Sounds cool to me, but I quite liked Chima! :D

I'm very eager to make a Maestro using that new beard, but may need to wait for the 2016 Hulk, as I've already dismantled my Hulk for many different things. I have a keyring which I've cut the keyring off, just for my display though.

I have never been so jealous. That is utterly utterly incredible. I need it. Wow. Ugh. I'm seriously so jealous. Well done, thats incredible.

That might be my video you saw (LEGO Burst) as I just had a comment on it to that effect. I'm afraid I cannot think what the problem might be. Axels all perfectly in place? Sounds weird to start and then stop though. Maybe try different batteries? Could be altering speed of motor...dunno.

Loving the sound of these! Right up my alley.

Yikes, these prices are spicy. £70 for an X-Wing? £60 for a Tie Fighter? It's a real shame, as I'm desperate for those two and the MF, but that is just totally unjustifiable.

£39 import charges (customs + handling fee) but at least I have it.

I picked up the Lighthouse set today from Argos on an impulse (because I thought it was going to be more expensive) was only £39.99 which is pretty reasonable. It's a really nice set. Here's my review;

Sneak peak will possibly be the movie?

I called customer service UK yesterday. They said the original plan was to release them in June, but at the moment they're not going for sale. She seemed to indicate that they DO plan to release them but she didn't have any update on it as there were no notes on that section unfortunately. Doesn't sound great, but at least it appears they might plan to sell them. I too am concerned that they are selling them off though......that ship is one of the best looking sets in a good long while. :(

I made a video showing every Kai figure, including Deepstone, Airjitzu and Ninjago Magazine variants.

I had SUCH a tough time getting this City Of Stiix review sorted. It took 90 minutes to render the video (sourcing material from a camcorder, action cam, camera and phone) and for some reason seemed to struggle at some still images combined with de-coupled audio from camcorder video. Ugh. Really stressed me out. And the thumbnail took me over an hour. Anyway....I've uploaded it finally! Phew. Hope you guys enjoy it, let me know if you've got any questions.

If you'd prefer to listen and watch rather than read and look, I did a super lovely video review. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr LEGO 70732 - The City Of Stiix £99.99 from Toys R Us 8 Minifigures and 1 Skeleton (apparently not important enough to put on the box. Where are skellie's rights these days?) Set is made up of one large building, one smaller scene and two vehicles. There's some really good minifigures in this set. I love all the ghosts and their accessories, lots of nice trans-green parts, worn rags and transparent faces...really makes them all look very mystical. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr They're a great combination of colours. Trans-green and purple does something for me. Love their faces. Lloyd is described as "Evil Green Ninja". LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr The first part of the build is Nya's vehicle. Pretty forgetable. It has smooth/rounded tiles on the bottom, so it doesn't sit straight on the floor. It's a good vehicle though. A nice little hover bike type thing for her. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr Next onto the ship. This is probably my favourite part of the set. As mentioned in the video, I'm often disappointed by LEGO pirate style ships. Their size is good, but because of that size, they're often very bare in the middle. This one is a great size, so the build didn't get boring, and because it's small it doesn't look or feel sparse. I really love the sail, and I like the way its attached on with the new ball joints. I added a tiny customisation in the way of a spare black claw on the top. I think the ship looks amazing. It's very gloomy, ghostly and interesting. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr The windmill element is the next piece. I like the design of the actual windmill itself and the blue base plates to represent water is cool. I like this thought of this entire city being located on a body of water. The windmill could be taller, but I guess if they did give it any more height it might become top heavy. Still not too bad a design. Just operated using a cog on the back, nothing too fancy - again perhaps they could have added a small contraption to have to twist something further down. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr Finally onto the tower/temple/building itself (whatever it is). I'm not sure how this fits in in the story so I don't know what the deal with Ronin's room is - but this is a nice little room. Some cool detailings like a gold book with a hidden (something-or-other) with a picture of Jay on. A hat and moustache disguise? A dragon statue, an embroided (sticker) carpet. It's cool. The room above is very simple, a bit of an outpost-outlook type thing with a seat on a trap swing door. The top room has something in....I don't even know how to describe it. Some kind of gold instruction tablet at an angle. And at the crest of the tower is a zambo-ball (zomorphe?) shooter. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr The bottom layer of the tower is really cool, again lots of blue to signify water, and it has a great crank/cog setup that opens the two rock doors at the front, with some jail cell elements either side to make it look dungeon-esque. It contains a skeleton and a spider, and it uses some trans green columns - I LOVE these elements, so seeing them used like this in a normal building pleases me. Not even sure what it is....,mystic slime walls? I actually really ADORE the colour scheme for the whole set. The dark blue, dark brown and light green looks amazing, it makes it look so ominous and gives it an effective "glow-in-the-light" look. Great styling keeps it in theme with the rest of Ninjago. I'll be totally honest, I got this set for one reason only, and that's to hopefully give my LEGO channel a bit of exposure and popularity boost, but I'm glad I got the set. I really like it. Good design, fun build and the ship is EXCELLENT. Build - 7/10, nothing all too special but it never got boring. Minifigures - 8/10, it's nice to have a decent amount for a change. Good selection of ghosts. Value - 8/10, £99.99 is expensive but it has a decent amount of pieces, parts and minifigures. Overall - 8/10. Its a great theme, great colours, good selection and variety....very decent large set. LEGO Ninjago 70732 City Of Stiix by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I really hope the Sandman set gets reduced/saled somewhere soonish....I know it's only just come out. It's just really, really hard to justify that price point. DAT IRON SPIDER DOE!!!! -
Kinda crappy attempt at Spider-Gwen.
-
Toxin could be a possibility too.
-
Not sure how much they will come down in price. UK retail prices are the same as US, just the currency changes, so with shipping you probably will be paying double regardless of how many sellers there are. Ronin Rex is £39.99 over here. I'm really....really liking City Of Stiix so far. I only really got it because I thought it would do well on my YouTube channel, but so far I love it. The ship might be my favourite LEGO ship, the overall design is quite unique and I love the door feature on the bottom of the tower.

It's not a hole, it is just moulded into a concave circle. :)
