I may have to get the 'copter... so many awesome cockpits. Plus blue slopy/curvey/wedgey bits, which I'm sadly lacking. And at least 8 of the new cheese+plate slopes. And of course, the fabled 3x6x2.2/3 engines, finally in blue. Mmm, blue...

FYI, the right set of 6 black cheeses underneath the large windows on the armoury's new floor aren't actually connected to anything.

Right, thought I'd give this a go. Makes a change from designing my own stuff, I guess. 2263 Turbo Shredder - Ninjago -Replaced prints -Replaced gold handle-thingy with a lightsaber hilt. -Replaced straw hat with 3x3 dish. -Couldn't fit the canopy on, too many angles to adjust, left it to the side. -Treads won't fit on. -Rear wheels wouldn't fit close enough together. Not sure if it's a collision error or just my inability to line the pieces up precisely enough. I'm guessing the latter. -Some colours are possibly off. Even though I have the actual model in front of me, I can't work out what colour the 3L technic rods with end studs are meant to be. LXF File

Yeah, I just got an email back too. Was starting to fear that they'd forgotten about me, ahaha. It seems to be similar to what everyone else has said, IE they took inspiration from our ideas but can't tell us any more than that. I'm totally fine with that, so I guess I have to wait a few years to see if my [CONFIDENTIAL] theme appears, lol. Speaking of sharing our ideas here, I think the NDAs we signed prohibit us from doing that. So unless I'm given clear confirmation, I'm keeping my contribution to myself. All in all, it was great to be a part of the LEGO design process. And yay, free lego!

Chibi Shadow - 3/4 by .Jake, on Flickr Inspired by FBTB's Chibi Fighter contest, and my recent playthrough of SW: TFU, I built this. It may or may not be my final entry to the contest, as I have a few other ideas I want to work on first. Still, I absolutely love how this turned out. It wasn't without its challenges, like the wings. And the body. And cramming a fig into the cockpit. But it was a very enjoyable build. More pics in the Photoset. Comments welcomed!

This cockpit springs to mind. Only available in 7673 Magnaguard Starfighter, but we got the new Greivous Starfighter cockpit piece... Hmmm.

I found an interesting part in the new and expanded minifig selection... It's labelled as "skeleton leg no.3", and I don't know what it is or where it's from. A peeron search yielded nothing, either. Unless anyone has any better ideas, my theory is that it's a Ninjago skelly leg. Lego designers slipped up and gave us a new piece, perchance? Photoset Well, it's done. Using pretty much every bley plate, tile and brick I have, here's the UNSC Sparrowhawk from Halo Wars. It's been a fun build, apart from the wings. I've got the shape, but they're so delicate. So are the engine/guns. Flicking those flick-fire missiles flicks off the wing, but hey, the contest I built this for demands playability. >.> So yeah, my first Halo creation. Hope it meets with your approval. So I took a break from sorting and I built. Kanto1 by .Jake, on Flickr Photoset, featuring Hoenn, Sinnoh and Isshu outfits. Ash Ketchum in his Kanto and Johto outfit, with Pikacube perched on his shoulder. This is my first attempt at cubedudes, and I love how they came out, great fun to build. Legs are a bit odd because I don't have any bricks in sand blue. But I still like it. Cubedude concept by Angus Maclane. Comments welcomed!

Sniper chick. Head is from Rock Raiders, and I used her torso for yesterday's Mechanic. Visor is quite secure, the nubs fit in the grooves of the hair. On a micro base of whatever sucky backwater the New Republic are trying to steal from the Imperial Remnant.

It's about time the V-Wing got a re-release. Personally, I can see Battle for Naboo being a Flash/Gian Speeder, the Jedi, Padme and a couple of battledroids, with a front of building. Just... more fleshed out than my description, ahaha.
