Only the Modular Houses, Star Wars sets (not many now) and my own MOCs are displayed in their full made-up form. The others are scavenged for parts for use later. even my Indiana Jones sets have suffered as a result.

Dear EBers, I will be going to the UK in May. During the trip, I will make a trip to Legoland Windsor. As I have never been there before, I would like some advice on: 1) will half-a-day visit be enough? i will be taking in the sights there. but no rides (if any), games, etc. 2) any other things i should look out for/buy/do. Thanks in advance!

Great sports shop MOC!! i like it that you seem to have a sports theme i.e. winter sports/water sports. if u are to enlarge ur sports theme, 1 floor may not be enough. not to mention apparels.

that is 1 big car! I am planning to make something like this too. i like the spaciousness of it and the 2 "kettle spouts" in front! -
Terror Of The Witchfinder General!

the tudor houses you have done up are just amazing! i did not read your story because i was busy admiring the houses!! -
JimB, do re-consider before moving away from Lego. can always keep them for memories. though if u are giving away, i could use some sets from the City Police. I would gladly pay for postage and handling to Singapore. then again, re-consider.

very colourful moc! compact and nice! From the way, u have done up the pavement where there is a red-flower plant, i can see u are ready for future expansion to ur Mediterranean town!

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
streifen replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
not sure if it has been mentioned before, i would like: 1) Rebel Commandos (for Endor) 2) Gamorrean Guards 3) Tusken Raiders 4) Ewoks i will be happy with those. lastly, sorry if this has been brought up. -
Like what LightningTiger has mentioned, what a way to wake up from the dark ages!! ur inside of the castle has so many details!! i especially like the spiral stairs!!
-
the houses are great! i like the colours!! so country-like! is there any interior details to the houses?
-
let 1 more person convince you. i think the MMV is a marvellous set as has been mentioned above. the scenarios you want to create is endless. you can use it as an original set. or moc it. or even get extra sets for a powerful moc!

that tall tree outside is so lifelike. you could have out beside a branch/twig/picture of tree and people would have been hard to notice the difference. and yeah...the house looks scary..
-
i love the windows!! iirc, all the windows are not using the normal windows that we have... agree on the many techniques used in the door frames, windows, etc...

He comes in peace (& ready for war). maracas in hand and weapons holstered on horseback. great Mexican street!

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
streifen replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Mutley, are your soldiers going for war soon? show it to us! will be 1 hell of a battle scene!! -
i do not know why u are apologising for the quality of ur pics. the colour fits ur moc perfectly. the slightly-grainy pic of yours is like the TV of the past when all images on tv seems to have "flies" flying about or "ants" crawling. somehow u have managed to capture that!

Thoughts on selling large lot of parts
streifen replied to lcs's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
you have PM! -
the cliffs at the sides look "lots of bricks"! can feel the "confrontational" factor looking at your MOC!

Thanks for the comments! LT & Fuzzylegobricks, initially i wanted to have it as a house for 2 persons. but decided to make it a family home and have it on a 32x32 baseplate would have depleted my white bricks (not that i have many to start with) and my $$. Cheers!
-
so huge! the details are great. however i think if the inside (i.e. the courtyard) is "base-plated", it will be TOP-grade!

after some time, finally managed to get some time to complete my Modular Tudor House MOC. 3 storey high. complete with planter boxes and flowers, some shields for decor. 1st storey: kitchen & living room (the family eats at the coffee table) 2nd storey: study/family room complete with bookshelf, decors, paintings, clock, skateboard. 3rd storey: 2 bedrooms w/ toilet. one of the kids sleep on the floor in the bedroom. wardrobe is outside the room due to limited space in bedrooms That's all folks! C&Cs welcome.

My thought: the pet shop will be 1 floor only. the above is for other uses. because having 3 floors of pet shop means the animal count may be quite high as we cannot have a dog on 1st flr, a cat on 2nd flr and a snake on 3rd floor.
-
the well & the flooring outside the house looks great!!
-
if the new mod house is as what you mentioned (1 single storey and 1 three-storey), i would think the single storey should be the pet shop and the 3 storey being the "painting in progress" house as i do not think they will give us a 3-storey house. then again we are all speculating at the moment. waiting for the pics!!
