  1. I saw both the MARVEL sets (Sandman + Carnage) at Smyths today in the UK. The Sandman set is £44.99 and I would argue that it might be the worst LEGO set ever made. It looks completely and utterly appauling. (Of course, theres a couple of decent minifigures) but the set itself looks like trash, and I'd sooner chop appendages off before spending £44.99 on it. LEGO Sandman VS Rhino etc - £44.99 for 386 pieces. LEGO Ninjago Mech Battle - £39.99 for 754 pieces. Makes sense.
  2. Sets also in Toys R Us UK. I am buying City Of Stiix and will get a review up. And Airjitzu Zane.
  3. I got set 70737 today, arrived from Amazon. I've done a review, here it is; Here are some pictures LEGO Ninjao 70737 - Titan Mech Battle by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr LEGO Ninjao 70737 - Titan Mech Battle by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr LEGO Ninjao 70737 - Titan Mech Battle by Michael Jamieson, on Flickr
  4. I placed an order on Amazon four five sets from Spring so I can hopefully fill out my Ninja-needs and that Titan Mech battle - surely...surely £40 has got to be a mistake? Three years ago, 9448 was £30 and that's practically half the size? In fact all of these sets seem pretty reasonably priced, which is not something I say about LEGO very often at all these days.
  5. Damn, I thought S2 was out/had been out a while. I was just randomly in my local toystore (Toys UK) and they had a load. I would have purchased more if I knew! Anyway, I did an unpacking video of the four packs I got, if anyone is interested.
  6. Amazing updates from you guys recently. I see that Constrictor in the background. Frank is the besssstttt.
  7. I don't think that's a problem. In the purist super hero figures thread, everyone comes up with amazing ideas and we kind of all feed off of each other (or copy each other in the more literal sense!). I think if you're passing stuff off as your own idea that's where it's a little different. I'm afraid I don't have a parts list. Basically the main things are tall columns, blue window and a LOT of slopes, (mainly standard slopes) and the slopes that go in on two directions. Thank you for all your kind comments guys! :) I'll post more pictures when I've got interiors and finer details done.
  8. Just one, but I bricklinked about £30 worth of bricks.
  9. I have almost finished my Stark Tower/Avengers Tower modification. I made a video which is below and then there's some photos. It's not quite finished, still need to fill some of the floors and add some detailing. 10. I made a video of my now 319 strong minifigure collection!
  11. Yeah I've got plans for Spider-Gwen at least!
  12. I came in here to moan about the Hydra Fortress price, but I can see we're all quite upset! It's very frustrating. It's exclusive so it's not on amazon, which likely means won't hit sales. I just cannot justify £50 for A) Such a poor set but B) with only 405 pieces. Absolute joke. Although, if you're not content paying £50 for it, you can pay £60 for it from Toys R Us. http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Construction/Lego-Avengers-Age-of-Ultron-Hydra-Fortress-Smash-76041(0147033) Anyway, I've got all the sets apart from this one now and really like them! The Quinjet is really nice in particular.
  13. Loving the recent stuff guys. I have finally re-done my podium and tidied my room so I've done some small bits recently.   14. Winter Soldier was added to the order! Not on LEGO.com, it was not visible in my basket but in the e-mail confirmation. Instagram proof ;
  15. Wow. That ship is incredible. Day 1.
  16. D'oh, I missed the clearer prelim pics. But I see the old ones....and oh my god....they look incredible. My favourite colour is green so chuffed to see so much of that. Look amazing. Super excited.
  17. Thanks for your help, I'll see if I can do the DIY route. OOoh, you don't happen to know if it's 3mm or 5mm bulb do you?
  18. I should know this....I'm making an Ice Breaker gun from the Destiny video game, and I've started making it but I went to get a light brick and can only find yellow or red. I'm sure they've made a white one or neutral coloured light? Am I incorrect? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
  19. Well, that's still £14 cheaper than us. £50 = 95 AUD.
  20. Errr...why are we paying £50 for a 387 piece set? (Black Manta. Which is $40 in USA).
  21. Yeah I picked up some from Tesco this week. Aylesbury big store (little store didn't have them).
  22. It's very funny that you say this. I'm going to a costume party tonight dressed as Hobgoblin. Anyway, here's my attempt. LEGO Hobgoblin by ReZourceman, on Flickr
  23. The snakes were by far my favourite villains so I'm glad they're back! Cannot wait to see pictures.
  24. Onsalught is awesome. Sakaaran might be a good head for him.
