Nice review Joe, even though this set doesn't look that special to me. Kind of dumb that the radio is kept on outside of the helicoper WHY does he have those red eyes. Is he about to become the Incredible Hulk? He's wearing redish sunglasses, is it just me or wasn't that rather obvious? They arn't R2 torsos. By definition, the Torso is the abdomen and head. The piece is only the abdomen. Also, its more general than an R2 unit abdomen. Its also been used for R5-D4. I don't think the torso includes the head... Really I've never seen them in red, Just kidding, I know I know what you meant. But Even though your not a town fan a star wars fan like you should get this cheap set for force lightning for your sith lords!

Good work, The stairs are good and the secret door is pretty creative, but what is the purpose of the palm tree section near the well looking thing? And it needs a huge gate door.

Yoda and Asuka Thanks for the input, I'm glad you like it. Yeah, I've tried and tried to fix that but there is not much I can do without totally revamping the model. The landing gear looks nice but is not very funtional. I was inspired by those strage looking but very small and gracefull looking landing gear on Royal Starships and such from the SW PT. Hmm..... Those gaps are in the back are there for a reason, so the cockpit can open! But the cockpit's air-tightness is not sacrificed because I put a 1x1 tile on each side of the gaps on the inside. Could you please explain this in greater depth? Not to be egotistical or anything, but I'll just point out the air intake in the front and how much I love it; I love that air intake in the front!

Davy Jones looks good except for the yellow head and the classic-smile-ish face. Jack Sparrow's bandana makes his head is too tall and he should have less blueish clothes. I'm guessing the third is Captain Barbossa, and evrything about it is teribble. But at least they're better than these.

It's kind of strange that the x-wing was said to come out before the X-1, we got pics of the x-wing before the X-1, the x-wing was officaly annouced as a set before the X-1 was, and we now have BS galleries of the x-wing but not the X-1, but now the X-1 is on S@H while the X-wing isn't. BTW, shouldn't the sub-title of this thread be changed?

I don't like the space themes all that much, it just seems so childish to me, "whooshing" spaceships around while making funny noises, but I was inspired by these new snot techniques like those beautiful ships on Pre-Classic-Space.com possess so I decided to try my hand at it. <insert some long and pointless backgroud story here> <insert some high-tech sounding and meaningless description here> My final verdict: Snoty space mocs = 8-

Yep, Pluto is a plantatoid, people have been debating it for a long time now, look at the all the planets in their neat, evenly spaced orbits and then you get to Pluto, there is really not much to debate about here.
