LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
Robert8 replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
New rumor going around on IG It seems the releases were switched: Series 21 is coming after Looney Tunes. So LT CMF releases in Jan 1st and Series 21 would come next spring Maybe @Itaria No Shintaku can tell us something about it? -
Haha no As far as I can tell, none of these can be considered a rehash I tried to include a bit of everything: classic horror monsters, cryptids, real life horror stuff, trick or treaters, Tim Burton-styled characters, comic horror, urban legends, even recent pop culture horror characters

Now that new molds are a thing in LEGO IDEAS, do you think a CMF project can be accepted now? Asking for a friend.....
-
Yeah.... the timing is awful in that regard But this is something I've working on since like early 2019 I was originally going to post it last year, but I didn't want two calendars going back to back............. and funnily enough, there will be 2 calendars back to back after all because I'm going to post a second advent calendar this year (which is something I didn't plan to)

It all starts next Thursday October 1st Hope you'll be checking around

Looking at the guesses from *certain* people in the guessing game thread , I wonder what will be the new animal mould this time around They have been introducing at least 1 animal mould per series since CMFS15 -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion

But even if Series 20 was a bit lackluster, I still think removing 4 minifigures is not the right way to go Someone listed Super Warrior as one of the dull S20 minifigures that could be removed, while i think Super Warrior is the best Series 20 minifigure. That how it works: to each its own. I dont know how they are testing these but they are including a lot of characters that could and probably be later in a set or a promo or something. Im pretty sure they will be more brick costumed people coming on City sets or GWPs. So, why including Green Brick Suit Guy in a series if we already know most of the costumes return later in sets anyway? (Hot Dog, Corn Cob, Banana, etc...) Having only 12 characters will reduce the diversity of the characters and I'm really worried half of them might be City characters Great to see you're back -
You'll find out this Thursday

I'm surprised the Series 11 Holiday Elf was not included in the family picture tile Was he fired? Did he die? ----- Anyway pretty cool set. I'm confused about the name "clubhouse". They are clearly working there. So this is just like an extension of Santa's Workshop The play feature with the beds is hilarious

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
Robert8 replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I meant that holiday minifigures are weird occurences in January series All of those you mentioned were either spring or fall waves (except for the Series 3 Mummy. You're right about that one. That was a January series) -
The WV reveal has to be tomorrow There is no way it won't be

@WhiteFang Are you going to review this series next January? Is it too early to tell? -
TLG is releasing a set based on "A Christmas Carol" and the minifigures are fleshies.... But the set is not licensed because the story is public domain and it's not based on any specific version like Disney or something Even Hans Christian Andersen was yellow a while ago in a similar despite being based on a real person. Just like Lincoln and Shakespeare (and Michelangelo) from TLM/TLM2 So, it's an unlicensed system set..... with fleshies Has this ever happened before (other than DUPLO and minidolls)? Are they..... testing the waters? (I looked for topics similar to this one but the ones I found are +10 years old. If you know of a more recent thread this one could be merged with please share the link )

They are going big this holiday season huh? LOVE the set! I wish it had the ghosts tho. At least Marley's Is the Scrooge face print new?
-
If this set sells as well as the Batmobile from last year, what else can they release? Joker's parade floats? The 89 Batcave? Or they should just jump to Batman Returns?

Series 3, 6, 9, 13 were released on January Series 15 was a February release. From thise, only CMF S6 had a holiday figure: The Leprechaun. With the CMFs being now mostly city, Id say chances of getting a holiday character are pretty low
