegial, but what you say is not unreasonable." Thalion gives Dreyrugr 35 gold. Janek uses a Tonic on Thalion. Thalion turns to Nessa and Amma, "There. I hope you both feel good and a bit more inspired from words in this scroll." He hands the scroll back to Amma and says with a smile, "Hopefully after this, YOU will be able to inspire the rest of US." Thalion looked around, and seeing everyone ready said, "Lets go. Quel marth!" Quel marth - good luck

    Doubles the current and maximum health of target, as far as I remember. 10 ether, 50/50 chance - I was right, just checked. There is a ruling of it in Sandy's last post in the "Grogmas Gifts" topic.

    Of course we will wait for Vash about the nostrum. Thalion uses a scroll on Nessa. After that, Janek uses a Tonic on Thalion, Thalion drinks his Tonic and uses a Scroll on Amma.

    Thalion turns to Amma, "Mistress Amma, might I have a look at that scroll of yours?" Janek uses a potion on Thalion. Since I mistakenly took encouraged Chevaliers power as is (and is should be doubled), the recent clearing changes plans somewhat. It might not be a bad idea for Thalion to use Nostrum.     OOC: We are still discussing "Encouraged" and power concerns which, depending on the answer, might change BO and actions completely, so until we are certain what is what, please don't post that your characters are ready.

    OOC: Yes, I did think about that. He doesn't need the mead since his damage output if really good as it is. Hastening him is also not a good option, since he could get killed as well as give great damage and that is a risk I am not willing to take. Being lucky is a good call, but I wont ask Dreyrugr for something he bought and might want to use himself later (unlike amethyst) and even using that is not a guarantee he will get shields (tough it does improve chances), and it certainly doesn't improve chances from 1/6 to 1/3 - for that to happen, a lot more things would have to change. Note to QM: Why is Dreyrugr lucky and has a Nostrum missing? I dont remember seeing that he used it, or did I miss something? Janek should have 2 potions in his inventory (Nessa's and Drey's), and also, should not Alexander's power be doubled - 26, and bow envenomed?

    I am not a big Technic fan, but Mindstorm (and power function's abilities and potential) are something that really intrigued me and I did give it some thought, but decided not to get only because of its price. If it were lower, I believe one would have, somehow, find its way into my collection, but for now it will have to wait.

    Thanks Capt.JohnPaul, hopefully luck will serve us and we get some better dice rolls then the ones so far (yes I am thinking about Thalions many misses so far) Just dont tell me this is our last battle!? Thalion is so close to level 15. Just a few.....more.....levels..... All true, but don't forget that after each turn, a new enemy appears. I know Clerics are essential in every party (at least in all the RPGs I play), but this time we really NEED one... Come on good dice rolls!

    Thalion comes back and gives the report to the party. "All right this is what we are looking at: (see the post above for enemy stats). And that is not all; seems like more enemies are going to come to their aid so we must defeat them as quickly as possible. Seeing how we don't have a cleric, I propose that Janek be a substitute. To that end, Dreyrugr, Nessa, would you mind giving one your potions (each) to Janek so he could heal us should the need arises? As for the enemies, this is what I propose we do: Alexander - CC-A, back row Dreyrugr - DC-A, front row Amma - CC-C, ice, back row Nessa - CC-B, back row Thalion - CC-D, darkness, back row Janek- DC-B, wind back row If you wish to use your consumables, poison your weapons or trade something now would be the time. Oh, that reminds me; Dreyrugr, can you keep these for me for the duration of the battle?" Thalion gives his Ruby and Opal. "I will try to concentrate on the dark energies of the amethyst alone."

    Thalion gestured to the party to gather around, "Wait here with the captain, while I take a look at what the Croise are about to send our way. I will be back shortly." Thalion uses Cloak of Espionage to inspect the enemies they are about to face.

    Seeing Alexander shooting frantically at the last Croise, Thalion puts his hand on Alexander's shoulder, "Be at ease my friend and save your arrows. I am sure there will be more chance for you to shoot the Croise. Here, take a sip of this!" Thalion hands Alexander a Mead. He hears Nessa's question, turns and shrugs, "I cant say Nessa. I agree, we probably don't have time to rest, but perhaps you will be better off saving your potion for the time being. They are scarce right now. In preparation, here, take this." He hands her a Fire Bomb. He tosses a Grand Potion to Dreyrugr, Tonic to Janek, 12 gold to Amma, and puts 13 gold in his satchel. He then looks at the party, "Are we ready to continue?"
