LIBRARY: Pirate Torso/Decal/Sticker Designs
Bonaparte replied to Bonaparte's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks for your contribution Imperator! It is added to the library. Here you can find a good template for making uniforms. I hope to see some more uniforms from you. This Russian officer looks very good! It's the first Russian in the library. :) What exactly do you mean? -
Just watched "The departed". Not a bad movie but not a great one.

What about ancient Roman and Greece sets?
Bonaparte replied to Corran's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
If there is only room for 1 historical theme, I would have prefered a more original theme (like romans, greek, egypt or even Atlantis) than another Casle theme. -
You have some very nice ships Kurt. Great introduction! I had already seen your irconclad on BS. It's a real masterpiece. I have build a version of the monitor myself some time ago, but didn't take any decent pictures yet.

These titles are ok for me Mr. Phes! Once you maket the split, I will try to add the "Part 2" in a separate post in the "Index: MOC Ships". Once we get this thread organised (after the changes of Mr. Phes) I will start adding more ships and it will become a global index in the future.

What about ancient Roman and Greece sets?

A roman theme would be great! I have a small custom roman army using torso's designed by AdmMatthew. Here's a picture of one of my roman soldiers: -
That's this information I needed. Is it possible for you to clean (move) all the posts in this thread except the first post (containing all the ships) in a "MOC Indexing discussion thread"? Then I could make a second post directly after the first one with the "Part 2". Once this 2nd post would get filled with 60 ships, we can just make more consecutive posts. No need to ask if our "workaround" works.
-
The problem of the "to many pictures" is on the individual posts, not on the thread. Thats why I wanted to start the thread with 2 consecutive posts (each containing part of the ships). This worked, but the 2 consective posts got automaticaly merged into 1 post (tried this many times). This would be no problem, but now I get the error "too many pictures" when I want to edit this "merged" post. This is the exact message I get when I edit the post with all the pictures: Sorry, but you have posted more images than you are allowed to This must be a setting in the "Administrative panel" of the forum (max images per post). So it is no problem to post more pictures (e.g. "Part 2") in this post: Part 2:

The only solution I see for the moment is to put "Part 2" in another thread (Index: MOC ships II).

We had a New Years party at our home and invited some family. One of the guests was the son of the new girlfriend of my mothers cousin... He told me that he still had a lot of Lego and that I could have it. So the next day I went to his house and got all his Lego.... for free! He still has some more at his fathers house which he will also bring. A perfect start of 2007 :-) !!! Here are some pictures after I spend some time sorting: A box full with Lego, most pirates, city and castle: A box with figs and accessories: A big box with Duplo: A box with a very old train (still have to investigate this in detail):

Good for target practise :-D

Right now I can't add ships because I will get this error (too many pictures). That why I need Phes or Evil Willy to help with this.
-
Please remember that its just a first attempt to index the ships. We can still debate about layout and format. I explained the reason for part 1 and part 2 in the "Index MOC ships" thread.
-
Well, the reason for part 1 and part 2 is a bit complicated... When I posted them all together, I got a error that there are too many pictures in the post. So I searched for the number of pictures (=thumbs) that would be accepted. This became "part 1". Then I wanted to add another post to the thread with the rest of the ships (=part 2), but then they always got merged! And part 1 and part 2 would be in 1 post. Problem now is when I want to edit the post... then I get an error that I have too many pictures :-D Well, its a first attempt and we need some mods to join the discussion (see also the discussion in this thread) to find a practical solution.

Anyway you can help? You can help by giving suggestions and informing us about items that have not been indexed. You can ask questions, give suggestions, and inform us about items that have not been indexed in the discussion topic. To what extent is this updated? This index is updated on a regular basis. Ugly sails, not very realistic design with the arches on the deck. That rigging is done so *n* Not worth the money he's asking! Although I would accept it as a gift X-D -
Ok, now I understand :-D Indeed, I remember this from my favorite movie!

Sets containing piratical and/or complimentary elements!

This really looks good Aaron. Great idea to combine this torso with the shako! I have also been experimenting with that hat some time ago to make a British army from end 19th century. Here a picture of my British troops in Africa (or was it my garden? :-D ):
