  1. the MOC display stand is as as the moc SW vehicles!! so when u "on" the motor, the display will self-rotate?
  2. agree that the custom astromechs look good! crowded alleys of Tatooine! and some shady characters in the mix too..
  3. wow!! you are the 1st person i heard/read who buys a house to keep ur lego! i would have thought the extreme solution will be selling off the lesser favourites of ur collection.
  4. Nice busy street! I like the way u incorporated the Medieval Mkt Village on the pizzeria! the walls of the Church looks good too!
  5. So boisterous!! haha!! is the cave a 2-level cave? because i can't see the dining area in the 1st pic.
  6. i would like any of the weird characters from the mos eisley cantina. the release of those minifigs with the usual characters + a lot of tan bricks/parts = a full-blown mos eisley scene
  7. i was referng to those boxes which either come in a plastic container or normal boxes (with display of a mess of brcks outside) on the other hand, modular and creators are good.
  8. avoid getting those boxsets of bricks unless you need 2xX bricks. they can be "hard" to use most times. Advice: Bricklink is addictive!
  9. if it has not been mentioned, i would like an: Ewok Village! if it is not released, may have to MOC 1 myself...
  10. Just bought the Ewok Attack 7956 last night! i love Logray!
  11. Nice MOC! the cave is awesome with so much life inside! the sword through the skeleton is clever!
  12. i thought you got a great bargain there! i bought the same colour bricks from Bricklink few months ago. great builds you did with your mega-purchase!
  13. it is so huge that it looks like a desert monster! the interior is !! u need a few more jawas to man this ship if not the others will be overworked.
  14. HUge MOC! I like the recreation room and shower! the details are real good there!
  15. till now I have not finished my Black Ops. the start-up and freezing made me frustrated. like u, i agree that COD4 & MW2 were great! i juz hope they don't complicate the running of MW3.
  16. Over at Cardiff, the LEGO store has a good selection of BAM to choose from. mermaid torsos, robin hood headgear, MMV skirts, etc. the one in London is more limited and consist of the more common ones. i still managed to pick what i want though the combinations were quite horrible (e.g. girl's face w/ robin hood cap & MMV skirt...lol) as mentioned previously, GBP3.50 for 3. in Cardiff, they came w/ the blister pack.
  17. Hi, I am looking for: 1) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2431pb128 2) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4162pb27 i need at least 3 of each of the above. I can trade Collectibles Minifigures or parts for them. BTW I am in Singapore. Thanks! streifen
  18. i like that soldier in the sleeveless top! now you just need to do a M113 APC to complete the looks.
  19. Further to my earlier posts, i have returned from UK. Great fruitful trip! For Lego Windsor: 1) Getting there: if you are not driving, there is a bus service (702) from Fountain Square (Victoria station). takes 1-1.5hr to reach as it stops along the way to pick people. Cost of Bus: GBP14 round trip. alternatively, take a train (check the website for details) 2) as i did not pre-book the tickets, it costs GBP41.40 on the day. 3) the rides are fun. going on a weekday will help as there will not be long queues. 4) the shops there are ok. nothing extraordinary except you can get LEGO apparel and accessories there which may not be available in shops elsewhere. End of the day, i spent the whole day there instead of my targetted half-day. TOTAL cost w/o meals and PAB: GBP55.40 per person. Great much fun! lastly, sincere apologies if this has been written/mentioned elsewhere before.
  20. did my 1st PAB at Cardiff and 2nd PAB at London recently. the parts they have are at these 2 stores are different. i asked the London staff and they told me these are the parts they have. for parts of smaller quantities, they have it in the sealed bags of miscellaneous. bbut must say that PAB is addictive. did 4 PABs in the 2 weeks i was in UK.
  21. yes. the voodoo is available from hmv. saw the promo at manchester and london hmv. other games stores should be having similar promos
  22. i really like the Grenadier Guard! can do Buckingham Palace MOC?
  23. +1 to Inconspicuous!! We had a great trade! Cheers!
  24. i thought the station looks great! reminds me of my travels in UK in those rural stations.
