  1. Sunday I was even more tired, the kids kept coming :)
  2. You can let the motors float / coast instead of relying on the encoder, what software you using?
  3. Hey there. It uses 22 motors! Everything I build I test with my weight (currently 90kg due to xmas and pies). At shows I run with kids so the vehicle last longer. After a while the plastic axels will break. All motors encoders are off. I did do a go-cart using XL motors I plan to ride the tank to the shops? worth doing?
  4. I use touch sensors to control each NXT as BT would be slow and unstable :( NTX, told you I needed sleep!
  5. I have a few spare NXT's at home so no I did not thankfully!
  6. I built a new ride on vehicle for Brick 2015 at London Excel. It was super popular and I am so tired now (3 day event, 20,000 + people) Uses 10 NTX's 22 motors, rotacaster 125mm wheels! Made in 5 evenings powered by RedBull
  7. Asda seem cheaper to be honest!
  8. It now has object tracking and a less aggressive jaw :)
  9. Thanks people :) thought I was gonna get flamed So I am going to sort out the jaw as I want it to talk (will help from Android) The 3D printer I own is Wanhao Duplicator i3, I don't know much about printers but here is my review
  10. Hi all, this is my latest project, hopefully it does not annoy people as it's not pure LEGO but it's a interesting test. I always like to try out new stuff with LEGO and recently got a 3D Printer :)
  11. Wow that video is awesome Site fixed, sorry for the delay. I am now building a Apple Watch controllable tank
  12. Anyone got any advice on how the would improve the look?
  13. In simple terms as soon as you pick up the phone, the game speeds up, then over time (if you survive the initial speed up) the steering will be less responsive
  14. The wife is definitely better to look at than me however I feel she break easier! I hope to use my Apple Watch and its accelerometers :)
  15. I dont detect that yet, their is a switch under the phone and so if you don't pick it up you wont crash :)
  16. Yeah my wife nearly feel off them lol you do need balance!
  17. Cool idea, yeah I could do that. I do actually want to run them from my iPhone!
  18. Very good ideas, the first version the track was divided in to 2 parts and so it could move at different speeds, it makes the game very very hard!
  19. So as a safety thing at work, we are encouraging people not to use their phone while driving. So I built this simulator I hope to improve it but the cause is a good one :)
  20. So just finished building LEGO EV3 Roller skates I need to make them sexier but surprised they actually worked
  21. The other Segway I built uses gyros to control movement, not balance. This was just just something I wanted to get working tonight, the wheels are sadly not round enough to work properly
  22. So, this has been in my garage for a couple of years and was supposed to be a mega segway, sadly LEGO MINDSTORMS motors are not powerful enough however 24 of them will move someone. First working demo of it, 24 NXT motors, 8 NXT's pure overkill
