  1. Great work ISC, you've really captured the darkness of the character.
  2. Oh yeah, who's the alpha walrus?! Nice harem you've got there Sieggy (watch out for red Twi'lek though, she looks a bit evil/demonic...)
  3. Happy Birthday Ras and Rayman! May you both be showered with Lego and love! Yeah!
  4. Awesome MOC lego-maniac! Seriously, at first glance I thought it was a picture of two cassette tapes (ignoring the size difference). Ah, it gives me flash backs, playing the same tape over and over until the tape starts to get chewed up in the cassette player, slowly driving everyone around me crazy. Ah, good times... By the way, how did you do the reels? Good luck with the contest.
  5. Great MOC lightningtiger! The attention to detail you put in the stickers really help sell it. I'd love to see Mensland next to the Post Shop! Are you planning on doing more buildings like this? It would make a sweet street scene...
  6. Maybe you should have tested it out on yourself first, then I may have been more receptive to your plan...
  7. It really is a shame you didn't take a photo of it (er, the breast pump, I mean), then everyone would understand why I was so reluctant to use it! I can still hear the whine of the 4.5V motor as you so proudly demonstrated your creation... "Here Sweetie, try this!" "Er, I don't think so, Sweetie..."
  8. Happy Birthday Svelte! Review the cake, review the cake!!
  9. Ah, this must be every rock star's dream come true, SUV Stretch Limos, could there be more a more extravagant mode of transport? I really like the banana theme for this MOC, and those lady passengers look like they're having fun. Great work dr spock!
  10. Hilarious! Especially the shot where they are playing together! I want more nature documentaries like this! Kudos to you, sir! Bravo, bravo!! Okay, I'll calm down now, although I do feel odd looking at that last photo...
  11. Movies you can't unsee? Hmm, where to start? Number one candidate would have to be Eyes Wide Shut. That was the most definite case in my life where I wanted to go to the ticket booth and demand a refund for the two and a half hours of my life that had just been stolen from me. What a waste of time that movie was. Especially because the next day my beloved walrus was going back to sea (we were both in the navy at the time), and I wouldn't see him again for some time, and seeing Eyes Wide Shut was my idea...I'm so sorry Sieggy!!! Forgive me (sob). Episode III Revenge of the Sith is a close second. I had so many expectations of that movie in terms of story, but because George is so happy to rewrite the details, to the point of inserting modified scenes in the original movies (grr), these expectations were not met. The turning of Annakin to the dark side should not have been so simplistic and sudden. Seriously, George had twenty years to work out the story for I, II and III, and yet it feels like he's just pulling story lines out of his butt at the last minute. A Brief History of Time. At the time I was reading a bit about physics, and I saw this advertised in the local paper. Wow, I thought, a movie about Stephen Hawkins' theories of time and the universe, that must be really interesting. So I actually conned a friend to go and see it with me, and let me tell you, I don't think I've been so embarrassed in my life. It is such a boring movie. It more goes on about the life of Stephen Hawkins than his work. I've tried to forget about this traumatic error in judgment, but I just can't let go of the guilt...the completely bored look on my friend's face is still burned into my memory...sigh. And just to cap off, The Dark Knight and Transformers. Here are two movies that have been very well received by the masses, and I think they are both badly glued together messes. I just don't get it man, why are these movies so popular, when I think they're complete rubbish? Arrgghh!! 'Nuff said.
  12. Wow, ISC, you've really captured the look and feel of the old west. Sorry, the vulture didn't work for me, all I could see was a hairpiece with a hand sticking out of it...this is why you should never go to a museum of modern art with me..."What, they call that art!? It's just a canvas painted green, all green!! And that one, it's painted all blue...BLUE!!"
  13. Wow, great MOC lightningtiger, it's like you got a post shop and shrunk it down! It makes my heart swell with national pride...er hem, please excuse me a moment (sniff, blows nose). The printed logos are just perfect. If you make Ettamogah Pub, I may just pass out from bliss...I loved that cartoon as a kid...ah, good times
  14. I'm thinking that the Good Ol' Pub is not a venue for a girls' night out...really, can you imagine Henry making exotic cocktails? "What was that you wanted, a slippery nipple??" Great MOC MacK!
  15. Thanks for the snappy review d00dz. We bought this set yesterday. It must be a mistake that it was released here before anywhere else. This set is a very nice addition to the airport theme Lego have got going this year.
  16. Thank you for the review, BTT! I can't wait for this set to come out...finally, official Lego pigs!!
  17. Great review Starstreak, excellent photos. Can't say I'm too crazy about this set. It seems overly simplistic, and apart from the new pilot mini-fig doesn't really offer any special pieces. I think the droid tri-fighter looks more interesting. This is definitely one of those, "only-if-it-goes-massively-on-sale" sets for me.
  18. I'm reading "Tail of the Moon" right now, and so consequently think ninjas are even more awesome than I previously thought. Of course, I have been known to curse ninjas with their ridiculous ninja tricks while playing Dead Or Alive, but let's just forget that for the moment... Anyway, I'll vote for green, because it's my favourite colour (lame reason, I know), and because the black and grey ninjas seem to be getting most of the love (yet another lame reason, but I can't help it). Now let's all send positive thoughts to Lego about bringing back ninjas...ommm.
  19. Great review Lego-Freak! I sooo want this set. Eruptor is gorgeous, and how cool is that vending machine??? The colour scheme for the base of the cage is a bit weird, but I guess when you're building huge contraptions in the bowels of the earth, you just have to make do with what you've got. Ha, and I just got the joke with the name How slow am I? No, please don't answer that question!
  20. Cool MOC Aquila! I think the white paneling between the canons works really well. It will look awesome when you put sails on it! Sounds like you're working with old lego...are you just getting back into it? Can't say I noticed any drastic discoloration in the white bricks, except for that first photo, but that's probably more the lighting...
  21. Wow Svelte, it's brilliant! I'm so glad Sieggy nagged you now, the result is definitely worth it. Great use of the army men stand pieces, and blue tile roof is droolsome! It's just sooo cute. Great work under pressure (you even did a drawing??? Man, that's impressive)!
  22. Cool review CallMePie! I didn't even know this set existed (no Toys 'R Us in Hobart or Wagga Wagga, boo hoo). It's a cute contraption, but for that price we probably would have passed. Cool comic too!
  23. Great review Inconspicuous! What a cool set. Apparently we own it (hand-me-down Lego, yay!), but its parts have been meticulously sorted and catalogued by the mighty walrus. The Harry Potter line certainly produced some very interesting sets. We also have the second generation Hogwarts, with the ultra-cool clock tower, plus the Durstrum (?) ship and the undersea challenge (you know, the one with the freaky looking mermaid). Thanks for the "dorky-looking Daniel Radcliffe" line, that's funny.
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks Allan! I love your Allanton creations, especially the Legoland!
  25. Surprisingly short term! I thought we were going to be good room-wise for ages once you finally, reluctantly bit the bullet, but it didn't take long at all for that cupboard to start overflowing again. Ah, good times...
