    Maybe, but not that set. No offense to the creator of Villa Maison, but that MOC is not good enough to be a set.

    I have not seen 1x2 plates in many colors on the pab wall. Sorry, I don't have the counts. I would assume is close to a 2.5 factor of the 1x2 bricks. So around 700 plates.

    I play LEGO with my 9, 7, 5, 4 and 4 year old all the time. I have not by myself though. Now, if I had more time....

    Ah 6080, that was my favorite set as a child. And the fist set I rebuild as an adult a few years back. Hive, I had very similar thoughts a few years back when I came out of my dark age. The modern castles all sucked in my opinion. Then 10193 and 7946 came out. After finishing the 10193 build my nostalgia and prejudices faded. I have still not built 7946, but I have the set stowed away for the kids.

    I purchased 4 of the King's Castle for the same reason as you. I also picked up 4 of the Fire Brigade as well. There is a lot of bley in that set. I also like the dark red for castle building.

    If you have room, I would save the boxes. Collapse them if need be. Sets such as the GG and CC I bought one to keep in its original box.

    LEGO has done a good job keeping this set from leaking. Wouldn't it be great if it just ended up in stores. I can't remember the last time I saw a cool new set for the first time on the shelf, like the good old days.

    I don't see any SNOT? How many pieces? Care to share the cost? Great gift! I thought about gifting this way, but was afraid that it would be too costly.

    I would like to see a 16x32 building. A 16x32 corner shop would also be nice. this would accomplish many things. The price point could come closer to $100 and our City will look more realistic, as all building are not 32x32;)
