I still think the ninja is Skylor. I don't think it makes much sense to switch Nya from being a samurai to a ninja. To me, at least, her being a samurai is what made her unique. Also, looking back at the prelims, it looks like Nya appears in the Titan Mech Battle set in her samurai outfit, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same figure from the first-half of this year. Anyways, we'll find out who it really is with final pics, I guess.

But Nya is already a Samurai, her figure is on the turntable. I'm pretty sure it's Skylor.

Wow, those are some very nice figs! I really like the new ghost bottom piece, and it's nice that they didn't just reuse the genie piece. Also, with a better look I'm more convinced that Skylor is the ninja with the azure hood. The new ninja outfits are cool, too.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Am I the only one who wishes that Zane stayed dead? As much as I love him, I think they should have kept him away for at least a year, rather than bringing him back right away. I feel like his sacrifice in the last season was just an excuse to bring him back as "The Titanium Ninja" in this season, which I guess is ok, but I really liked the idea of a broken team struggling to keep themselves together after losing a member. THEN bring him back a year or so later, give him a proper re-introduction, and give it a larger impact on the story that's not just "He's alive, let's save him!". I don't know, just my thoughts on the matter. But regardless that being my only gripe, this is probably the best season yet. Ninjago's getting dark...I like it. :-)- 4,591 replies

Yup, these look 1000x better than the prelims! I'm really digging the blended Toa masks, the only thing is we don't seem to get Tahu and Gali's masks. As for the new villains, all them look great, especially the Skull Slicer (love the trans-green bones!) I'm also glad we're getting red-orange eye stalks after all!

A clearer image! Thanks! Skull Grinder looks pretty good, but I think the colors look a bit weird. Ekimu looks great, though, excited to get him!

Looking at that cover...could the temple structure in the background be the D2C set we're expecting later this year? I thought it was the temple from Battle for Ninjago City at first, but it's definitely something else.

The dragons look nice, especially the Morro Dragon, which is a must-have for me. I also like the ghost mech. As for the others, they don't look too interesting. I have to see clearer pictures before I judge them too quickly.

Wow, this actually looks really good! I was expecting it to be no more than a lackluster theme when it was announced, but I'm actually liking it now! I'll have to get some of the sets. Dang it, this year has too much for my wallet to bear!

That looks great! So we are getting the MoCr after all! Ekimu looks great with his protector mask. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the Skull Grinder, who looks quite interesting and not as bland as I thought. Such excitement! EDIT: The rest of the sets look...odd. I'm not sure what to think of them, I'll have to see in-person pics to properly judge them.

It's weird, the same thing at my TRU. Nothing new, except for Bionicle Onua. So far, Mastermind Toys is the only place with new products from what I've seen. Nothing at my Walmart either, but Series 13 minifigs.

Ghosts? What's with all the monster-type stuff coming out this year? We have Scooby Doo, CMF 14 (rumored), and now Ninjago? I guess kids like that stuff. We'll see how this goes...

Yup, that's it. I loved that movie. Your turn.

Here's one of my childhood favorites:

We're Back, A Dinosaur's Story. I remember watching it as a kid.

Target is closing all their stores in Canada. Let's hope for some LEGO on clearance!

Yup, you got it. To me it's one of those movies you watch when it's on reruns and you've got nothing to do. Your turn!
-
Hmm, it works for me. Here's a link if that helps.

Whoops, forgot to post one. Sorry 'bout that. Anyways, here's one. (This one might be a bit obvious, but we'll see. )

Wow, that's amazing! I especially like the Rahi-type creatures you made. Definitely a great example of the potential CCBS holds. I wish I had the talent and parts to do these kind of MOCs. How did you find the opportunity to do this?

I'm not going to get my hopes up for pics this month. Last year, the Sea Cow was released on the 17th to VIPs, and we only got official pics in a press release just shortly before its release (we saw it early due to leaks). Just something to keep in mind. -
Swing Parade of 1946? Had to research this one.
-
Yup, you got it! I saw it recently, and would recommend it if you have some time to spare. :-) Your turn!
