  1. Not a reason to do it again. VKTechnic, if you decide to finish the project and want to continue in this topic, please let me know.
  2. Guys, it is time. Bring your Bots to the Entry Topic. Make sure to read rules and requirements in the Entry topic! You still have enough time for building!
  3. For the turning problem, beside what agrof said, it might be that bot is heavy, and it have so much rubber so it is having hard time skid-steering. Try to remove 4 outside tires so it has a total of 4 tires, or better yet...remove all tires and leave just the rims. That way it should skid steer pretty well. But, if it works really good without the skirts, then it is grinding them with tires.
  4. This looks like one of the toughest bots so far.
  5. No, we are not the same guy. Although, it seems we are both awesome.
  6. There are people on YT using XL motors to power Large Pneumatic Pump(s). So just for the show, here are two videos of that: And: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEz8JNT0ugU This is one XL powering one Large pneumatic pump: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKxkjBwsTec I guess with proper gearing, you can make this also with 12V motor and 1 pump.
  7. Very satisfying video to watch. Great performance! Somehow I really miss a thin flex axle or something across that space where doors should be! Same as Tomek, I would also like to hear how well custom joint works? I guess if thin gears in the diff withstand, then U-Joints are safe. So a better question may be: How strong they are compared to Lego U-Joints?
  8. Oh yeah! You bet! I get now approx 75% more than I used to get! Thanks! Ok, we need a total of three to make it official and legal!
  9. So he also told you that on April 1st? All in favor say aye! Nah, I will do that anyway. I can even change his name now...how about AnnoyingJ ? Hi! Welcome to EB! Please note that asking for preliminary pictures is frowned upon. Also, this is a mature forum, so please try to use proper grammar and check our Guidelin....oh wait!
  10. Ohh, you shouldn't told just yet!
  11. Thanks guys! Ok, lets start! What? No proper punctuation? 2x What? No capital letters?! Just kidding guys ! Thanks for the ! I will give my best to support and contribute Jim's and Blakbird's work in making this forum work smooth, look nice and be easy to navigate, it wont be very hard, since they make awesome job! I really think that whoever post or just read on this forum would want that. So, I hope you understand why I would have to sometimes remind about such seemingly not-very-important matters like capitalization, punctuation and spelling (besides, of course, more important stuff). It helps all of us to have a great and clean place to see or show new models, learn new techniques or just enjoy spending some time reading and commenting with nice people we have here! Well, I am sure (and hope) that applies just when he is online
  12. This is really cool model! Very nicely done and it resembles the real deal in every aspect!
  13. @nickbrick Welcome to EB. Please don't bump older topics, unless you have something important to add to the conversation.
  14. Hi Aminnich, I can't take a very good look from photos, you need to measure it manually from two most distant points. Keep this in mind - Max 45L wide, deep and high or...max 45 in any direction. From the photo, it looks like you have taken some tiny advantage from diagonal line, ultimately leading to a bit bigger bot than 45L Take a look at this pic for Erik Leppen: This is not allowed. It may be bigger for just like half a stud, but we should keep all entries under or 45L.
  15. Great, just make sure the blade is max 45 and you are ready to go!
  16. Yes, 45x45x45 size limit is only in Idle mode. So, in the picture bellow, is it "idle" mode? If it is idle, max size is 45 in any direction.
  17. Hi, sorry for bringing this again... @Jim asked you multiple times not to bump older topics, if you don't have to add something important, and to try to use proper punctuation etc. So, once again, lets try to keep the forum readable and running smooth.
  18. @Chap811 Welcome to Eurobricks. Please make sure to read our guidelines. You will find there that posting in old topics is not very welcomed, unless your post add something important to the discussion.
  19. Nice progress here! Unfortunately, the bot has to be max 45L wide, deep and high. So no using diagonal measurements. This was covered in Contest discussion topic on page two.
  20. Great effort for filming location! And of course, awesome Bot!
