  1. Voting for the first round of the Second Annual Redcoats vs. Bluecoats Tournament of Retribution is now open. The top 5 vote getters from each side (Redcoat and Bluecoat) will advance to the final "Prize" round of the Tournament. Go here to vote!
  2. Hey Jeff, welcome at Eurobricks! Sorry to hear you sold your collection when you were younger. I'm one those people trying to buy collections from kids who don't want them anymore, so I can tell you it feels good to be on the other side of this.
  3. Yup, I own both and they are perfect when put together in one setup. Btw, these 2 are really my favorite pirate sets of all time. Wonderful sets
  4. It's only there temporary until everyone learns to post with proper punctuation and capitalization Once the announcement is gone that line will disappear automatically.
  5. Welcome Dan! As of recent I'm also into trains, so good to hear that's one of your favorite themes.
  6. There's a minimum ago of 18 on Eurobricks. We are willing to enforce this in a flexible way, but if you bluntly state you are only 13 you leave me no choice. Locked!
  7. Banned for being underaged (11 years).
  8. We need to have a talk. This is not a chatboard
  9. Thanks for posting Captain K! This is an amazing ship and must have take quite some time to construct. Do you know the builder (Big Boy)? If so, could you invite him over so he can give some background info about the build?
  10. Amazing This is one of the best (or the best) frigates I've seen. And you even managed to give it an interior I agree with the nitpick remark of Captain Green Blue Hair, but for the rest it's perfect! Even when still WIP, this is worth the Eurobricks frontpage.
  11. You are looking at the deck of the French frigate Achille by our member Perfectionist. While still under construction, it is worth taking a look at these work in progress pictures. This is one of the best prefab hull ships ever being constructed, and it even has an interior!
  12. Posted on request of the LEGO Community team: Bonaparte
  13. That's a mighty collection you have! Are you planning to build some ships of your own? I also started collecting several of the official ships, but soon I started modifying them and later took them all apart for their pieces so I could make some MOC ships.
  14. As far as I remember the press release only mentioned the availability date.
  15. Well, actually I like to see old topics revived, as long as the 'reviver' adds some meaningful comments. I admit "Excellent MOC!" is on the edge. But in any case, please don't "mini-mod" and use the REPORT button if you feel the need to alert something to the staff.
  16. Welcome at Eurobricks! I agree that Fort Legoredo is a truly amazing set. It's the dream of any kid who wants to play with LEGO.
  17. Well, we want our theme forums to be the backbone of Eurobricks so we are trying to keep as much traffic and discussion in the theme forums. So a fully separate review forum is not according to this strategy. Having a review sub-forum per theme forum has the risk of less discussion for the reviews because a sub-forum is one layer deeper. For sure this is something the staff has looked at in the past but we are keeping the theme forums as our forum backbone and try to reduce the number of sub forums as much as we can.
  18. No need to ask permission to post your MOCs on Eurobricks. If everyone would start doing that we'll have forums filled with people asking permission Closed!
  19. Flare, I have 2 remarks for you: 1/ Please do not quote an entire post with a lot of pictures. I makes our board unreadable so I had to fix that. 2/ Don't just post to ask someone to email you. You can use the PM function (enabled now for you since your post count is above 10 posts) to contact people if you must. If this is not clear, please contact me via PM (not this thread) and we'll discuss. Thanks!
  20. Very nice usage of this baseplate! Actually, this is how real fortresses were build most of the time. They looked for a spot with some natural defensive advantages to build a fortress (which is kinda what you did here by using this baseplate) and adapted the fortress to this environment.
