  1. "You're tellin' me, Alf. We've got too many damn cards." Atramor plays Death's Rose (Plant 4) and then his Carcinos (Aquatic 8).
  2. "Yeah, I could've sworn you had at least two arms while we were questing," piped in Miderun as she nods from a few seats away, enjoying a bowl of stew of some sort.
  3. Free time is like supply and demand. The more you have, the less it's worth.

  4. It'd be a really suitable reward for a Baltarok quest in the future. I don't have any particular quest planned but I'm not letting all that backstory go to waste. I suggest, because of its nature, putting its requirement up as a vague-sounding item - a 'Vindicator's Seal' or something.
  5. My hand is sent.
  6. It doesn't change anything.
  7. I think we all do an okay job of maintaining a fair mix of 'historical' accuracy and some modern-day norms to make the world more accessible. Nice to see the players are understanding of the situation.
  8. As I stated before, I personally don't think there's anything wrong with gender-specific classes, but it's just kind of pointlessly limiting an already-limited availability Expert Class even further.
  9. If it had some sort of buff/debuff abilities I think it'd be interesting.
  10. The first one sounds reasonable.
  11. I think the services and prices there were pretty reasonable.
  12. Exactly. Thus my concern with gender-specific classes.
  13. That and a boost in price. 15 gold is WAYYYY too low, even for poison by 1.
  14. "True enough, just thought ya'd be bringin' in your higher-level cards. And hell, you're gettin' this one outta me." Atramor plays his Dryad (Plant 6), handing the card over to Hoke. "Thanks, mate, and good game. Ya' plan to train on usin' these things in battle?"
  15. I like the options with the blacksmith, emjajoas, but it needs to be revised heavily before Guts gives Mythril Edge the poison-by-100 effect.
  16. "Well, ya' ain't bringin' much in the way of cards, mate." Atramor plays his Cloud Gigas (Electric 9) and then his Phoenix (Fiery 9).
  17. Atramor plays his Succubus (Fiery 4), trumping Hoke's card, then plays his Star Elemental (Ethereal 8).
  18. I don't know about gender-specific classes. Oftentimes they fill a real niche and there's no point in having even further limitations on who can access it.
  19. My hand has been sent in.
  20. Althior's dismissive stance on Heroica's nature caught the attention of one particularly annoyed orc down the bar. "You obviously have no idea what you're talking about," scoffed Miderun. "I didn't come here for glory or money, and I really doubt I'm the only one. And the real hero you're referring to, Staaldalkuaio Haldor, stayed in Baltarok purely to help finish what he started in helping rebuild our homeland."
  21. I like it. Not sure if I posted it last year during that time I posted like a dozen Expert Classes, but I had a similar damage-focused class called Ascetic which would spend ether to channel Spirits and bestow them with abilities like these Oaths do. I found the idea of 'changing stances' so to speak pretty interesting.
  22. I think they'd be more concerned with the sudden decline of Olegaia's rat population.
  23. Miderun just signed up for Quest 122 as well, Kintobor.
  24. I started planning that class under the name Executioner.
  25. Miderun found her way back into the hall after a long day of questing, stopping by the Quest board to scribble her name down under Quest #122 before finding a spot at the and immediately ordering an ale for herself. Her throat was parched as though she had been yelling non-stop all day. Which was not far from the truth. Eubric might've been a mess, yet still....heroes had been there for Baltarok. Much as she disliked the city itself, Heroica offered a purpose greater than any she could find in the homeland. That appealed to her, anyway. The orc found herself somehwat lost in thought as she sipped from her mug.
