No it won't because I've answered the question regarding the ads and there's really nothing much more to be added. Topic closed!

That doesn't bother me at all. It looks great, so why would it matter if the tip of the spear is a bit flexible? No really, I don't notice any quality issues at all with this fig. I tell you, it's perfect, including the spear

Fans have been scream for a classic-theme (Greek, Roman, Egypt, etc.) for a very long time and now those prayers have been at least partially answered with the release of the fantastic Greek hoplite minifig. There are arguments for calling this fig a Spartan or an Athenian hoplite, but who cares because the fig is fantastic in so many ways. Let's summarize: 1/ Amazing helmet 2/ A new spear in 2 colors 3/ A new round shield 4/ A dark red cape 5/ Leather armor looking torso 6/ Printed legs You'll find more details in KimT's fine review. These are 6 good reasons to build a little army with these figs and see how it looks. I once was an "army builder" and it seems some of that is still in my blood. Today I'm presenting SPARTA leaving their barracks and going on the move to kick some megablocks This is SPARTA... Note: no boxes of the collectible minifigs where raided to build this army!!

First of all, no religious discussions please! I do agree it's unfortunate there seem to be ads displayed with religious content, but most of the time the ads shown on EB should be more oriented towards the content of our site, so I assume it's more an exception. The system works in a way that Google decides which ads are displayed but they do learn about our site content and try to make the ads as targeted as possible.

Sir Dillion has been sent off to the front lines
Bonaparte replied to Siegfried's topic in Forum Information and Help
I hope you'll still have time to stop by once in a while and enjoy some good old Eurobricks fun. All the best Sir Dillon, it's been an honor to work with you as part of the staff! -
Hello Kostas, welcome at Eurobricks! Being from Greece, what do you think about the new 'Spartan' minifig that's part of the collectible series 2?

Amazing it is indeed. It's looking great overall with a huge amount of detail. Maybe we could invite the builder to join us at Train Tech.

My Pirates collection (and naming ships)
Bonaparte replied to Southwest Chief's topic in LEGO Pirates
You have a very impressive collection of classic pirate sets! I wished I had that many of them when I was young; most of them I got long after the original pirate line was stopped. -
Those dates work perfect for me. I'm already looking forward to it

Let's celebrate our Reviewers Academy 2nd Anniversary!
Bonaparte replied to WhiteFang's topic in Forum Information and Help
It's hard to grasp it's already 2 years ago the academy was started. Thanks to all the teachers who worked so very hard over these past 2 years to keep this project going. It has for sure had a very positive influence on Eurobricks in many ways and I know for a fact that several LEGO set designers are reading the reviews -
Welcome on board! And sure, you are allowed to say megablocks. We mostly use it as a curse word, like: "What the megablocks is this?"

Just wondering, how many of these fantastic Spartans do you plan to collect? Personally I think it's one of the best figs LEGO released in a very long time.

This is a new feature that came with upgrade. Till now we have restricted the feature to staff and fellows because we don't want the creation of "private forums" with only limited groups of people. We might re-evaluate this in the future and open the feature to more groups, but this is not yet decided.

Those sails are Captain Green Hair's old curtains which he has put in a bath of coffee and thee for getting the right color. We used them for our Spanish Imperial Galleon and the left overs I saved for this ship.

Survey: New parts and new colors Together with my fellow ambassador CopMike I'm running this survey to find out which new parts and/or new colors you would like LEGO to produce. We guarantee your feedback will be delivered to LEGO via our various channels, so here's your chance to be heard! Only make one post in this thread per member. If needed you can later edit your post and add more part requests and/or color requests. To make our lives easy, please use this structure to present your idea's: Part 1: - Part name: - Part description: --> use any means you think necessary to explain us what you have in mind like drawings, pictures from the Internet, words, etc. If we don't clearly understand what you mean we can't present your suggested part to LEGO, so do your best! - Part usage: --> explain why you believe LEGO should produce this part. Why is it important to you and potentially others? Part x: --> you can repeat the process for additional parts ########################################## Color 1: - Code Name: - Color code: --> we prefer an html color code (example: #00FF80) or any other format we can work with - Color sample: --> please use a graphics program to post a small sample picture of the suggested color (size of the sample: 200px x 100px) - Color usage: --> explain why you believe LEGO should introduce this new color. Why is it important to you and potentially others? Color x: --> you can repeat the process for additional colors The floor is now yours

Congratulations to all the winners and a big thanks to Superkalle for doing a perfect job hosting this LDD competition. I feel that LDD has really found a good home here on Eurobricks and all these awesome contest entries show the popularity of LDD is rising fast. I'd be very interesting in such a guide to understand you created your masterpiece. To be honest, before I didn't think such a big and detailed building like your entry was even possible with LDD.

This is my favorite fig in the series 2 box. I'll for sure get around 10 of these. Thanks for this comprehensive overview of the fig Kim!

Impressive Z! This is one hell of a project you are working on.

This is such a crap post, no capitalization, punctuation, etc... . We're trying to run this board according to some decent standards targeting mature and adult people. This post feels like a slap in the face Talk in private we shall!
