  1. First I had problems finding the profiles. After installing the 5 profiles one of them is not working. When I select the Joystick my app fails. I am using a Samsung S5 with Android version 4.4.2 and still waiting for my SBrick.
  2. This set is one of my favorites. I bought it in the year it was released, my second set after my dark ages. I had a similar kind of problem. 5 years ago my motor was not running at all. It was even not possible to turn it by hand. After opening the motor I saw that the permanent magnet was totally fragmented. Perhaps you have a similar problem, but is it in a starting stage. I had to replace the motor. Now the isolation of the threads is becomening loose. I've never had this with threads of Lego. It's also possible that it is not the motor but the elektronics or threads. Try it with another simular motor.
  3. very beautiful train Cannot wait to see it on LegoWorld in Utrecht.... @ jantjeuh did you check BricksOnWheels on frickr.
  4. Yesterday I saw in our local toystore (intertoys) the 42028 (nl € 41.99) and the 42029 (nl € 99.99) but no 42030 (nl € 250).
  5. In most of my technic models and Lego trains I use the brand GP (Search for GP in NL). There are 2 type I use - Rechargeable - ReCyko+ Rechargeable: they have the most [Ah], the higher the number the longer they last. I use the GP 2700 (2700 [mAh]). ReCyko+ : they stay longer charged when not in use. You can buy them in almost every Electrical store.
  6. The Super Car 8880 was the set that brought me out of the dark ages in 1995. I started building with Lego when I was 4 years old. That time I only had normal Lego. When I was 11 years old, I got my first technic model the Fork-Lift 850 (1977). My "dark ages" started in 1984, I was 16 years old and wasn't buying any boxes at that time. I told my mother that if Lego every came with pneumatic elements I would buy one. That same year Lego came with the first pneumatic elements and I got me the Excavator 8851. I can not really say it where the dark ages although I did not buy any Lego until 1995. Instead I collected every catalog and kept on playing now and then. I bought only (technic) parts, mostly wheels and pneumatic elements and no sets. The pneumatic cylinders I used for suspensions of my cars. At that time I only build futuristic trucks. The last I build in 1988 and was in one piece until 1996. In 1995 I bought the Super Car 8880, and I still regret I did not buy more because they where only 45 euro! Since that time I buy one box a year, mostly the flagship. Mike
  7. JM1971 this set has (some kind of) analogue steering if you use the train remote control. The servo motor used in set 9398 and 41999 can also be controlled with the remote control used for the Lego trains. The motors used for driving will have 7 speeds forwards and 7 backwards and the servo motor has 7 steps left and 7 steps to the right. You have to push the stop button (are turn back to the zero step) to stop the motors. The servo motor stays positioned in the selected step the same as you use the remote control for a train (use the stop button to go to center position).
  8. I don't know! I had 111 point. I believe even more points than others in the top 10, but the Lego team chose the last 10.
  9. Hello, I am also one of the top 100 winners and waiting...... I just found the answer to this question: The instructions can be found on the Lego site: http://service.lego.com/nl-nl/buildinginstructions/ Just type 41999 and you can find the four books. Mike
