Thanks all, here's day 2, an Alien Mechanic Alien dude. Not really much to say about him. Wanted to use the RR jet Torso, it pairs nicely with PM legs. Helmet thingy is a firefighting mask, in case you're wondering. On a little base that's meant to be a hanger deck of some kind. EDIT: is it possible to edit the title and subheader of the original post? If not, why not? If so, how!?!

Day 1: TOR Jedi Day 2: Alien Mechanic A Jedi such as we saw in the TOR trailer, wearing funky battle armour under his robes. And with a funky stache. Yeah, if I had a sigfig, it'd be this. Microvig base depicts the jedi temple floor, kinda. I wish all my photoshop edits came out this well, haha. I'll update this daily. Enjoy, and feel free to comment. Thanks all, glad you like it!

Photoset So, here I present the nifty GHL Hovercraft, getting your stuff wherever it needs to be, over land, water, and just about everything else. Specify "Hovercraft" as mode of transport and not even your grumpy neighbour's landmines will delay your post! Yay, I built again. I've had this going for about a week now, and only the bottom rubbery bits are of the original design. Such is progress. Enjoy, comments welcomed.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
J4ke replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Don't know why everyone's racking their brains for a crab arm for Jones... Agents/Collectibe minifig robot arm with claw, just in brown. Problem solved. -
Photoset Not much more than a tablescrap really, most of the time was spent fiddling around with the technic rear. It was inspired by the front wedge, which is from one of the first wave Tiny Turbo sets. Comments welcomed!

Thanks all, glad you like it. It was interesting to build.

Photoset I say good folks, I built a car! Specifically, the MG TC. I've never done a classic car before, I think it came out quite nicely. Pip-pip! Comments welcomed!

Regarding The JSF, that's the full thing, and it's pretty much to scale. It's pretty tiny in-universe, and the ARC-170s are big, 3-man ships. At the beginning of ROTS when Obi-Wan calls in the ARCs and they form up behind the little Jedi Interceptors, you can see the size difference. But yeah, it's the angle of the picture that makes the ARCs look giant and zooming towards the viewer, (I love how it turned out). Quite a lot of people have said too that this is all sad, because Plo was their favourite. I agree, it's why I chose this scene. Thank you all for your comments and feel free to keep them coming, I'm glad it's such a big hit. Just remember to vote for me, eh? ;)

Thanks all for your comments. As much as I'd like to have the cockpits trClear or trSmoke, I don't have enough 1x1s in either of those colours. Also, this is what I built it for: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=43340 Feel free to comment there. Thanks.

Photoset with MOAR pics Jedi Master Plo Koon is shot down over Cato Neimodia. 16x16 baseplate, small entry. About 4 studs overhang at the front corner due to swooping ARC-170s, and less than one stud elsewhere with the occasional rock poking out. Cato Neimodia is a bridge city, so I emulated this by placing the building in between two peaks of a giant mountain poking through the clouds. The bit in the film is just a tighter shot of Koon crashing into the building, so my portrayal is accurate in that sense. REFERENCE: , specifically 0:17, but the rest gives a few good shots of the city I was trying to capture.

Photoset Yay, I built Star Wars for the first time in a very long time. May be used in an upcoming vig, if I can pull it together to my satisfaction. And yay for car doors. So many uses besides facilitating the ingress and egress of people. Comments welcomed.

lol, thanks for the comments. Yeah, IP2K scheme rocks. The saws on the front aren't for attacking or defending, because IP2K is all about a cold war with Spyrius, well-known fact. :P They're for cutting through ice. Luxor, I see what you mean about the LAAT engines on there, ahaha. It was going to have three rockets on the back, but it messed way too much with the balance, so I just added two.
-
Photoset Another mech, but the last for a long time, that's for sure. I love the feet on this, but I overbulked at the top with the cockpit in front and the rockets on the back. It started out as a spaceship too... How things change. Comments welcomed.
-
Photoset My first foray into building mecha, I think it's OK. I don't like the reverse knee legs, but I thought I'd give it a go. Comments welcomed.

Photoset Started off as a Space rover of some sort, evolved into a Borderland-esque thing, and then into a dunebuggy. It started off as entirely tan, but it looked a bit dull. So I added a few dabs of colour on the top. Comments welcomed!

Thanks all for your comments. I'd built the heat shield and nose of a previous version before I decided that I wasn't happy, so I went back, made it about 150% bigger, and added working landing gear. The logo on the right side (that I only photographed because I put the nasty discoloured bay doors on the other side) is a made up logo, something like future NASA/ESA. The other is a blocky approximation of the Classic Space logo, although I didn't take much time on it and only included it for a laugh. As for the info and controversy about shuttle efficiency, I have to say that i don't particularly care. I'd just love to see a more active human spaceflight program, no matter what. Reaching for the stars and all that.
-
Thanks again. It's not really meant to be Star Warsy, but I did take inspiration, mostly for the vanes on the front. And yes, car doors are great pieces.
-
Ugh, broken link. Thanks for the heads-up. And yeah, the Slizer heads (even though the tan ones are from the technic battle droid) were on my list of parts to use. Glad you like it.
-
Photoset We should have these by now, or something similar. Basically, an ugraded space shuttle. Passenger room in front, cargo at the rear. But this doesn't fit minifigs. Oops. Comments welcomed. (You might find it hard to believe, but my next MOC isn't SPACE, or even skyfi. ;P)
-
Thanks. Part limitations are fun, because you have to pack everything in with few pieces. For example, I'd never have used the tricycle chassis as the starting point of the speeder if there was no limit to the number of parts.
-
Photoset Built for the Put your brick where your mouth is contest, 50 pieces. Speederbikes are fun, I love how this came together. Based on the old tricycle chassis, minus the handlebar bit. On another note, these are quite possibly the best pictures I've ever taken. yay for taking pictures in the daytime. Comments welcomed

Thanks all for your comments! Looks like this was a hit, which is odd, given that I'm not overly fond of it personally.

Photoset I wanted to try out a skyfighter, and several attempts later, this is what i came up with. At first it had engines mounted on each wing, then one on front, and somehow it ended up with one virtually under the cockpit. Things happen. Comments welcomed.

Check the full photoset. ;)
