Thanks for all your comments, folks! I intend to modifiy it later today, so it can be a carrier, as opposed to a fighter. Also, I don't know where you all got the idea of "evil megacorporation"... OCTAN is the only fuel company I've ever had affection for, even if it is fictional. As far as I'm concerned, and this is my theme, they're a benevolent megacorporation. It's the space pirates that try to steeal the fuel who are the evil ones. Or something like that. And the Skull twins wear racing suits/jumpsuits with the Octan logo, so do many many other racing drivers/pilots across the galaxy. Coinicidence. :P

Photoset My latest creation, a VOAT. I only have the middle part of the cockpit in Tr-Neon Green, so I went with the little-loved theme from the mid-late 90s. I've been wanting to use those saucer pieces somehow for ages anyway. Comments and stuff welcomed!

Hello again. Photoset For the Starfighters Flickr group overcompensation challenge, this is a total departure from anything I've ever done before, but it was great fun. Comments welcomed! Although our experts concluded that your planetary defense options would be best with a large fleet of small, single-engine, lightly armed fighters, we have nonetheless produced 15 "Ol' Dependable Tactical Assault Starfighters". Despite the armament and cost differences, we feel confident that the "Ol' Dependable" is the spaceship that you really need. Heavily armed with a high-ROF gatling laser, 2 mid-range plasma cannons and 10-capacity missile launchers and powered by two XL9K cruiser engines, this one-man fighter is capable of engaging and defeating corvettes without taking significant damage to overwhelm the shields. If this is unnacceptable in any way, please don't hesitate to call us.

This is great, I'm really loving all the details, especially the use of flippers as roof shingles. Really enjoying watching the UU expand.

That mini sub looks better than the impulse scooter, to me. Fun stuff.

Thanks all for your comments, glad y'all like it, escpecially the engine vents. If I'm honest, they were a last-minute addition, because the engines looked too empty and plain without them. Like I said, it was designed to fit in with a unified theme, the Scoutship I linked to up top being the only example thereof so far. Basically, it's all about TrBlue windscreens, a single unbroken red stripe, and a general triangularness of profile. Chris, I don't know if you remember me from old FBTB, I went by CommanderJake back when I was active. Nice to see you on here too.

Hi. Photoset Quick one-day build, a light fighter in the same style as my Scoutship from last summer. Quite happy with the result, the view from above looks great and I like the engine vents too. Origninally for the Starfighter group challenge, but it turned out normal. I may rectify this later. Enjoy.

Oh dear... now you've gone and done it... Great representation of the library, modo's shed is great too. My only criticism is with the dome, can you not use trSmoke/trClear to make it appear more glass-like? Then you can put Vimes and Carcer fighting on it and falling through it.
