There's a cheat sheet in my post in the Statistics topic to make it easier to remember, but I guess it didn't transfer into the topic for some reason.

Why'd I have no effect on Fiery Thunderbolt? Earth is strong against both her types, which should cancel out the Ruby's ineffectiveness against fire while still giving me an elemental multiplier. I should've dealt 192 damage. "I'll take the potion," replied Atramor, flinching reflexively as the mage threw several fireballs and thunderbolts at him at once. "Everyone just focus on takin' the Protector down. It's too much of a risk to attack him unless I'm usin' the rod, otherwise we'll all take damage from his special." The witch swung twice at Fiery Thunderbolt, once from the front row, and again from the back.

That's a combination of the rig to hold it up not being totally stable and a differing camera angle on the shots. It hasn't moved as much as you think it has. -

Have you read the description? It describes what's going on. As for the second part, they're not moving, and they're attached to the ceiling. -
It was not fun to do for the sewers in Quest 69, I'll tell you that. Is there any way you can just stick something black behind the set itself? It'd save a lot of work, and remove those white outlines on everything.

Heroica RPG - Quest #69: The Hook on the Other Hand

Round Seven of Black and Blue Pretzel Nessa Erik Dreyrugr >Sylph vs. Blue Assassin (Shrapnel Bow) - Hit (34 damage, no deflect) Sylph continues pinning down the Blue Assassin Dreyrugr boosts Erik up onto the crane mechanism, but his spear is far too short to reach the hook. Nessa looks around the immediate area, but is unable to see any rope. A more thorough look around the crates may be in order, however. as Pretzel, encouraged by his drink of mead and poking through the huge amount of pebbles and gravel in the half-barrel, finds a long coil of thick chain behind it...too cumbersome for Nessa's purposes, of course, but perhaps it'd come into use later. Cat and Mouse - The Blue Assassin is attempting to escape. The heroes have five ten rounds to reach and engage him in physical combat. The timer will reset after the next engagement ends. - Rounds are run normally, but heroes have more freedom over their actions, such as examining or moving objects in the environment. - The heroes may attack the Blue Assassin with ranged weapons only at all times, but it will not count as an engagement. - If the Blue Assassin is not targeted, he will still deal free hits. He can be targeted with melee weapons, but nothing will happen. Enemies Blue Assassin Prodigy *Seven rounds until escape* Level 40 Dark Humanoid Health: 765/994 Special I: Bolas to the Feet – Blue Assassin Prodigy tosses throwing bolas, entangling the hero, dealing the Bound and Slowed effects for the duration of the battle until remedied. The hero cannot move until both effects are removed. Can only be used once per engagement. Special II: Bladestorm – Blue Assassin Prodigy rains the party with throwing knives, doing 20 damage, ignoring row to each of them. Can only be used once per engagement. Special III: Shroud – Blue Assassin Prodigy becomes invisible, making them unable to be targeted for the duration of the round. At the beginning of the next round, they will pull the hero that rolled Special Damage into the darkness, causing them to be Blinded for the next 3 rounds and Stunned. Blue Assassin Prodigy will attempt to flee immediately after doing so. Cannot be used while not engaged. Passive Special I: Deflect – Successful hits and spells on the Blue Assassin Prodigy have a 1/6 chance of being deflected to a random ally. Passive Special II: Clean Getaway – Blue Assassin Prodigy will break combat after three rounds to attempt to flee. Drops: Nothing Immune to all effects and sudden death. Specials used in order, but I and II can only be used once per engagement. That was a riddle, not a game. A sick, sick riddle.

Atramor flinched as Tianlong's multicolored flames consumed him - but was relieved to find himself more or less unharmed by the ethereal fire. He stepped backward as the aoi slashed at him, and delivered a pair of swift strikes with the Pheles Rod on Fiery Thunderbolt from the front row, then the Protector from the back.
-
"I've got the Pheles Rod, I'll be takin' the hit," replied Atramor, spinning the weapon in his hand once.
-
"Faelan won't work, that's no ordinary dragon, mate. It's immune to elements."
-
"Thalion, give me your helmet," snapped Atramor over the sounds of the entire party tearing apart Jade Unicorn, reaching to catch Thalion's Helmet of the Duplovian Guard, pulling off his Amulet of the Court to jam it over his head, both from the back row. "Tarn, make sure Thalion goes first, and me second. Everyone, kill that damned dragon."

I'm in. This looks awesome.

Heroica RPG - Quest #69: The Hook on the Other Hand
CMP replied to CMP's topic in The Heroica Archive
No, I had it taken and uploaded, just forgot to actually use it. Fixed. -
Unequipping it will take one turn, so it'll have to wait until next round, unfortunately. "I don't plan on healin' it, mate. Just don't wanna attack it, otherwise it could fight back..."
-
Hell no. I intend Atramor to equip Thalion's helmet so we can decimate it without taking any damage except the Protector's free hit.
-
1. Quest 30 - Phenomenal story, NPCs, and character interaction. And kicked off Atramor's unfortunate habit of killing allied NPCs and founded his Witch-ness. 2. Quest 23 - Got to meet Nyx and Cronk. Also had some sweet battles, character interaction, and situations. 3. Quest 53 - NPCs!!! 4. Quest 11 - It was freeform, it had a great plot, and great characters. Plus this is where Atramor first met Tarn. 5. Quest 75 - Blood and loot. Also had some of the best sets of any Quest ever. And the setting's cool. And it's not even over yet! 6. Quest 68 - Maybe it wasn't the best Zepher Quest, but I still loved it. A little barebones, but still had a cool, solid plot and a great cast. And rats. Lots of rats. 7. Quest 40 - It would be a lot higher than this if it got finished. I firmly believe that was one of the best Quest parties, and the sheer scale of everything was amazing. Looking forward to the continuation. 8. Quest 63 - I wish the characters had some more flavor, but our party was pretty awesome, as well as all the references and battles. Never thought I'd get to kill a Mynock and ROUS in the same battle. 9. Quest 2 - The only reason this is so low is because of the players, including me. We barely roleplayed at all. If the same Quest came out a lot later, it'd be great, if only because we'd have more character interaction. 10. Quest 18 - I liked the concept and the battles, but again, little character interaction within the party. I will say, though, that it's easier to strategize these 30+ person battles in Quest 75 than it was solving that goddamn elemental door puzzle. It was diabolical and awesome.
-
Atramor merely grumbled at the Protector, his words stirring up memories of Triad. He pushed them out of his mind, and slid the Cloud Dragon's corpse out of his way with the Pheles Rod. "Hope ya' wanna die the same death. Thalion - take off your helmet. Everyone else, on the Jade Unicorn, save for the automatons - they should go for Fiery Thunderbolt, as should everyone else once the Unicorn's dead. Tarn, make sure I go first. Nobody hold back, I'm takin' the hits." He gulped down a Grand Potion, then pointed the Pheles Rod at Tianlong - he aimed, however, to heal it, both from the back row.

Heroica RPG - Quest #69: The Hook on the Other Hand

Didn't make much sense for the Blue Assassin to use Shroud while not engaged, so I've added it to the wording of the special. Round Six of Black and Blue Pretzel vs. Blue Assassin (Flying Cross) - Special Guard: Bolas to the Feet (Pretzel is Bound and Slowed) Dreyrugr Erik >Sylph vs. Blue Assassin (Shrapnel Bow) - Shield: Roots of Life (Nessa revived, negative effects removed, 34 health restored to everyone, -1 ether) Nessa Sylph begins to draw more plants up from below the warehouse as Nessa starts to come to. Dreyrugr and Erik both manage to get up onto the catwalk, but luckily the Blue Assassin is too busy flinging more bolas at Pretzel to notice them. Enemies Blue Assassin Prodigy *Eight rounds until escape* Level 40 Dark Humanoid Health: 799/994 Special I: Bolas to the Feet – Blue Assassin Prodigy tosses throwing bolas, entangling the hero, dealing the Bound and Slowed effects for the duration of the battle until remedied. The hero cannot move until both effects are removed. Can only be used once per engagement. Party leader, create a battle order. -
You forgot to apply Tarn's last hit, Blue should be at 377 health. Atramor narrowed his gaze at his opponents, most all of their eyes aglow with magic. "Tesni, Nagure, keep it up, and don't hold back. Emeray should hit the Jade Unicorn, Topazor can take a swing at the Cloud Dragon. Thalion, make Great Blade fragile. Tarn, Lee, Benji, - kill him. Everyone, once your opponent is down, aim for Cloud Dragon. When he dies, take on Jade Unicorn. Tarn, make sure Nagure goes first and Thalion's goes second this time." He sheathed Conspirator, bearing his vicious Tiger Claws, lunging at Great Blade from the front row and the Protector of Justice from the back, slashing both enemies twice. If Great Blade is down, he will instead aim for Cloud Dragon. If Cloud Dragon is down, he will aim for the Jade Unicorn.

Heroica RPG - Quest #69: The Hook on the Other Hand

You can absolutely come up with creative ways to damage him. -
I'll be a reserve. 1. What is your mafia experience here on EB? A lot. 2. What do you think of your performance in EB Mafia so far? What are your strengths and weakness? What do you want to improve? It's not been good lately. I always just kind of disconnect from the game early on. Need to work on being consistently active and make some kind of contribution even when I'm actionless. 3. What do you think of the no-PM rule? It's an interesting idea. I think I've done a game like that before, if not I'm sure it at least existed. Intrigued to see where it goes.

Finally!! Don't put it up yet, we've got to get the party back together first.
