That would make more sense. I only had Nurture because one of the Battle Songs provides party-wide healing already, I figured removing negative effects might be beneficial.

Its Shield's strength is totally dependent on whether or not allies are injured or not. It has the capacity to outshine Paragon's Shield fairly easily, but it must be under the right circumstances.

Since you're considering extra Master classes, here's a rough idea I've had for a while. Think badass Minstrel. Virtuoso Cleric – barbarian– rogue These heroic warrior-poets have mastered a wide range of skills. · Additional Health: +20 · Additional Ether: +10 · Weapons: Virtuosos wield weapons suitable for clerics, barbarians and rogues, including scrolls and battle songs. · Job Traits: Healing (See Cleric), Restoration (See Paragon), Gamble (See Rogue Thief), Battle Songs (See Minstrel), Know When to Run – Virtuosos can steal the drops of one enemy while fleeing battle, Regale – Virtuosos can whip up tales just about anyone will believe. · Battle Style: Poetic: Virtuosos apply all their talents to fight poetic injustice. 1. SHIELD: Deus Ex Machina: The virtuoso revives all allies, removes all negative effects, and restores their entire party to full health at the cost of 1 ether. They then deal damage to all enemies equal to their level, added to their weapon power multiplied by the number of allies that had health restored. The virtuoso also gains gold equal to the number of allies healed times the number of enemies damaged. 2. EXTRA CRITICAL HIT/NURTURE MUCH MORE: The virtuoso deals damage equal to three times their weapon power added to their level. Alternatively, the virtuoso can remove negative effects and restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to the power of their extra critical hit, at the cost of 1 ether. 3. HIT/NURTURE: The virtuoso deals damage equal to their weapon power added to their level. Alternatively, the virtuoso can remove negative effects and restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to the power of their hit, at the cost of 1 ether. 4. SWINDLE/NURTURE LESS: The virtuoso steals health, equal to twice the enemy’s level, plus the same amount of gold and ether if they have either. Alternatively, the virtuoso can remove negative effects and restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to their level, at the cost of 1 ether. 5. DAMAGE/NO HEAL: The virtuoso is struck by the opponent’s attack. Alternatively, any attempt of healing an ally fails. 6. SPECIAL GUARD/NO HEAL: The virtuoso is struck by the opponent’s special skill, but has a ½ chance to avoid any negative effects caused by it. Alternatively, any attempt of healing fails.

Atramor plays his Star Elemental (Ethereal 8), then finally a second Carcinos (Aquatic 8). -
I figured we'd be getting some kind of reward for doing all three cases. Oh well.
-
He's not.

I have similar thoughts as Kintobor. I really enjoyed the quest. The second battle was only unbalanced because you just straight-up transfered Lee's stats from Quest 75. I know it's not quite authentic but I'm not afraid to rebalance NPCs for certain parties - and this is sort of why. (And shut up about the loot, at least you can use that cutlass, I got nothing ) I also agree about the Bonapartes, and I really hope Obero stays on to whip his house into shape. My next quest is the last in which I'll kicking the Bonaparte's policies, I kinda feel bad for helping to spur that on. I really loved the party interaction, too.

My favorite round. I think it makes up for Atramor getting the crap beaten out of him that entire quest. It was when I first got the Pheles Rod and had like no significant defense. But I still had that Special Mirror.

Miderun stared and sputtered in complete confusion, evidently utterly baffled at the maid's resistance. "But- what? But Baltarok is- it's not a desert, we're all- but that's what this gold is for! This land is full of racists and traitors and it's just not safe for our kind. Surely this is enough gold to catch a ship to the homeland. It's not like it's barren over there, we have cities and towns and there's a lot of jobs need filling in the clan to east, Clan Musalnav, and-" Miderun blinked. It hadn't occurred to her that some of the orcs outside Baltarok simply had no idea what it was like. "Look...every greenskin has a place in Baltarok. Most of our ancestors at some point we being pushed around out here or in the Kingdoms. To outsides Baltarok sounds like a desert, but these days it's no less civilized than any other country. It doesn't matter that you're only half-orc, you've lived on the outside and everybody who has gets the respect they deserve. If you really need help, find the city of Imaestym and tell a man named Olmstyr that Miderun sent you there." Miderun hands over the gold again. "You've already faced what few there have - living among humans. I swear by Tarok that you will find a better life in the homeland." Also, the Opal should be back in my inventory. -
He still wears his Rat Hide. I think the rat horde was the pinnacle of that phenomenon, though. There's simply no way that can be reproduced.

Yeah, Atramor doesn't typically dwell too much on the past but when you think about it we did pretty much undo a lot of what we did during Falling Stars. Since Quest 108 it's been more apparent that sometimes extreme solutions are the best ones in the end. Too long. Far too long.

"Better, actually. He's getting what's coming to him. I have no idea what drove you into the service of that sarkuun, but you shouldn't stay in this city. They say we're free but that freedom is worth little here." Miderun shoved all her gold into the maid's arms. "If you can, get to Baltarok, refugees from these treacherous lands are respected there.....or if not, find some other town away from this mess of a city. Just don't stay here, really." -

Miderun blinks at Fogfarer, watching him die with a hint of disgust, glancing at her own arm uncomfortably before nodding to her Obero. "Ash dir tiro lan Vohl tan dir maro. I am glad to have helped such a worthy cause." She then looked over at her partymates appreciatively. "Good to quest with you both. I am of course not so good with problems you can't just kill. But I think everything turned out for the best. I have one last thing to do before turning to the Hall, but I will see you there." Miderun left Fort Bonaparte, bound for Caldera's home. If he was still at the fort in chains that'd make things easier. Hopefully that maid was still there. AI'd like the Ji Pei reputation. And this is just a small role-playing thing, it won't take more than a post or two. -
The first one. The Level 50 condition is outdated.
-
That's what I'm thinking as well. It should be a big deal when one person dies (we're STILL feeling the effects of Reno's death).
-
The Houses still kind of need to exist.

"Like Warlen said, we found a few clues that Captain Bullsworth wasn't to blame. Apparently someone managed to steal the shipping documents from right out of his home, probably taking advantage of his distraction with his sons. We discovered the thief, but he resisted when we confronted him." Miderun shrugged, nodding towards the axe hanging from her belt. "We don't have a lot of information we can give you, but the issue has been taken care of. Bullsworth himself had nothing to do with it." -
"It doesn't matter." Atramor used a torn bit of his coat to wrap his bleeding forearm, still weathered from the battle. "You're here to witness the death of an era and the birth of a new one. Make sure it wasn't for nothin' - Lady Ji Pei could put your talents to good use." He looked over at Tanooki. "You're the Spymaster, right? Keep doin' what you're doin'. I don't imagine this change in leadership will go over well with everybody, if ya' get my meanin'." The regulator turned to Shanxian. "I take this to mean Legonardo is removin' his inventions, from what I understand it caused a lot of grief to some of the other races in Xu. I doubt ya' need me to tell ya' this, but ya' should inform the Brotherhood of Chi and the kappa of what's happened here. They lost two good men. From what their ambassadors said, the kappa are upset about the pumps and windmills and the Brotherhood needs donations. If ya' could help them out, I'm sure that'd help smooth things over." "And for what it's worth...I understand why this all happened. A lot of innocent people died here, but...this is about as peaceful as a revolution could get when ya've got that Council involved. I hate to admit it...but this was probably all for the best."
-
That's fine, I figured that anyway. I'm okay with the loot. Atramor stared down at the mass of blank-faced guards strewn across the floor. McCafferey turned her beady eyes onto the regulator. Slowly, Atramor turned around, his expression angry and confused. "What the hell was this, Shanxian?" The regulator looked around at the carnage in the Council's chambers. "So what then? The Tao Brotherhood, all 108 of those Stars. They all died for nothin'? You paid us for the head of their leader, and...here we are, doing exactly what they...doing everything we killed them for tryin' to." Atramor motioned around with his hand, still clutching the blood-red Pheles Kris tightly. "How many times? How many times has this happened?

Miderun looked sideways at Annienal in surprise, then back at Grant. Annoyed, she shook her head, following the party silently. "Leave those kids out of it. If they get the idea into their heads maybe they'll grow up with some sense. If they join the Wolfgang later, they'll end up dead anyway," reasoned Miderun bluntly, before again going quiet. Miderun crossed her arms, leaning against a wall and waiting for her party leader to explain things. -
Atramor waits exactly 875 rounds to get just the right shot before using the Decamodifier on Jun-Chi from the back row.

Seems appropriately more potent now.
