The Death Star shrub is ingenious! somehow i see the fountain as something out of Star Wars too. am i seeing things?

Great Diorama! crowded street and nice buildings! by the way i can see that the street is brick-built. err...are the buildings connected? if so, how? i am just curious with the interesting technique that i think you guys are using.

@dragunov: which technic parts have you got that you do not want? let me know. Thanks! i find wings hard to use. can't seem to find a place for them unless u do airplane mocs. the other part is 2xX bricks. good only for fillers under plates. other than that, not really versatile as it "eats away" your baseplate area.

revenge of the kid-turned-adult! just like when i was still a kid, lego was expensive compared to other stuff so i had minimal lego stuff. after starting work, i was like a madman unleashed.

Nice lighting! i can imagine the planning process to get the wiring and lighting done up during the building process!

since we are on sub-topic of family and lego, for me: i will involve my wife in the lego process at times. so far the Modular Houses have been ok. MOCs in similar theme is also ok. but for Bricklink orders, i will say they were traded instead of bought because BL orders can come up to a subtantial cost for parts and for non-lego enthusiasts, quite hard to fathom the thought of spending $$$ on non-box items. but i got to admit when the family is involved it is much more fun in the buying, building and moc process (she is my part-time advisor).

OMG! The Tatooine is huge! Looking at Luke's home, u can see the thickness (i.e. number) of bricks used to create the diferent levels! The walls of the Death Star is just as amazing!

LEGO is meant to be opened, assembled and played with. keeping them MISB defeats the purpose unless you are thinking of re-selling in future. in this case, you may need a lot of space to store them and sell in future. on the other hand, i would think it would be better if one starts a collection out of passion instead of thinking of future re-sale value. because some items (though Lego SW is less likely) may depreciate in future due to lack of widespread interest and/or cheaper alternatives/focus.

yes. imho, i would prefer UCS to be of Star Wars vehicles/ships rather than figures.

as much as i hope your wish can be fulfilled, i doubt this will be produced as it will start leading to UCS of many other droids/characters/creatures, etc...

i don't know much about photography but thought that your photo looks life-like as in it was straight from the movie set.

as mentioned by Future74 (a few posts above you), the number of minifigs released in a Jabba Palace set could easily rival that of the Death Star. Only better with all the quirky weirdos. i am also looking forward to that day!
