  1. I like the idea of combining the SP III base with the city police station! Have you thought about maybe modding the city set slightly? I think replacing all the trans light blue windows with trans dark blue parts would look awesome, you could even go mad and replace the garage doors with the black and yellow theme from the Space Police set!
  2. The orange legged one on the larger shelf unit is a moc- PICS HERE I dont think I had any other mocs up when I took the pic although I did build quite a few. Usually I dont like to mix my official sets with mocs but I am quite proud of the Bug!
  3. This is one of those absolutely amazing moc's that i'd immediately rush out and buy had Lego made it! The whole design is fantastic and as such i'm going to shamelessly steal some ideas from it and go make something similar! Hope you dont mind
  4. I've watched a couple of great films this week- John Carter- I thought this was awesome! I know it didnt do as well as Disney had hoped but I loved it from start to finish! X-Men: First Class- Again I thought this was very good too, possibly my favourite X-Men film yet!
  5. A great idea for a topic! Sadly many of my sets, inc my complete SP III collection are boxed up awaiting the day I get my Lego room back but until then, here is a pic of most of my Exo-Force collection- The only sets I dont have are 8108 Mobile Devastator and one of the little polybags. My 7709 Sentai Fortress has been used for parts for some Exo-Force mocs
  6. An excellent review of a great little set! I love the Exo Force theme, luckily my dark ages ended as this theme was in full swing so I have been able to get almost the entire collection. I'd say Uplink is one of my personal favourites
  7. It took a little patience! Most are easy to identify from the accessories they come with. It does help to have a friendly shop assistant that doesn't mind somebody going through an entire box bag by bag! After seven sets of collectible minifigs, I do like to think i'm something of an expert in finding the figures I want!
  8. Obviously everybody will have their own ideas, these five I consider to be flagship sets- 6985 Cosmic Fleet Voyager (will own this soon!) 6783 Sonar Transmitting Cruiser (one small Bricklink order left then I'll finish mine) 6986 SP I Mission Commander (wish I never sold this!) 6984 SP II Galactic Mediator (never owned it but looks fantastic!) 5974 SP II Galactic Enforcer (my favourite ship of all time, will never part with it!)
  9. I bought two sets today from WHSmiths in London Road, Brighton, East Sussex. Its a 50 mile drive from London so not really very practical for your friends. If I were you i'd get them to ring around their local stores and see who has them. Some of my local WHSmiths are not putting them on the shelves until sunday 1st, I got lucky with this store but others have found the same thing. If you want it, the store phone number is 01273 691626. They had one full box and another about a quarter full. Hope that helps.
  10. I totally agree, todays sets are truly awesome no matter what theme they come from but the sets from my youth, Classic Space, Futuron, Blacktron etc.... and the early Pirate stuff can never be beaten!
  11. Had a fun day today- 2 x complete sets of the Olympic minifigures! 9461 The Swamp Creature 9462 The Mummy 9463 The Werewolf 9464 The Vampire Hearse + another Brickarms order
  12. Olympic minifigs are on the shelves at WHSmith's in London Road, Brighton. They had one full box and one with about 1/4 left. As someone said before they are priced up at £1.99 on the boxes but scan on the til at £2.49! I got two complete sets at £1.99 each, make sure you watch those prices
  13. Which WHSmiths is that? I've just phoned my nearest seven branches and all but one told me they wouldn't have them for atleast another week possibly two. The seventh store had no idea what I was talking about
  14. I'm interested in him, is there anything you collect or would prefer more than something else? I have a few bits in my bricklink store and I have a for sale thread on page 2 of the buy/sell trade forum. Take a look in there and see if I have anything you fancy. Charlieboy.
  15. I am loving that cockpit design! It's a great shape and looks fantasic with the trans blue part in that position
  16. I wanted another aerial trooper for my little collection of futuristic warrior minifigs. This one features Buzz Lightyear's jetpack rather than the feathered wings I used on my last figure. A Brickwarriors helmet, a Brickarms minigun and a custom waistcape from an Ebay seller finish the fig off. Hope you like him
  17. This is fantastic! I love the shape, and I especially like all the windows as they are! The moving pictures are pure awesome, I wish everybody pasted moving pics, it gives you a much better idea of how the features work
  18. Updated again today with a couple of haves and s4 wants-clicky here
  19. Couldn't agree more.I'd love to see a Lego Bird of prey or how about a UCS Enterprise? That would be awesome
  20. Its a good bit of fun but i'm no purist! I don't know what I'd do without Brickforge etc...
  21. Ive updated my list today with a couple more figs inc my chrome Vader! Ive also added exactly which Toy Story figs I am looking for. Many thanks!
  22. My minifigure manhunt continues! Just about done with the Superheroes line now so i've moved on to something a little different! I bought these guys yesterday-
  23. Hey there, where did you buy the armour from?
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks Nick! I'm looking forward to seeing your custom figs! Enjoy the forum
  25. I dont know about your particular country but here in England the Royal Mail have price lists available in a leaflet and online too I believe so you can see straight away the prices for each weight class. All you need is a set of scales so you can weigh the order. What you could also do is when you receive an order or shipping enquiry, message the buyer to say thank you for bussiness and inform them you will send an invoice/shipping quote the following day after you have had time to get the parcel priced up at your local post office. Just remember to include the cost of packaging if you are going to charge for that. Some stores do, I personaaly dont bother as I get my padded envelopes and boxes very cheaply. Most buyers are happy to wait a day or so for an invoice, just keep them informed
