They came from the dark void where they offered out there hand, but we were only toyed with as the machines of war began to land. We fought them from our homes and in the skies and in all the land's bends, which little did we know marked the beginning of the end Still we fought on as they burned our great cities, they showed neither the men nor the woman nor the children any pity We move underground as the Earth that once let us live was the breeding of our hell They may have the power and they may live in their tall, metal towers While Mankind sits and in their hollows and cower, But let this be said about the human race, they didn't leave without leaving a trace. As of now there are only two pictures but I will add more as soon as I draw them. If you have artwork that you wish to post (Catch is that it has to be either sci-fi or out there). Anyways to the art! I drew this by sketching it first and then using gimp to paint over it. BTW almost all the planned drawings will involve the same alien Quer'no who is an invader turned ambassador turned.......well you'll find out The Fall of D.C. Letter to beloved: 11-09-13 LT. Dee Bradley U.S. Army battalion 78 unit 045 I write this to you dearest Annabelle, in the hope to say my last regards to you. The Greens have put up a strong fight, in fact such a strong fight we haven't been able to even halt their advance. We have retreated to Lafayette park within DC in order to protect the government buildings in the area. If the need is great, we have last stand positions set up in and around the Treasury buildings, White House, and Vice Presidential offices. I fear I will not see your sweet apple shaped face again. As I speak the distant drum of our artillery holding off the alien swarm on the city limits has silenced. They are coming and I know that the coming battle will not be a victory for me or my battalion. I wish we could've retreated further and maybe I would be able to see you if we reached Richmond. But......but they surrounded us and... I don't know, I just don't know. All I do know is that I love you my apple. See you not too soon I hope. Season's Greetings from Ambassador Quer'no Holomessage, Fenos time: 13-12-67 Ambassador Quer'no, Imperial Fonosian Gradana The War goes well young ones. This Earth is quite a spectacular place to behold. Intelligence was recently were able to locate several of the other important Huumin cities and we have begun to lay "Siege". Hah hah hah ha! Like you can call it a siege. More like squeets trying to take down a quoall. They stand no chance and it actually pains me to see them put up such a fight. Even now as I walk through the ruins of a city known as Parii, hundreds of their flying machines attempt to take down one of our saucers. So much unnecessary violence, when all we want is to peacefully subjugate them. Ah well, what happens must happen and the city does look quite beautiful in the fire's haze. I will be sending along with this message, a Huumin skull and several of their latest fashions. Most of them are un appealing but there is one meant as a head gear I am most fond of. I believe it is a Baret? Anyways, my breek goes to you, both of you. Glory to the war and the Gradana!

Wait, are they airing it as a movie in one night? -

I read that Smith has a contract to be on the show until 2013. It doesn't necessarily mean that's when he's leaving but it could be. -

Like what those above said, the only reason in Fathers Day it was an issue, is because it was attached on top of a major paradox. In on itself it's probably not too bad to meet yourself but only for a brief amount of time. Michael Gambon's character was also already aware of the time Doctor's ability to time travel so that may have dampened the paradox's effect -

Ya never know. The Ood haven't been done by Moffat yet so it could be interesting how and where his team takes them. -

Alright this is what I saw in the series 6 trailer. - There is a "dangerous" prisoner that must not be gone near in Area 51. Doctor anyone? -Nazis and maybe either a POW camp or a concentration camp. -A ruined city? -more of the inside of the Tardis? It's when Amy and Rory are running down a corridor and there are the same TARDIS bumps on the walls. -The ood are back and they've got green eye -I read in DWM that the opening two episodes are set in 1960's America. Which could mean it involves Kennedy's assassination. -The alien at the end is wearing a suit and bears a resemblance to the Grey's in real life. So Neil Gaiman is writing an episode (he wrote Coraline, Stardust, etc...)that is going to be set inside a dollhouse. That's probably what those creepy doll looking things were for. It's also a horror episode. -
No, but he was never on Geonosis either so Lego maybe merging the two. It makes much more sense on Ryloth anyways because there are also the two STAPs he destroyed in the Ryloth episode too.
-
I think the tactical droid is supposed to represent the one from Ryloth of all places.
-
Are you talking about the Mega*****? If so, I could see Lego doing a really cool version of that. As long as they don't do clay and they do the first jellies in MM. The martian commanders in that series were actually pretty cool!

That green vehicle is most likely Trando in origin. They had all sorts of crazy things like that in games like Republic Commando. -

I just peed myself! This looks just........wow! I can't describe it! I mean I don't think the Clone Wars has looked this amazing! So many planets, so many things going on! I'll say what I saw in it after I get back up from off the ground -
Well my local target has a ton of them left so I may pick up a few before they're gone. It's funny though because I honestly could've cared less for the ESB ones.

Well they had one of the special premieres in my city and.......I missed getting a ticket by 2 minutes I couldn't find where the premiere was showing so I waited on grabbing the ticket and then when I went back several minutes later to get it, they were taken. I have the worst luck -
Well I brought it up at least 3 times and everyone who commented said I was wrong. I was the first to bring it up for the final pics back about a month ago.
-
Can I just say this and KimT I know this is going to displease you but........ New Blaster pistols! What did I say? I was right! Boo yeah! Sorry but I was the only one to point that out and since nobody believed me, I thought I should bring that back up

IGN has seen all tree parts of the Savage Opress trilogy. Apparently there were special screenings where all three parts were put together and shown in a movie format. Here's what they think. Link Well it really seems like this will be the kick we needed to get the show back to action. What do other people think of Ashoka attacking Anakain in the supposed preview after the screening? Has she turned to the dark side? Is she now a Seppie? -

I want four of those Hazmat guys. Perfect for Alien, mutant, zombie, apocalyptic Mocs. -
So when will the reviews for season 3 start being put up?

I don't know but I think this thread should take the approach of "If their ain't no pictures, it didn't happen". I've looked over the last 10 pages and it's all speculation over a list we can't even verify is true.

I think it's funny that so many people are saying they would like to unsee 2012. To me it was so obviously going to be a bad, cheesy film from the trailers that it's funny people actually are complaining about seeing it. My friends me went to see it knowing it was going to be bad and actually really enjoyed it. To me it's a fun, enjoyable, popcorn movie with some really good special effects. I just say you should blame yourselves for going to see a movie you didn't think was good. Some films you just need to learn how to enjoy for what it is. Speaking of which a film would want to unsee that looked decent was Tim Burton's Alice and Wonderland.

I'm not if sure if this would count since it's a special but....and I can't believe i'm saying this about anything of the Star Wars franchise. The Star Wars Christmas special. George Lucas will always have an ally in his quest to hunt down and burn every copy of that garbage. Scary Movie 1 & 2: I watched the begining of the second movie nad I could'nt stand that bathroom scene which was ridiculous. I had to stop that and I tried the first one. Then that scene where (from scream 2: the knife bathroom scene) has the guy stabbed in the head by a male's genitals, made me stop watching any of the scary movies. Both movies were badly written and not funny in the slightest.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

Let me argue your two points if you'll let me BTW I don't mean to sound rude if it seems that way. 1) Yes they don't cover this much in the show or any of the film but the GAR is expensive. The Republic commando books cover this pretty well and talks about how the war is funded (especially book 3). One Venator costs at the least a billion credits, considering how large it is and the technology inside it. Now if the Republic has hundreds of venators in it's fleets then thats trillions of credits there. Now each star fighter probably costs several million credits a piece and the Republic has lots and lots of them. They seem to lose both venators and smaller ships at an exponential rate which requires them to be constantly manufacturing more of them. You need workers to build new ones and you have to pay them. Then you need lots and lots of fuel to power the ships so they can actually move, and to fuel a ship. Then you need to take in for account that they will need to have bases outfitted with places to supply this fuel. If you have to build star bases those themselves would cost a small fortune, maybe several billion credits a pop. Then you need to train clones and other personnel to crew the ship. They will need food and lots of it because ships that large will have large complements. Starfighters need bombs and torpedoes so each one would probably cost several thousand. This is only money the navy would need allocated to it. The ground forces need armor, guns, ammunition which would cost well into the billions for an army of 1.5 million troops. These troops need tanks and other support vehicles and considering that the Republic uses a large range of vehicles, this would cost billions. These vehicles would get destroyed in battle and then they would need to manufacture new ones. I honestly don't think I need to go on and that said, the grand army of the republic would cost quadrillions of credits. Pile that on top of everything else a civilization as large as the Republic needs to use for regular things and it's pretty easy to see why they would be going bankrupt. 2) I know what your saying here, I do. However I personally think that it wasn't that she was unaware of the separatist's leaders being bad people but that they were better then the corrupt Republic leaders. Remember, Count Dooku has been preaching that the sith have taken control of the Republic and that they need to leave the Republic. It's really the Republic that's pressing the war. Besides Palpatine is the true evil one of them all, and even Yoda doesn't realize it until it's too late. We know from watching as an audience of what the Count's done, but maybe the Separatist senate doesn't. We've always been treated to the Republic side of things and seeing the Seps as bad guys. I think the point was that only some of the seppies (Grievous, Dooku, Ventress) were bad but that the Seps were'nt evil or bad. The Seps see the Republic as the Republic sees the seps. Sorry for my nerdage -
