  1. Bolg and Thorin aren't confirmed. What about this set? Okay not really but close.
  2. What about Bain, Elrond, and blue coat Bard? I'm positive Bard is going to appear because: why would they design a new print for Bard in the game when the more appropriate version in brown coat already exists? But I don't think Iron hill soldiers are confirmed however likely they are. Bilbo to me is long overdue for a new face print. Maybe with an angry/determined face on one side to shake it up.
  3. Never know with TLG but I'd imagine we'd get 8 or so dwarves in Erebor and BOFA could focus on, you know, armies? I am expecting two named characters (Dain and A: Bolg, B: Thranduil in armor, C: Bard) and the rest army builders. I am NOT expecting any dwarves. (besides Iron hill soldiers)
  4. Well since it's an expensive set i'd imagine each fig (say Iron hill dwarf) would be considerably pricey anyway. Someone said that Erebor looked 'pretty big' in one of their toy fair reports so I hope it's a decent size. Btw I suggest you check out all the compiled information at the beginning of the thread in case you haven't already.
  5. Yeah, it makes sense but for some reason they chose not to do the sensible thing. As deskp said, as far as we know Lake town is a $35 set. Prices: Dol Guldur $16 Lake Town $35 BOFA $85 Erebor $120
  6. That was my original belief, but now I find it hard to believe they'd include the big guy in a $30 set.
  7. In case you guys are interested (and I'm sure you will be) The Hobbit: There and Back Again has been officially retitled The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Thanks to Cammo in the hobbit movies thread for the heads up. Read PJ's official announcment over there.
  8. What?????? I have to say I wasn't expecting that. And I am not convinced. There and Back Again is the perfect title for the end of the series, and it isn't even out of context. They are 'There' and they are going 'Back again'. THERE IS NOTHING CONFUSING ABOUT IT. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is in no ways a better title IMHO. At least get rid of the unnecessary second 'the'. But there, that's how I feel about it. 25 min for DOS EE is pretty good though.
  9. The problem with the lake town guard face is it has very light beard printing. But I think you are right about the black hair. And I'm going to buy the AUJ and DOS extended editions together later this year.
  10. My thinking exactly. The new age limit makes me very happy as I'm underage. Due to the change though wouldn't it trigger a flood of subpar projects? It makes we wonder why they would reduce the age limit rather than reinforce it. I don't visit CUUSOO very often so I might not know what I'm talking about.
  11. (^Lol at Nate) That is one awesome trebuchet. Good thinking on your part with the web baggies. The turret looks great too, and your accompanying story is very good
  12. Interesting, haven't watched AUJ EE yet. This is Girion in the game: I know we'll never get that in a set but he looks cool. (Even though his legs and head are recolored from the Lake-Town guard.)
  13. Didn't realise Bard was holding a sword in that poster. Well he's gonna need it for sure. I am really hoping for armored variations of the dwarves in the Erebor set. The ragged clothes they wear in DOS are kind of boring, minus maybe Thorin and Bilbo.
  14. I'm not sure if there are any options for that, sorry. I have a smallish TV and at first I was also having trouble reading the text, so all I can say is sit closer to the screen! If you have the PC version though, then I could suggest changing to a smaller screen resolution in the settings.
  15. 100% finished it today, I am a bit disappointed they didn't give me anything for it. (Lego LOTR had the secret ending.) If anyone else did all the quests, Is it just me or did anyone else find the 'Mom Boss' battles really repetitive and just annoying. I mean once is enough, but twice, thrice, then all three again??? That being said I'm looking forward to the final part of the game, even if it is eight months away...
  16. I'd imagine The First Night is the shelter. The creative box sounds cool, I hope it's basically a big parts pack.
  17. I've found myself wanting this piece many a time.
  18. Great work! I have an LDD moc of this scene waiting to be built..
  19. In the video game Bard has a blue coat: He will wear this in TABA.
  20. Wish it were so but unfortunately July is the earliest we'll get news. Unrelated note, i'm close to 100% completion on the game and I'm wishing we got PJ as the pre-order fig. I like Bilbo but it really was a very strange choice. I could make up a long list of better candidates.. even a new version of Thorin would have been cooler. 300th post!
  21. Why is everyone so furious about the fact they have printed heads? I don't think it looks that bad. If I wanted accurately sculpted un-LEGO heads i'd go buy an action figure. I don't hate the molded heads but why would the fact they have printed faces in the episode make it any less enjoyable to watch.
  22. My favorite is definitely Balin! Favorite non dwarf is probably Radagast or Bard.
  23. Not quite, the name has been registered but not confirmed to be a new title for the film. I don't see why they would do that anyway. We've already known the sub title of the final film to be There and Back Again for years now. Why would they change it this late in the game to something as ill-fitting as Into the Fire? It's most likely for a tie-in of a sort, I'm predicting a video game.
  24. Can't you return it with the receipt
