...and don't delay!

With very little effort, using custom BBCode tags we could make posting set names/numbers easier and more consistent. Wouldn't it be great if I could post something like [set]10179[/set] and get a nice display such as: 10179 - Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon (brickset|bricklink). Of course you should add some flexibility such as [set links=none]10179[/set] and such. I know I would use this feature all the time. I developed a similar feature for a American Football site where I added a custom tag to link to player profiles. It was a big hit and was one of the most frequently praised feature. I even added a hover feature that fired a popup to view high level stats. Simple things like this can add great value to a site. Also, the effort to develop, would be only a few hours. And that is doing it right.

The Clone Wars series are still going on, 20 or so episodes a year. Season 3 just finished. There will be a lot more "flogging", I say 3-5 years more.

Best place to buy castle minifigs?
Follows Closely replied to Konrade's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That is the direction I am heading. I am looking for a 100 or so to guard a castle that I have plans to start this summer. However, this may be a case where being patient would yield a battle back in the near future. Anyone know if there is a battle pack in the horizon? -

Any idea when we will see another battle pack for the Kingdom line? -
This shows the possible scale well. $360 is my final answer. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Anio/SeTechnic/Executor-UCS-ST05/a12.jpg

Good point. If you include both links, with the getnewpost one last the indexing may not suffer, but that is only a guess. Thank you for your attention.

Exactly!

This has to do with when posting an article on the Frontpage. Can you in addition to posting a link to the topic, post a link that jumps to the newpost, like this: http : //www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=44510&view=getnewpost I would thank you profusely!

I had a majority of the pieces on hand. I had to acquire mainly tiles, skeleton legs and vegetables. Just under $75.

Looking forward to that!

I have multiple Mars Mission sets that I picked up at a garage sale, and I have very little use for these colors. I listed the lot on craigslist today. It would be tough to ship these without taking apart. If anyone here at eb collects this them I will let them go for cheap, say $60 shipped. -
The FB is the next one to go. The GE has another year me thinks.

I agree, I will start a new topic if I go any further with the above.

B-OM-7E Some of us may have missed out on the modular buildings. If so this may inspire you to hit bricklink and build your own version of one for a fraction of the cost of buying a disconnected set. We started by using blue instead of the costly sand green. Here is the top floor. We added a third floor to our version, as the original just was too short for your likings. For thoes that have followed our other buildings, my kids (ages 4-9) finish up the interior of our buildings. The third floor is Anakins room. The floor is a bedroom for Ahsoka. The bunk beds are so that Ahsoka can have friend spend the night. As the first floor clearly shows, we added another 8 studs onto the Grocer to make room for a bathroom. The finished building with all 4 floors. Thank you for looking.

The official model is similar. I had a look at it a few weeks before I started this, so I can not be sure how close it is. I would say a 65% match, how is that for a number. Known differences are: Actual model has pet sign on the left. Actual model is a bit larger, probably a block or two per floor. Actual model has more rare colors, that I do not have enough of to replicate. The first floor window on my model is totally wrong, I can't recall that area. The roof line, specifically the dormers are very close to the official model. Also here is a pick of the second building that I started. I actually started this one first, and stalled as I found building the Pet shop more interesting.

This is where I left off. It is based on the 10218, but it is not meant to be an exact replica. Once I finish it i will post more pics.

No modular building planned for this year
Follows Closely replied to t20a1h5u23's topic in LEGO Town
This person should not be considered in the know. The Green Grocer has been unavailable for many, many months. Also, I have seen the instructions for the 10218 Pet Shop. It definitively is coming out this year. -
B-RM-2E This is one of the first modular buildings that we build. It is an apartment for the residence of our LEGO town. My kids enjoy building out the inside of our buildings. This one was stripped of it's interior when we built our library. As you can see there is a good mix of old and new blocks, we used what we had and I am pleased with the way the patch work of gray and bley turned out. This was build over 4 months ago, yet the following two shots, especially it's size and rear roof line remind me of a certain modular soon to hit the streets. As always constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks for looking.

That old scratched up old window works great in your MOC, well done. -
I started it, but I lack the correct colors for a LOT of pieces, and I have 500K+ blocks. My model did not do it justice, so I am holding back as no to give it bad publicity. I am shocked that pictures have not yet leaked. TLG employees are doing a good job keeping this under wraps. Sorry to let you down guys, but the wait will soon* come to an end.

B-OM-7D I have been building modular buildings for a few months now. About time I shared some. Here is my first building, a Pizza shop.

BrickStore can do it, so there has to be a feed. You can install BrickStore and use that I guess. EDIT: Here it is: http://www.bricklink.com/invExcel.asp

Lego UCS Ebay purchase advice needed please.

The seals detach around 8-10 years. The fact the seller told you about this is a good sign. If oyu are going to open this in 10+ years, I don't see any problem. On a different note, I would bet a good $ that you kid will not be interested in Star Wars sets 10+ years from now, and sell is what they would do. Given that a better bet would be to put that money elsewhere instead of spending TOP dollar on these retired sets.
