    Would the Counterstrike Gloves still get a free hit on each opponent? I like this idea either way, I just want to clarify if it does or not. Also: jeez, Khorne. The table of documents looks amazing.

    Nice builds. Each conform well to their owner's color scheme, and I especially like the Thorsuit's Mjolnir and cape. Can we hope to see more?

    Atramor cackles at Louie's green tinge, but then turns his attention to Scim. Boomingham wouldn't be able to take a full strength hit from this ape, not to mention the venom would bleed right through his shield, so with a glare, he lunged at the Scimitar-swinging monkey from the front row.

    I was mostly joking with that statement. I do agree, getting people to talk more often is a good way of snagging scum in their slip-ups, but unless you're making suggestive jokes or frequently comment on the situation around Petey, there's not all too much to talk about. Bristol has been extremely quiet, though.

    Lucky for you, it seems few people do share my stance. I'm not taking part in today's lynch, but I'm not pushing for everyone to do the same.

    Fantastic idea. Let's kill off all the inactive people so our chances of catching scum are even better. I don't know where today's going, but at the moment it seems everyone's more concerned with investigating behaviors than really taking action and voting somebody. That's what I'd like to believe Day One is all about. Petey's been overly defensive, though I wasn't convinced of it up to the point where he seems to have had some private chats with others in an attempt to explain himself. Honestly? I don't blame him. I've been in that situation more times than I'd like. Sometimes you just need to cool off in the day thread and address everyone in private. Everyone's for the most part been level to me, nobody pops out in particular, but it's been quite a day as far as behavior analyses goes. I really don't think I'm going for today, unless something big comes up. I don't have much faith in lynches this early on anymore. The vast majority of the time, it just sets all of us off on the wrong foot when we lynch a townie for acting slightly odd. Exactly once can I recall it's ever gotten anyone anywhere, and that was almost entirely due to a role inconsistency, something God's clearly going to measures to avoid. Now I think I need to go take a hot bath, whatever cleaning agent Becka exfoliated Cameron'e scales with wasn't certified by the Fabuland Sanitation Association. I know this because I haven't certified anything but a thoroughly sanitized hazmat suit. That's 'to vote'.

    Yeah, I don't think there should be that many more scrolls. There's more of them than there are Minstrel songs already.

    Posades, I think you can only favor the type of enemy you roll a Shield targeting.

    Atramor grins at the mass of roots rising out of the ground, healing the entire party, confidently nicking the Metasimian and dealing a healthy dose of venom, and returning the blow from the flailSimian. "We've got 'em now. Good work El-GAH!" he's cut off by the brutal smash swung down onto his head. He stumbles away from Nyx, grumbling. "I'm fine, I'm fine! Damn...alright, if we use our heads this round, I don't think a giant web of strategies is necessary...Boomin'ham, can ya' take the free hit? You've got more health and me and your shield will stave off a bit of the blow." Nodding, and with a wince at the shallow gash left by the flail, he attempted to get vengeance on Louie, hacking at his knee wildly from the front row.

    Either what Doc said, or the ether should be expended even on a failure (outside of battle), on beneficial scrolls.

    I disagree. All one needs is plenty of Tonics and a Scroll of Luck and battles would be beyond easy.

    What about the scrolls in Jeb's Quest? The beneficial ones aren't 50/50 chance for some reason.

    Xarrzan's original description didn't specify, but I assumed the 50/50 chance (which I think was being discussed around the same time) went for all scroll types, so I added it in when I recorded it in the Treasury. I don't think the rule was in place during Quest 15.

    How strong is Louie's free hit if I'm attacking someone else from the back row? 1/4 of 36? Atramor smirks as he gets a glimpse at the Scroll, but the breath is knocked out of him as one of the apes manages to headbutt him. Memories of the prison fight in his first encounter with the gang rose to the forefront of his mind, and he lunged right back, dealing an even worse injury to the Metasimian and sending him spiraling backwards. He stumbles backward, glancing at Boomingham and struggling to think with his new headache. "Damn it...okay. Nyx, you're gettin' healed, so can ya' spare me a hit with that Healing Staff? Boomin'ham, could ya' switch me and Skrall in the battle order? Skrall, if ya' attack with Leojagd you could take Skim out in a single hit, but ya'll have a chance of gettin' knocked out. If ya' don't want the risk, use the Heavy Crossbow so his power's halved for the next round." Atramor followed up on his attack on Stim, though with an upward stab from the back row.

    What an awful tragedy! Again! Well, if our priest guy says lynching's the only option, I guess that's what we've gotta do. I think I'm hyperventilithographing just thinking about it.

    Yeah, I had an idea for a unique shield, but then the Counterstrike Gloves were designed, which was basically the idea. A Shield that gives additional WP in the form of a shield spike, like the opposite of the Bear Claw Gloves, would be cool.

Rufindel heal Skrall back row Atramor hit Scroll/Spear front row Boomin'ham hit Scroll/Spear front row Skrall hit Flail (Cutlass' special would knock him out) back row Nyx hit Halberdier back row Ellaria hit Scimitar/Shield back (or front) row Crossbow gets free hit on Rufindel, he'll survive Cutlass gets free hit on Atramor (It would knock out our party leader) ...Unless Scrollface gets his special, which is why I still don't think anyone but me (at the very least two of ya'll will deal double damage for this round and the next) should target him. That and the Halberder's special are the only ones that could knock any of us out. Thoughts, Boomin'ham? I have been wrong in the past about strategies. A few times..."

If we have to take a free hit from the Crossbow or Halberd ones, we're knocked out, without question." "Maybe you should put whoever's healin' Skrall first in the order? They'll be in the back row anyway, they could take a free hit from either of them."
