  1. I don't care. Clerics can use maces and Necromancers can use maces too. You can never separate me from my weapon!
  2. "Aye, that's fine," noted Atramor, weighing the rather heavy weapon in his hands. Lucky he'd gotten some practice in using such weapons early on with the Chain Whip. "But perhaps ya' should lend the Scroll to Ellara or Rufindel, at least for the Quest? You're a much harder hitter than them, and I doubt ya'd have much time to use it anyway." Does the Fragile effect inflicted by the Heavy Flail last 3 rounds, like in the effect's description? Awesome items by the way.
  3. Atramor spits on the motionless body of the Scroll-wielding Metasimian as he falls to the floor, before healing Ellaria, Skrall, and himself to full health at the cost of 3 ether. He then casts an eye over their loot, grinning. McCafferey flutters down onto his shoulder after the fight. "I'm the only one here who can use whips, and that Flail's close enough, so perhaps I could hold onto it? The Monkey Bar seriously intrigues me as well, but I think it'd be best suited for Nyx, she's the only one who can put it use right now. Maybe when I'm a little less poor we can strike a deal for it. Also...I don't think any of these monkeys are dead. Think Captain Patricia has room for a few more prisoners? They all escaped last time we helped 'em out."
  4. "...And that is why healers stick to healing..." Atramor looks rather surprised and irritated at the sight of Skrall's hulk thrown to the floor by one of the Metasimians and its halberd, hexing their leader in the closest thing to vengeance. He takes a lunge at Scim, darting right at the confused ape from the front row with Ratsbane.
  5. Everyone in Quest 34 fled at some point, and Atramor used it in a different way during Quest 23, but you're right, none of the parties that have come close to failing during a battle have have had Rogues in them. Except Quest 30, but we needed to protect Phil, we would've failed anyway.
  6. The staff is useless either way, you're half Rogue now.
  7. They can still use unique weapons, they just have to fight from the front row. That's completely fair, as if weapon effects could be used from the back row as long as it's used with a spell, that really destroys the Ranger class. Mages are the most effective basic class at fighting Undead, as long as they don't sell their starting gem. I agree with the passive specials thing, that does make sense in my mind. It doesn't really have anything to do with fighting anyway.
  8. Atramor merely grumbles to himself at Boomingham's words, though he did attempt to heal himself from the back row. "I was under the impression that's what actual healers were for..."
  9. That'd be underpowered, I think. I'm pretty sure the Battle Mage and Mystic Knight Shield skills have combinations of elemental and physical damage, which probably includes special effects. But you have a point, I think the Book of a Thousand Creatures applies to spells, and that does make sense.
  10. I don't think that's how it works, Althior wasn't able to use the dual attacking effect of the Twin Sai. Then sell it already and quit getting my hopes up.
  11. Oh, I thought the random letter pull was literally pulling a random letter out of the real Priest's description like the Death Progg battle.
  12. None of the Apparitions can deal free hits, all you need to do is find the real one, Seal him, and bash him into oblivion.
  13. It just means you get to pick between them. I'm pretty sure it's why most special weapons are swords and crossbows, so they get used more often. It's also why Masked Builder should sell it someone who'd get more use out of it...
  14. I think weapon special effects only apply when using a physical attack.
  15. I guess not, it's gone. They'll never believe me.
  16. This is really cool, thanks for setting it all up. On another note, this is a really nifty fast reply box.
  17. Yeah, the colors are awesome, and I'm glad to see that at last there's a subforum for it. Just goes to show how much the game's expanding.
  18. Atramor's aware Nyx is teasing, and one of the few heroes he can consider a friend, but that doesn't mean she doesn't annoy him to a point. Her unorthodox healing methods don't help.
  19. He hasn't been that bad! In this particular Quest! Yet!
  20. I don't think healing involves bashing in your ally's skull or throwing glass in their face.
  21. "For whatever reason she's attackin' one that can knock her out in a single hit, so yeah, I could use a heal. And no, not from you, Nyx. "
  22. I think all healing items should be labelled unsuitable to Nyx.
  23. "What'd- gah!!" Atramor stumbled to the side, spitting bilndly where he assumed was at Nyx's feet. He grumbled several choice words under his breath as he gingerly pulled bits of broken glass out of his face and choked on the Remedy he'd accidentally inhaled. McCafferey gave a harsh bawk in amusement. "Damn makeup-smeared little....there, you're healed now, now quit chuckin' stuff at me and hit one of those apes! I could use a heal myself...preferably from one of the actual healers..." Still vastly irritated, he once again took out his anger on Stim from the back row with Ratsbane.
  24. Agreed, the photoshop job is amazing.
