  1. Yay, it's Ratibor & Ratabor.
  2. That avatar is just awesome.

  3. Smelling Salts/Nostrums, then?
  4. I mentioned before how I now see that annoyingly common City head as Guts, and the same for Tarn's as well. I don't see how you could influence how much gold you get unless you forcefeed your enemies Mead.
  5. The Steal roll is the only thing that makes Raider garner any more than Assassin. Point is, if you're going to steal the same amount of gold, would you rather have a 1/6 to assassinate all enemies, or just deal normal Hits to them? I agree, it's rather underpowered now, but if it was restored to how it was before it'd just get manipulated by drunk people again.
  6. Whoops, almost forgot. Jacob gives a haughty, halfelven laugh as he manages to hack at Orc C. He continues his attack from the front row, cutlass dimly flickering blue in spirit of his failed paladin training.
  7. Mechanics and gameplayer-wise only? No, to be honest, Assassins is pretty much superior now. But, no offense, it was the consumables strategy that really screwed up the balance. Double damage and the huge number of enemies makes a massive difference. Maybe something like 'The raider mugs all enemies in a flurry of attacks, causing damage equal to their weapon power added to their level. The raider receives gold equal to their level times the number of enemies in battle.'? So, using the situation in the Great Guffington, you still deal a ton of damage, which is the point of Mead, and you'd be gaining 247 gold, which, given that very few quests have had 13 enemies in a single battle, is pretty fair.
  8. Barnacle should only have 173 health left. Atramor nods at Boomingham, glancing at the shield as a bloody 'crunch' is heard from the rat throwing itself against it. "Alright, that sounds good. Skrall, Bob, I suggest ya' change targets. You can take on these two once I've got a hit on 'em, you'll be dealin' double damage. And Skrall, ya' might wanna take a potion." With surprising haste, he takes a step away from Boomingham, and darts rapidly towards the ugly green horde. Weaving in and out of some of those engaged with the other heroes, he manages to find the pair of heavily armored orcs, Buggerer and Barnacle. He swings the Heavy Flail a few times, picking up surprising speed, and sends the end flying towards each of their heads from the back row.
  9. Explains why Atramor hates them so much.
  10. Bring...lots....of.....Barbarians.....
  11. I've already got the bit about the Jade Kraken written down from Quest 44 for the Unlimited Quest. Bring....Assassins....
  12. I'll have Atramor strike up a conversation, if he survives the battle.
  13. I pointed it out, I recognized him. In the back of my head I couldn't help thinking it was too big of a coincidence, and with the captain and 2 crewmen being former prisoners we didn't help break loose, and causing one of the other crewmembers to be stranded on an island for a few days, not to mention lacking his ship now, I thought they were all out for vengeance.
  14. Deadlyish Posion, Semi-Deadly Poison, Fatal Poison, Lethal Poison, Inhumanely Acidic Poison, Explosive Poison... I've always wondered whether anyone will actually run into the Cobra Priests again and have access to all sorts of different venoms.
  15. I was thinking Extremely Deadly Posioning.
  16. Use a special that deals Deadly Poisoned next time to put those SP junkies in their place.
  17. You post your character (and backstory stuff if you want) in the hall, and your stats in the Heroica Statistics topic pinned to the top of this forum.
  18. He's even trying to sell himself some Deadly Venom to make it look realistic.
  19. Honestly, I think the balance may have been off, combined with bad dice. The enemies had way too much health for only 3 players, despite the fact that one was a Hunter. Look at Quest 33. It's the closest comparable Quest, and the difference between your enemies and its was massive.
  20. Worth a shot. It's just cruel to give him 39 Nostrums.
  21. Oh. Darn. Whatever we end up with afterward, this is looking to be a seriously intense battle. At least one of us has a Lucky Dice. I assume it can't be traded with a hero for the duration of the battle, like the consumables?
  22. I count 5 new artifacts in our latest battle on Quest 40. Not counting what seems to be a new weapon and whatever these Pieces of Eight are.
  23. "In that case, captain, I'll be attacking Slaver Orc C."
  24. Jacob hefts his cutlass, deciding to let the heroes deal with the orc leaders. He shrugs, motioning for Christian to come along. He walks around most of the ensuing fight, but once he reaches the back, he lunges at Slaver Orc A from the front row, with a cry of "Smite Evil!".
  25. ( ) Atramor stares at the horde of orcs that swarms onboard the ship. Never has he been in a ship-to-ship battle of this magnitude...the crew and the passengers both desperately run to repel the invaders. Atramor manages to spot one of the greenskins that seems to be directed a rat...his eyes narrow. Despite knowing Ratsbane could easily slaughter the man's rat, he knows he must cut off the vermin at the source. After downing his Smelling Salts, he charges into the swirling green mob, and with a hiss, swings his Heavy Flail downward at the head of Bumboo the Ratmancer from the front row. Before I post for Jacob, what does Naga Sushi do? And out of curiosity, the Aged Wine, the Marksman's Monocle MK II, and the other stuff? Or are those just for flavor?
