i do not know Dieter personally nor have i had any "conversation" here with him...but... it is still sad when someone in the community leaves us. R.I.P Dieter. My thoughts are with his family.

Awesome stadium! it has the works - VIP lounge, Stadium shop... where are the screaming coaches on the sideline?

armchair_superhero, take ur time on filling the interiors. most important is u must have fun w/ ur lego.

you have a point there. looking at the dogs, cats, birds in Lego. hardly much space for more than juz a few of them in a single floor. squeeze more in and the SPCA will come knocking...

i like my MOC modulars to have the full works i.e. back wall, full furnishings, details (if need be and feeling rich - read further on "rich"). in the past when i got the earlier building sets, my main gripe was the opening at the back and lack of interior details. with the CC-MS-GG out, my wish was granted. however to really do up a "complete" modular (or not) building, i need to get many parts, accessories from elsewhere, most likely Bricklink. that can be pretty expensive. to date in the past few months, i have spent nearly GBP400 on parts alone. and only 1 MOC is completed. the others are still WIP. Conclusion: give me a "complete" building with interior done-up anytime and i go weak in the knees.

omg...that is a lot of moc mods u have there. nice lampposts for the Hotel! i have some way to catch up on u...

Haha!! the bank robber is a Great idea!! by the way since u have the technic bricks on the sides to connect to other mod bldgs, the glass panels on the sides can be replaced with bricks since you wont see them when they are connected. save the glass panels/windows for other MOCs.

instead of having a single "business" (e.g. pet shop, post office or etc..), i do hope that the new Modular will comprise of different business on each floor. e.g. Post office - 1st floor Florist - 2nd floor something else - third floor

my favourite is the 588 as put up by "TheBrickster". Due to sentimental reasons. this was the 1st big LEGO set me & my brother got when we were 6-7yrs old. till now i still remember the motorbike which had to be assembled brick by brick. and also the hair of the plainclothes policeman which looked like a small piece of chocolate!

[quote name='Sir von Lego' date='28 November 2010 - 01:58 AM' timestamp='1290877086' But yes, every "normal" boxed set, I collect twice, sometimes more if they do have different box designs. Example: 4504 Millenium Faclon: there is one blue and one original trilogy edition box, so I collect three of this set: 1x blue MISB, 1x original trilogy edition, 1x to build it. wow!! u have a real completist mindset!! even going for box variations!! that must be some heavy spending involved!! your collection is really

My 1st MOC on Eurobricks or anywhere. A simple bike shop. if you see any colours that do not match the surrounding tiles/bricks, it is because i have run out of similar colours. no elaborate details due to lack of parts at this moment. Apologies. Front photo with shop crew: 1st floor (counter area with trophies won and bike shorts on sale): 1st floor (bike jerseys on sale): 2nd floor (bike service area & bike display area): 2nd floor (helmets on sale. Ride Safe!): 3rd floor (OFFICE with door-less toilet): C&Cs welcome.

i don't remember seeing a lego dog w/ leash. it's just a dog with a metal chain attached to the stud on it.

GREAT MOC there!! was just thinking. if you want to add a cooking area for the chef, extend the back portion coz i see you have some unused space at the back. forget about the dustbin. that area can be used for cooking. Roof'ed over..of course.
