    yeah, getting a good camerca definetely helps! It may sound weird, but since I got myself a DSLR I do recieve more feedback for my builds although I think my building skills may not have evolved that much since then ...

    Haha, 6ft down with the fleshies ... I got a full box of fleshy heads, hands and torsos. Tried to get rid of them but havn't managed that yet .... maybe I should bury them too

    I got another 48 by 48 freebuild in the making, that I couldn't finish for the entry. And of course there are going to be more monastery modules!

    Thanks mate, the big question actually was two or three midsections. I actually decided that two should do for carracks usually being rather round. I'm glad it worked out!

    Personally I think that the results of Ch VI deserve a front page notice for the sheer communal effort already, not to mention the quality of the mocs ...

    so how many builders actually entered all six challenges? In Mitgardia it's just Eccs and me, soccerkid did build a tower, but didn't manage to post in time for the first challenge to end. How about the other guilds?

    Thanks eccs, medieval ships are a challenge to build, but I enjoy it ever so much. I just hope the new GoH chapter will allow for some exploring so I can use the "rose" and take her to other places!

    Maybe adding bley arms to the wolfpack torsos would do the job of getting better Starks, I'll have to try this!

    see, that's the problem. Sven believes that he should be sailing West!! to get to Eilandica but Chendrico insisted that he could only go East, the equator being too large. Time will tell though!

    Oh boy, its really difficult to comment on all entries, especially with so many cool Mitgardia free builds that still need commenting. Anyway, many great things here and its quite cool to see the Kaliphlin standard uniform again. Haven't seen it in a while! The shrooms however, really are the icing on the cake, love 'em!

    Ah now I see what you mean. Well I guess I relied to heavily on the Revell "Santa Maria" model (I'm currently building with my son) where the shrouds are inside. At least for the front mast that is.

    changing the first page is kinda hard I guess, but having your main character as a sigfig should help. However, not many Mitgardians are in the wedding scene.

    I actually wonder that myself. Maybe its becaue its still got the wip name in the topic. I also thing its because several people commented on it in the GoH forum already. I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean Oh yes, these old ships are really great and I'm sure I'll stick to this era as the great builders of this forum haven't really ventured there yet. Only problem is to get accurate information. I'm really looking forward to that caravel though!

    Some really cool scenes here! The dry riverbed is really cool as is the indoor scene. Maybe putting a lot of foliage on the brown plates would add more character though!

    Interesting story and some nice builds. I espcially like the white/mint green one quite a bit. However, you forest and outdoor scenes need more foliage and more structure than just a green baseplate!
