  1. This is great feedback! I had a hard time with landscaping the back side as I needed space behind the turret tower for it to 'swing' open - but the space behind the 'stable' area could definitely benefit from some groundwork. I also get what you are saying about the 'roundness' of the tower... I'll have to see what I can come up with for an update. cheers!
  2. Throwing my hat in the ring with another 'castle' build: Forest Tower Outpost Forest Tower Outpost on Lego Ideas The model depicts the overgrown ruins of a fortification with a large tree emerging from a tower. A small raised area with a roof that has been built to offer a lookout and defensive point. The space below is used for storing supplies and keeping a horse. The back section of the tower opens on hinges to allow access. Inside there are prison cells, extra weapons, a banner, some small tables with mugs for ale, storage barrels, and stairs leading to a platform with ladder access to the top of the turret/roof. There is also a cart/wagon included. The model sits on a detailed base with a well and pathway surrounding the build. A secondary large tree and some rubble stand to the right of the main model and have been designed on a standalone base, so they can be reconfigured for maximum play and display value. Would really appreciate your support - AND- feedback! Forest Tower Outpost on Lego Ideas
  3. Not sure of the rules either... but I got you! Wolf Pack Castle Forestmen Outpost Both beautiful and fully deserving of support!
  4. woo back at it again! Round one : TC-4
  5. 2014! It has to be Festive Astromech... no contest lol.
  6. Thanks for running this VaderFan, lots of work on your end I'd imagine - I got in on the action late, but loved playing along. Until next time! #TeamBoba
  7. love the 2 piece helmet on Vader... but gotta go #TeamBoba
  8. Endor Leia - I love that poncho and the torso print beneath, awesome details!
  9. Not going nuts at all... that was my first instinct too! The Ninjago Movie sets are actually looking pretty interesting, but those trans blue pieces are screaming to be used as cockpits - if they come in trans clear Hopefully this means something, gotta love what look like the x-wing canopy up front too!
  10. looks awesome! - does have some Pete vibes, but still very fresh and original, nice work! Are those blue slopes chairs? nice parts use...
  11. Thanks for some good quality pics Bob! I'm so torn on this... I'm really excited about anything paying tribute to the 'classic' space themes and making me nostalgic for things i grew up with, BUT I can't figure out why the update to the torso was necessary - yes the back printing is nice, and I'm excited to get more Futuron, but this guy doesn't blend in as smoothly with my original collection as the Green CS guys from Pete's ExoSuit did. TLG must hate people like me. Fans: "Give us more Neo Space!!" and when they do: "Ugh, why did they change the space guys!!" Anyways, more classic space, woooo! (fingers crossed this guy signals the kick off a new Neo Futuron Line! )
  12. Thanks for the compliments! -Thanks for the comment. There's not much going on inside, the space is pretty sparse with only a joystick for controls, and room for the pilot wearing a helmet and airtanks. -Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately you need to remove the canopy to access the pilot. I wanted to have it open but figured since the pilot couldn't make it through the space anyways there wasn't much point... if you flip the canopy piece around it can be attached in the open position though. - Thanks for the comment. For my Blacktron 3 fleet I've been using white accents sparingly, but overall am still trying to create models that could believably fit into the Blacktron 2 theme. My other Blacktron 3 MOCS are in the eurobricks sci-fi index or can be seen on flickr if you're interested.
  13. Back with another ship for my expanding Blacktron 3 fleet. The Strix Patrol Ship has some very complex futuristic magnetic hovering propulsion engines lining its underside, allowing it to perform intricate maneuvers with ease. (They're so complex I don't even know what to call them ) This little guy fits one pilot and is used for surface patrol on Blacktron occupied planets. As with most of my models I planned the ship in LDD before building in 'real' bricks. Hope you like it - more on flickr - comments and feedback always appreciated! LDD concept
  14. This has been a fun contest to watch! My votes: Category A: #7 #1 #5 Category B: #6 #5 #12 Category C: #7 #6 #2
  15. This is fantastic! I love the amount of thought that went into the space - and the detail, it looks beautiful. Lots of great time building, and building memories, will be had for sure!
  16. The "double trailer" thing from the Lost World with the "high hide" would make for an awesome set... you could throw in a baby t-rex and a few figures. Maybe something from JP3, with the river boat and some flying dactyls, Alan Grant and the Kirbys. As for the original movie, I'd love to see sets with the explorer (much like the ideas proposal), maybe a gas jeep with Nedry and the Dilophosaurus, or the final T-rex and raptor battle in the Visitor Centre with the dino skeleton and scaffolding in the background.
  17. Awesome entries from everyone! 4 - 1 point 3 - 1 point 11 - 1 point
