  1. All recent updates here are absolutely awesome. Especially Hawkeye's sky-cycle.
  2. Wow. Hulk's Lab Smash is absolutely awesome. Review here; Excellent, excellent minifigures. Really puts the Spidey-Doc-Ock set to shame with one very good figure and two really boring ones, this set has five ABSOLUTELY superb figures.
  3. Love the Cap VS Hydra set! here is my review; Red Skull's head strikes me as being a pretty good sub for a minifig sized Red Hulk, so I'll be doing that soon. Need more Hydra goons too!
  4. Love that set. I will redesign Groot though - I'd be fine if he was all brown, but looks very poor with all that mish mash of grey. Also, looks like we are getting that radar element on the side of Rocket Racoon's ship in two tones colour - I guess a similar technique to the moulded dual colour sleeves/legs in the Simpsons figures - it looks like it literally stops and changes colour on one line. Also, here is my next review for the Doc Ock set.
  5. If anyone is interested, here is my review of Spider-Trike VS Electro.
  6. Anyone in the Buckinghamshire area of the UK, I rang up my local Toys-UK today (they have about five branches I think) and they said they had the new sets, so I went down and got...well most of them. So I have full price lists. I got these from the Aylesbury branch, still had plenty. Spider-Trike VS Electro - £12.99 Captain America VS Hydra - £19.99 Doc Ock Truck Heist - £19.99 Hulk Lab Smash - £49.99 The one that I didn't get was the Spider-Helicopter Rescue, and the reason being that it's £44.99. To our American friends (at current conversion) that's $75 for 299 pieces. Its also worth noting that they don't list the piece count on the boxes over here, so you don't realise you're paying £45 for under 300 pieces. I would have said that £30 would have been reasonable, expected £35, for it to have been £40 would have been severely over-priced but at £45 it's down right extortionate! Looking forward to building these, but I've got to go to work now, and unfortunately this coincides with the arrival date of the video game I've most been looking forward to in a year! Anyway, there will be reviews and such on my channel if you want to follow. https://www.youtube....GOMARVELChannel
  7. UUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH. They all look fantastic.
  8. Hmmm. Love the new Shredder but apart from that there doesn't seem to be anything special about the set. It's nice but I certainly don't "need" it like the others - no real draw to it for me!
  9. Incredible set. Absolutely incredible.
  10. Looks awesome! I did a spotlight video of my Professor X's/. Also, this year is going to be fantastic for customs. Red Skulls face should be use-able for a lot of people....top of the list for me is Sidewinder, leader of the Serpent Society. I currently have the model (bar the cap) with a red normal head subbed in, and as soon as I can swap it out for Skulls head he is going on the podium. Also did you guys see the flame head from Ultra Agents. Will be 100% perfect for Dormammu. And almost perfect for the likes of Human Torch and Ghost Rider. And finally, if anyone is interested, in the next few months I'll be launching a (somewhat adult), comedy LEGO MARVEL stop motion series called "Clusterfudge" and I did a tiny teaser. It should be a lot better however, this was really more a test than anything.
  11. Invincible is the best comic.
  12. Autorazr and I'm a brickmaster, awesome stuff! Love obscure characters.
  13. Holyyyy! They look absolutely fantastic!
  14. I have not got a decent photo of Shumah yet, just the over-flashed one from my phone, but in the mean time here is the video. Like I say, its a bit cheesy and weird and bad but....ha.
  15. I would be really concerned to see what you people who do not like these designs would have dreamed up if you were in charge! The designs are modern, cool, bulky, dark, tough-looking and large! They are wicked. Shredder looks like the kind of guy that no one should mess with. What were you guys thinking? Really intrigued to see how LEGO handles the transition now! I am sure they'll look wicked.
  16. Oh man! Absolutely brilliant. Nice one. It's funny actually, because I butchered some of my secondary turtles for their green arms and hands, I was thinking of doing special suits for them. Love these.
  17. Ah no worries. Sorry for the over defensive response in that case. I'll add a brief few words next time and pics if possible/relevant. So...I made a weird custom this week. Have not got photos yet but I will get them up soon. It isn't perfect and it DOES look pretty goofy but I did Shumah Gorath. Lol.
  18. A video is pictures and words, and yeah....what's the problem.
  19. Man, you guys doing these modern Cable designs are really making me want to do one too haha! Here's another spotlight video.
  20. Karai is a brilliant character. You find out really important stuff in the s1 finale, and they focus on it in the second episode of s2 (they have only shown up to that in the uk). Her ears are normal size, it appears to be long and glowing because that is part of her hair piece, her hair is black and blonde. Absolutely love all these sets. Especially the sub.
  21. So I tried the new Batman's head for Wiccan - works well, however; - Because the hair I use for Wiccan is quite "face covering", it doesn't make a huge difference. - The trade off is because the face is printed on black, you lose a little of the opaque-ness. Also, uploaded a new video to my channel, spotlight on MK1 Iron Man. The face is a little goofy (I changed it), but I think it actually looks okay. As I mention in the video, I'm not a massive fan of using the welders mask for Mk1 IM - it doesn't actually make sense (IMHO!)
  22. Holy smokes those are excellent.
  23. I'm not sure I'm afraid. Its quite an old piece, often found in black and in a lot of sci-fi sets. I got the Batman Penguin set today, so I'll get a picture of the modified Wiccan later. I also posted a video of Lola.
