I don't care for figs so I did not ever take notice. It is all about buildings for me, sorry. The painter was standing on the steps going up to the townhouse. As I mentioned the bay window is the centerpiece of the townhouse. The bottom of the bay had a clever combination of an upside down set of these. The pet shop has some dormers built with a few of these to form the roof line. The main focal point of the pet shop is a SNOT sign, similar to this. The sign is white with red letters, reading PETS. Unlike the GE and even the Fb, which I do like, but they seem a bit dull to me. These buildings are much more packed with detail and interesting colors. They seem more real to me than previous modular buildings. I suspect pictures to leak soon, as they are posted on LEGO intranet.

Side by side with the townhouse on the left, pet shop on the right. They very much reminded me of the building style of BlueBard

The brush may not be a new mould, but I could not recognize the white roller on the end of the stick. I was given a sneak peek, no pictures. I did not get a good look at the interior, but I recall the tank having this as the hood, and this piece as the tank body. There was one fish suspended inside.

The store manager mentioned June 1st with a price of $149.99, and 2032 pieces.

Latest updates on LEGO set sales

Thank you for the tip. I got Woody's Roundup! for $18, unfortunately there was only one left. -
That may be worth more than the correct one. Mine is still sealed, or I would trade.

How many lego pcs in 600 lbs of lego
Follows Closely replied to bricklayer's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
That is a good deal! I would estimate around 250K+. -
The bay window on the townhouse takes up 1/2 of the front, and that is white. Other than that, the buildings are very detailed and no single color stands out. The sides are all bley. The pet shop has the sand blue on the second floor, but unfortunate very few pieces. The buildings are very much in the same style and look as the CC and GG. They are the same height as the CC, and the roof line is very similar. Both buildings are 3 stories like CC, where the attic is the third floor. It will be priced the same as the other modular buildings. The piece count is actually less than the GG. I was on business in NY, and could not stay at the store long so I will not be able to recall as much as I would like. I recall a fish tank, cat, dog and a snake. I did not notice any new molds for the animals. However, there was a new mold for the paint roller. EDIT: I don't think a new mold was used, see below...

I had the privilege of a quick look at this set today. It is two buildings, a townhouse on the left and a Pet Shop on the right. The buildings are built on two 16x32 plates so that they can be stand alone buildings. This modular may be the best one yet, only GG is close in my mind. Some details: Townhouse has a clever built white bay window. There is a painter painting the trim of the townhouse. The Pet Shop has a clean SNOT sign that reads PETS.

It will not be two three story buildings. Remember there is no interior to market street. Also the brick count to make thoes two interior walls would push the price point close to $200usd. I would expect two two stories, or a one and three... Either way, we need some pictures!

I very much welcome a non 32x32 building. My modular street consist of not only 32x32 but 32x16, 32x26, 32x64, 32x40, and more. In my opinion it add a lot to the street to have different heights and widths. September is too far away!

Without a doubt: 6080 6040 and 6030 are close behind.

I think this would be a better place if that number was lowered. Now I am one closer. -
I think you have another year. It is in the spring catalog, and my local LEGO store contact assured me that it has another season.

I was mildly interested before, now you have my attention! Can you do us a favor, and keep track of approximately how much this sets you back?

Considering the unthinkable...

If you do not need the cash, I would hold onto the blocks. You will most Lilly regret selling. The price to replace would be crazy. Otherwise any bricklink owner would give you 5k. If you are serious I may even drive up up north from va -

You have some big ticket items in there. The modular houses for example (>$1,200). From what you described, I would drop 5K on that, I am sure you would have no problem finding multiple guys/gals here that would agree. -
If not longer, because sales on this set have been slower than any other modular. I just bought 2 from the tru bobo sale. I have yet to open the box.

Fundamentals for a good Lego collection?

Amazon does. If you pay off the balance once you get the bill, why not use credit? -
Very nice. There is plenty of room for the collection to grow as well.

Us dads have bad days too, but that is no excuse. What are you debating exactly? -
For obvious reasons I don't expect the price point to come below the $150US, unless a 16x32 model is introduced.
-
On the first two pages of a Google Image Search: I am also not expecting a pet shop.

I would love to see a full interior, that is what could set your model apart. Either modular, or a side section could be finished so that if you remove a side wall you see the interior floors.
