  1. I feel like sudden branches into Bridge Direct discussions are much too frequent.. maybe that should have it's own topic?
  2. No trolls will you find here, my friend. My opinion? The sets are neat, and an excellent source of parts. But that show is just awful... Absolute cringe-worthy garbage to the end. Harsh, but that's how I feel. Bad move on LEGO's part for sure.
  3. Oh wow... how could I have missed this forum. I had a good time reading through it. 'HOW TO GLUE SETS' 'LEGO'S WITH BLOOD' And many, many topics like 'BOYCOTT LEGO SIMPSONS!!!' This just makes me appreciate EB so much more.
  4. I agree with you. Sherlock just isn't the kind of thing you look at and think, 'Hey, wouldn't that be awesome in LEGO!', unlike BTTF and Ghostbusters. I like the CUUSOO concept model as a display piece. But zero play value there, and not a wide enough appeal.
  5. Wow that really sucks. By the way there's a nice high res version of the poster here.
  6. Yep, the body is big, like the new T-rex. And the legs appear to be the same as the 2013 castle dragon, if not then a very similar new mold. And the tail appears to be the same length as well. The wings are longer, and I expect the neck will be too, as well as being thicker. And the head also should be quite a bit bigger.
  7. Ah that makes sense.
  8. Correct, Wal-Mart had the LEGO Marvel game with Iron Patriot. They just stuffed the polybag in the box. Hehe, yes I had that idea myself. It looks interesting, doesn't it.
  9. Hey bachamn, welcome. I'm afraid I can't say for sure if or where 30215 will be released outside of Europe. As far as I know it hasn't been spotted in any TRU stores at all, but someone please correct me if i'm wrong. To your other question: I'm fairly certain the Blu-ray of DOS will contain the regular packaged polybag and not blister-packed as you say. I hope that helped somewhat.
  10. S@H has the same photos. Excluding 79005 all wave two LOTR sets are pictured with one. Seems misleading to me. But then again it doesn't bother me; I'm simply curious.
  11. But why then would the release date be shown as October at the NYTF, alongside the Bard poster stating a December release!
  12. Mmm, 6 levels per movie is the standard, that would be 18 in total. But yes, as it is I think we'll see 24 in all.
  13. Now that I checked the review again, Lego-Freak's copy didn't have one either. Oh well. I just thought it was strange.
  14. Thanks for that, Lego-Freak. So by a miracle Erebor will definitely be $120 CAD! It's 79017 that I'm worried about though. Black gate was US $60 and then $75 over here. So why inflate the price so much with this one?
  15. I think it's better as DLC. That way you can beat the game and still have something to look forward to at the end of the year. Did you hear that though? 8 levels per movie. Sounds good to me! By the way, there is a game thread that needs to be used.
  16. Woah, you dug up this thread just as I posted a question relating to this set in another topic. Yes, It's a neat set. The lamp pieces though in fact date way back to 1997. So not really new.
  17. Just wondering, are seperators regularly included in sets only in specific countries? (e.g. the US) Take 79005 The Wizard Battle for instance: It is pictured here as including one, only my set didn't have it? In fact, the only sets I've ever gotten one in are 79003 and 21103. Why is this? Bear in mind I live in Canada.
  18. Does it really?
  19. Looks good, but they know we really want to see Smaug..
  20. Wow, great find! Can't believe I missed that. I'll add that to my post and see if just2good could pin it at the start of the thread.
  21. There's this great behind the scenes video on the making of Smaug, check it out here. You can even briefly see at the 30 second mark that at one point his design included four limbs and two wings.
  22. Earliest we'll see pics is at the San Diego comic con, which is in July, I'm pretty sure.
  23. I think since part of the BOFA will take place in Dale it's more likely than more of Lake Town. Plus Huw did mention there was a BOFA set, but he didn't recall much about it.
  24. Agreed, I wouldn't have thought of that. I like the door, and the smoke!
