So the name for the first graphic novel is Gathering of the Tor. What do you say on the Tor? Filler characters, next years villains, or an egregious misspelling of Toa?

Thought some of you folks might be interested in this. Christian Faber worked as an art director on numerous LEGO projects in the past, turns out one of them was the original Star Wars launch. http://faberfiles.blogspot.com/2015/07/flashback-lego-and-star-wars.html Considering it says 'part 1' its safe to assume there is more to come.

Skull Slicer character video It looks like the Skull are all going to get key visuals in the cartoon style. weeeeee Some of the scenes are staged a bit differently from Windham's book, so either he was working off of an earlier version, or he just did things differently just because. Check out the description too, Slicer is Kulta's lieutenant.

That only said that there would be a BIONICLE free-with-purchase, so technically you could argue that he was in the know regarding that the set would have a new mask, but realistically, who wasn't guessing that?

I would assume that the second book will function like the Darkness Below or Voyage of Fear from the original book run: stories that fit into the continuity, but aren't as consequential as books that relay the core story.

No, the prophecy is whispered by Ekimu a long time before the story, then the modern protectors summon the Toa with it once the Skull Spiders get out of hand.

Basically, every person gets a few randomly selected portions of the book. Unless they are limited (they don't seem to be, we've got people getting parts of the final battle) then theoretically the whole book could be pieced together from different previews. On the one hand, cool, on the other hand, we don't really want to discourage book sales.

Different people get different previews. Cat could've gotten a part with Onua and Korgot.

It's actually the graphic novels there, not the books. There hasn't been any news of them having a presence there, so either it didn't happen or everyone missed it.

They probably goofed getting episode 1 for the summer queued or something. I'm sure it will be back soon enough.

I expect Ninjago will continue to flow back and forth as far as its presence in the LEGO lineup. With a rumored new big story theme coming up next year (not to mention the current wave hitting a peak for marketing push), I would think next year it will take a back seat again, at least for the winter.

Maybe that clip is from the very end of the last episode, foreshadowing his return for 2016 just like the Warrior hand at the end of the first run of episodes. Especially given that it appears to be in a small, secluded cave, as opposed to somewhere in the city.

Y'all are really overthinking the whole Ekimu thing. The Legend, the first bit of story we got for this reboot, deliberately states "A shockwave rolled across the land, and sent both brothers into an endless sleep." So that's it. That's all there is to know. He's in an endless sleep. If you want to frame it in real world terms, then yeah, a 'coma' would be the closest approximation. But keep in mind this is a fantasy and stuff isn't always going to makes sense in terms of how things function in the real world.

It seems to confirm that Slicer is reanimated by a Skull Spider. Since LoSS controls the spiders, he controls Slicer.

Oh look, Skull Grinder has a name. Kulta. And if he's evidently driven to destroy all masks, we can finally confirm that that is indeed what he is doing with the Mask of Creation. I bet it can only be destroyed in the fires it was crafted from. And now we know that LoSS isn't out of the game yet.

Both of the covers are 'for solicitation only,' meaning they will almost without a doubt be changed before release (just like, for example, this, this and this.) That being said, something is up here because that solicitation cover for the activity book clearly says Scholastic - either there's some cooperation between then and Ameet going on here or this is an entirely different activity book that they've put up the cover for.

the playtester guy never said there were six smaller sets there, he said he saw the small green one and guessed that there must be five others - which is apparently inaccurate according to the list of sets.
