lightningtiger replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Licensed
Two words.......AWESOME and COWABUNGA ! -
AWESOME period MOC 'Legopard', wonderful detailing and neat building tricks in it as well.......Brick On 'Legopard' !
-
Made some little changes today just to save money..... More to come so keep watching !
-
Oh, yeah I got an email from Lego about this......I'm in AUSTRALIA, Lego....how I'm I going to get to New York City in under 24 hours ! I wonder how many of these exclusive minifigs going to end up on Ebay or Bricklink ? Plus that April O'Neil looks a little like Gwen from Ben10 ! So perhaps Lego might do a better job eh ?
-
Thanks 'soccerkid6', I'll be raising the roof height one brick taller and using 2x3 light plates to cap the ends exposed on top....then the sign will encircle the open section up top. Keep watching everyone ! (dam, I haven't designed a logo yet.....oop's )
-
Er, if that's girl.....she needs a shave big time ! The image of the fire fighter with the axe....to break a glass door ....has a 5 o'clock shadow on it's face. Edit - oh, I see the box art.....a saw going no where and who's to say that barrel isn't going to go boom ! The real pity is no females in the new police sets !

My version of Sonicstarlights Medevil Market Pub
lightningtiger replied to The Dutch Guy's topic in LEGO Town
What a pub and that games area......totally AWESOME 'TDG'.....keep them coming and Brick On ! -
Now sadly I can believe that 60003 has a female in it, why sadly....the images show the guys doing the dangerous fire fighting work not the female....point proved again about Lego's opinion about gender being equal or in this case not...

Thanks 'pinioncorp' for the suggestions, I'll raise the ceiling height and reverse the door's hinge points but it's not a hardware store but a farmers store which is based on an idea I came with way before I joined EB. So since I've improved my MOCing skills I have now chosen to try and recreate my old sub-theme idea. The colours were just plucked out of the parts boxes......I was going for white and red, but thought yellow and green would be different for a change. I'll update a.s.a.p, any other suggestions are very welcome......keep watching !

MOC Ice Cream Parlor Modular Building in Bricksterdam
lightningtiger replied to The Dutch Guy's topic in LEGO Town
That is a wonderful modular creation there 'TDG', I like the giant brick-built ice cream cone. Plus the excellent interiors too ! Keep them coming 'TDG' and Brick On ! -
Something different for a change from the tiger.....just for Lego City not New Mannum this time....oh, yeah it's w-i-p too ! Lego Rural Traders So now you can see merchandise on a display rack similar to the ones I use in my Landmark store.....I still must complete the roof and do some basic signs for it too ! Suggestions, etc., welcome.....keep watching everyone !

MoC: Container Freighter with a Splash of Art Deco
lightningtiger replied to Commander Wolf's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Very interesting space freighter 'Commander Wolf', I like reminds me of the freight ships from the original BSG and a little throw back to the style of ships from B-5. Brick On 'CW' ! -
The turtles look AWESOME and The Shredder.....BEYOND AWESOME ! Oops, looks like I'm spending some Lego cash on some little green turtles !
-
Yep, when will they learn but maybe mid-year releases might be different. Besides, the 60002 fire truck is the most impressive and realistic fire truck Lego has tried to do.....and by all appearances 2013 is the year of the DSS - look carefully at each set !

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
lightningtiger replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
The tiger likes what he sees....gee my buying SH next year is easy ! Remember folks that these sets are aimed towards kids and kids at heart like me .....plus a price point to aim for as well and TDKR will be out of cinemas by release time for the set so price will dictate sales. The Daily Bugle building will sit nicely next to bank from the Two Face set too ! Lego bring on images of Nick Fury's and Aquaman's sets eh ? -
Fantastic set.....I'm impressed and this product should do well as the show is now on Nick around the world. Might have to twist my arm to buy some set...so I have a full set of Turtles eating pizza ! Cowabunga !
-
Question....has anyone done a female minifig head count yet ? Edit - Ouch.....2 female minifigs....lets hope there are some in the Great Vehicles sets.....I think there is a female with the flat bed truck. Gee, this year was better for females at the beginning that is and Lego hasn't learnt their lesson yet that girls buy city as well !
-
Thanks 'PsyKater', gee....it's either the letter boxes or the BBQ that people like.....a huge thank you to everyone for liking these mini-creations. My brain is nutting out some more stuff today so keep watching !
-
I shall look forward to seeing your progress.....by the sounds of it your might only sell Lego ? Brick On 'deen' !

MOC Sushi Bar Modular building Bricksterdam
lightningtiger replied to The Dutch Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Excellent modular 'The Dutch Guy', the ground floor totally looks like a sushi bar, next floor up must be customer service and the top floor are for the board members to keep tabs on things down stairs ! Can't wait to see shots of this actually in your city layout 'TDG' and Brick On ! -
Not bad at all 'LCM', it could easily pass as a bank building too ! Keep going and Brick On 'LCM' !
-
Similar idea to the coast guard copter from 2008. Doesn't look Sea-King-ish ?
-
Thanks 'Vincent', I think I nailed a typical Aussie brick BBQ and 'Alasdair'.....how many letter boxes ? Any suggestions or wishes.....try the tiger.....you may never know what I can come up with !
-
Thanks 'soccerkid6', I should have more work overall on the town tomorrow.....see what my mind comes up with eh ? Keep you-know.....watching !
-
Okay, I'll be the first to say......I want each and every set ! Best fire collection ever, and those police sets with their heavy tie in to the new City Undercover video game.....oh, man.....Chase McCain as an exclusive miniifig totally rocks ! Note the appearance of a new 2x4 part to make more realistic bonnets on vehicles ! Though the museum pillars could have been better, but still an AWESOME set. The only pity.....no Great Vehicles yet.....but hey to have all these detailed images.....who's up for some reverse engineering eh ?
