  1. I'm glad I ordered mine already, those vembraces sell out way too quickly!
  2. Speaking from experience here I would say keep it. I regret selling my entire SW collection and wish I still it all. I dont often frequent this part of the forum as it makes me think of what I used to have however today i'm glad I did as ive seen a new Sail Barge is on the way! Selling the original was a huge mistake so keep hold of that Sandcrawler and enjoy it!
  3. I had pretty much stopped buying Star Wars sets aside from the odd minifigure but this set looks awesome! Will be picking this up in my january spending spree!
  4. Hey there, welcome to Eurobricks! Here you go -6160 Sea Scorpion This topic really belongs in the Action theme area as the set is from Aquazone, Stingrays but as you didn't know i'm sure you'll be forgiven although your post may get moved there by a moderator. Enjoy the forum!!!
  5. Get some pics up and also a list of what you want in trade. I'm defo interested depending on what you want/have
  6. Missed out on those alien heads sadly but I guess you'll be selling them on the site soon?
  7. Seriously? Those would be something else! I just placed two orders with you for lots of bits for my son and I. I'll be placing some more when the new colours arrive and you get some more vembraces in stock! Keep up the awesome work Thrash
  8. Ooooh great topic! I certainly have regrets, the biggest was giving my little sister my entire childhood Lego collection when I moved out at the age of seventeen. At the time girls and cars were the only things that I really cared about so my Lego didnt get a look in. That huge collection of mine was then passed to our youngest sister and eventually it made its way to my son about five years ago. Sadly over the years many parts were lost and whilst I have no proof, i'm sure Mums hoover swallowed its fair share! That said, had I not given my sister all of my Lego it may have gone elsewhere and my son may never have enjoyed playing with it from such a young age and in turn I may never have come out of my dark ages. I have my son and the Agents sets to thank for that, since then our collection has spiralled out of control and taken over the house almost! As for recent Lego regrets, I have a few like selling almost all of my Star Wars minifigs and selling my MMV but the one that plays on my mind most is selling my complete Space Police 1 collection, I still dont like to think about how stupid that was.
  9. Aside from free Lego, page 3 is the only other reason to buy the Sun!!!
  10. Its my birthday today so got a couple of Lego bits- Kingdoms Chess Set Super Heroes DK book MF Coffin car polybag set! I've got my eye on an old train set too but we're moving next week so my wife is making me wait
  11. I could do with one or two ghost polybags, I can get any of the sun polys this week aside from the thor/hawkeye sets as they have been and gone!
  12. We're being spoilt over in Brighton, they are currently building a bigger Lego store to replace the one we already have. Atleast I guess thats their plan? I cant imagine we'd need two!
  13. That is looking superb! How do you go about keeping such a large build free of dust?
  14. Hey guys, I have a question for you- Having never owned any of the older train sets, will sets such as 4558 Metroliner and 7740 Inter-City Passenger Train run on the later P/F track? Many thanks, Shane
  15. 574 kmh on a train that carries passengers??? Awesome!!! This set is a must have for me. Sadly my train count stands at just one currently, 7938 Passenger Train but having this one too will encourage my son and I to really build our collection into something a little more impressive!
  16. Good luck restoring some of those parts! I have done a similar thing myself a few times with various Classic space and Futuron sets, the finished result makes it all worthwhile. I actually stockpiled lots of mint printed space parts for future restoration projects, you never know when they'll come in handy!
  17. I think you are fast becoming one of my favourite builders ever! I love the dumpy designs of your ships, they all look so good! I'd have to say this and Rescue one are my favourites but they are all awesome!!! I'm looking forward to the next one
  18. Many happy returns!!!! Hope you had a fantastic day!!!
  19. I'd say it deserves its own subforum. Personally I am not a fan so from an entirely selfish point of view, i'd much prefer to not have it taking up so much space in the Town forum. Dont get me wrong, the theme in general is a great idea and my little girl loves it but its not for me and i'd much prefer to have the choice to view Town topics away from all the Friends stuff.
  20. What planet are you on? I have relatives that lived through the war and can describe in vivid detail those horrendous years living in England. For you to say there is basically nobody left with first hand knowledge of that time is deeply offensive and disrespectful and shows how very ignorant you are. As for having Lego sets from that time period, the vehicles would be ok I think but as someone has already said, would you want your kids playing with a Hitler minifig? I think not.
  21. Me too! I love the whole feel of it but I especially love the shipwreck idea! Infact you have inspired me to remove all of my pirate sets from their display cases and make a large table top display!
  22. Original post updated 9/9/12 with my latest Lego auctions. I am also open to trades with Bluecoats from the old pirates theme! Many thanks,Shane
  23. *Edit* Double post! Sorry about that!
  24. I think he looks fantastic! The detailing on the chest is really very good! The only thing i'd try to do differently is maybe some detailing on the backs of his legs? He looks like he's kind of flashing his backside at the mo! Is it possible to apply decals to the rear sections of legs? I guess it would be pretty tough? Either way keep up the geat work
  25. I'd have to agree I think. I saw it in the flesh at the Brighton Lego store and whilst some features look good like the broken shutters etc.... It is much too expensive for what it is. It's a shame because I really wanted it but after seeing it I changed my mind. Still, on the bright side thats £150 towards my Flagship now!
