  1. This might be an easy one for some people.
  2. This is a great series! However I was kinda wishing of this for Maggie.
  3. I wouldn't say it's the worst hair piece, but it's annoying how it's ridiculously overused...maybe it's a trend in the minifigure world?
  4. I think so too. I feel like I'm in the minority that likes Scarlet Witch's face. I first thought it was designed for her, then reused on Supergirl, not vice-versa. It just so happened that the Supergirl set was released first.
  5. That's pretty neat, would be cool if it was real...but I think we're in more desperate need of a Bruce Banner 'fig.
  6. I just go the Hulk Buster, and although it is a bit too big, it's still a great build and a very solid set. My only real gripe is the blue pieces included representing Scarlet Witch's power...really wish they were recolored in trans-red.
  7. May 1st for us North Americans...
  8. That's why it's in Culture and Multimedia. Not everything in this sub-forum has to be LEGO related, so we're free to talk about stuff like this. :-) Anyways, I'm really pumped for the new DuckTales! Although I grew up outside of the generation of the series' original run, I still watched tons of episodes when I was little, which I loved. There's no doubt in my mind that it will be in CGI, but it could still be brilliant if done correctly. Not everything returning as CGI animation is bad (the new Ninja Turtles cartoon comes to mind). We'll see how it goes!
  9. If they do make a movie, it should be live-action with over three hours of explosions and destruction, directed by Michael Bay, and have Megan Fox star as Gali. Jokes aside, I think a movie would be pretty cool. It would have to stay separate from The LEGO Movie universe as BIONICLE has a different style than that of System. I imagine the tone would be similar to what we're seeing with the Marvel movies nowadays. The only thing about a movie is it has to be careful in its style so people don't just see it as Transformers, it needs to be unique. Now that I think of it, a movie could actually be pretty epic!
  10. I think they'll probably continue the ghost storyline into 2016 to fill the gap before the movie. Since they'll be focusing heavily on the movie, I don't think they would introduce two new Ninjago story lines in the same year. Regarding voice actors, as much as I would love the TV show cast to voice the ninja, I highly doubt they will, they'll probably replace them with celebrity voices. That's just how it goes, they want a well-known cast that's already in mainstream media so non-Ninjago/LEGO fans might want to check it out if there's an A-List actor starring. But then again, people may check it out regardless considering how successful The LEGO Movie was. We'll see what happens.
  11. Well, we did get Simpsons, so never say never.
  12. Hmm...let's see... Dreaming about finding future sets on store shelves. Choosing to buy LEGO over food. The pain I feel when I see kids throw around perfectly good LEGO in the dirt and on the floor, getting all dirty and scuffed up (even though it's not mine). I think I've been brainwashed...
  13. Yup, the sets should be out any day now. My Walmart already has labels for the sets on the shelves!
  14. I was referring to the confusion regarding the figure being Nya or Skylor...we know for sure its Nya now.
  15. Nya = 3 Letters I guess it's pretty much confirmed to be her now.
  16. Ugh, that's really unfortunate. I was looking forward to seeing so many new characters and vehicles, but nope. And the fact that Mega Bloks gets to make sets...just...ugh. All my hopes and dreams...crushed.
  17. This is great news! I'm really excited for this! Finally Spider-Man will be done right, and to be included in the MCU is amazing! I'm thinking a post-credits scene with Age of Ultron would be a great tease, and it's not too terribly late to include it. I don't mind them pushing back the other movies, as long as Spidey is given the love and attention he deserves, that would be great. Hopefully they don't spend much time on an origin story, some brief exposition would be just fine.
  18. It is a new LEGO theme directed at girls, we already have pictures... I feel like you've only read the first few pages of this thread.
  19. I was curious about Target, so I decided to pop in yesterday...the place was a disaster. They were completely sold out of LEGO, not one set in store. Lots of things were pushed up to the front of the store. I never thought people would go crazy over 10-20% off.
  20. YES! Make that happen! :-D Anyways, that reminds me of the lack of Friends characters in the first movie. I really hope they bring in mini-dolls, maybe have one of them as a side-kick or something.
  21. I'm wishing that this also includes a minifig-sized Wall-E, on a display stand with Wall-E's stats, similar to what they do in UCS sets. (Yes I know they probably won't include it, but it would be great!)
  22. I really liked Chima in its first year, and I bought almost all the sets. In 2014, my interest somehow dwindled which led me to shift my focus to other themes and buy only a couple of the year's sets. I think the plot had a lot to do with my loss of interest, since the initial idea seemed really neat, but got a bit boring as time progressed. The sets were cool, but at the same time some of them felt bland from a lack of good story context I feel. Anyways, I feel Chima has run its course, and whether or not it gets replaced with a new theme doesn't matter much to me since Ninjago and Bionicle are now my top priority. I think if LEGO does introduce a new theme of this scale, they should establish a good foundation of a plot to build upon and develop the story as the years go on. Yes, the sets matter since that's what they have to sell, but a good, interesting story could be the driving force for people buying the sets, one of the reasons why I think Ninjago and Bionicle in its early years were so successful. Even though I haven't cared much for Chima recently, I am still sad to see it go. But, I think it's for the best.
  23. Nice to see the figure. I really don't mind them using the same face, I actually like that they did that (it'll be great to put Owen and Star-Lord side by side ).
  24. YES! This is really exciting. I don't really care for Doctor Who, so this is great news for me. Glad to see another Pixar set! Definitely a day 1 purchase!
