  1. So, to summarize : - 44 new parts and not the most expected ones - no new feature - no hi res 275 Mb
  2. French S@H says the same since 8:00 PM. Not sure I will wait until 0:00 for a D-one shopping. Looks like we will have to wait for some more days to put our hands on this set Neuro
  3. I was hoping that the latest OS X update (10.11.1) would have fixed the problem but it did not
  4. Yes, especially when El Capitan is introducing new APIs implementations with the "Metal" GPU driver.... LDD is definitely out of date. Neuro PS : sorry for my french accent
  5. Just got an answer from Lego on that issue : I am sorry to hear you are having issues with LEGO® Digital Designer since your latest MAC OS update. Our engineers are working on the case and will try to bring the software back to normal as soon as possible. In the meantime, please follow the below steps as a temporary fix: Firstly, make sure you have admin rights to your PC right-click on the "LEGO Digital Designer" icon choose "Show Package Contents" The Finder will then open a window with the "Contents" folder double click on "Info.plist". delete these lines: <key>LSMinimumSystemVersion</key> <string>10.4.11</string> Please let us know if you are still encountering difficulties after this workaround. This workaround is not working for me but one could be more "lucky". Please share Neuro
  6. Facing the same issue with "El Capitan" + random crashes on exit. Just sent an e-mail to Lego and took the opportunity to ask for next update ... who knows ? Neuro
  7. Hi, thank you very much for sharing all that work with us ! I have posted a note about your MOC on a french site, here with 2 modifications to integrate the standard PFS receivers in good conditions. Any worries, please let me know, I will edit. Thanks again, Neuro
  8. 8:38 september 5th french time. No hope.
  9. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happens to all applications that have not been designed for the retina screens. So until LDD is compliant with these resolutions, no miracle will happen. And honestly I'm not expecting Lego to update their software in that direction. Back to the original issue (LDD crashing while saving files), this has disappeared since I have updated Yosemite to release 10.10.2 (14C109) Neuro
  10. Same issue for me but random. Could happen with any type of parts, any number of parts, any file name ... I cannot find any consistency in this behavior but for sure it never happen before Yosemite. has anybody reported this error to Lego ? Thanks Neuro
  11. Hey ! it sounds like nobody noticed the new HTML building guide with an accurate parts list at the end
  12. Great, Great Work ! Thanks a lot for having shared Neuro
  13. Up ... to see if anyone has a trick to retract LAs Thanks in advance. Neuro
  14. Any idea of when we can expect an upgrade for the parts library ? Thanks, Neuro
  15. Hi guys, it does not seem that this one has been reported already : On this new part, the axle hole is not deep enough and will not allow the axle pin to fit entirely (see the small gap). I hope that this will be fixed asap because I have been expecting this part for a while. Neuro
  16. Sounds clear : LDD will not be launched these days. Early next year ? Neuro
  17. No need to make a comment : great idea and great moc ! As always, a wonderful MOC ! Congratulations ! neuro
  18. Part 1: - Part name: Compact PF receiver - Part description: This PF receiver is just a brick (could be 4x2x6 + IR dome) but would not have a 'L' shape. In addition, more technic connections (holes instead of studs). - Part usage: the L shape makes difficult the integration into small (compact) mocs. - Should look like : Part 2: - Part name : 2 upsidedown studs. - Part description : This part is made of only 2 studs in opposition - Part usage : This is THE missing part (and I'm suprised is has not been mentioned yet) that would allow to have 2 bricks connected upside down - Should look like : Guys, as my english is very poor , please feel free to make this post more readable. Thanks Neuro
  19. Thanks a lot for the pics. This set looks good and I'm now waiting for some more detailed pictures. Pretty quite sure it will be mine. Neuro
  20. Please TLC, Please ! Make it available in France ! I'll get 3 of this set : 1 for me and 1 for my son. These 2 ones will be built ... and the extra 1 will remain in its scealed box for the future generations Neuro
  21. Well, I'm happy to help. To be honnest I'm using quite a lot the templates since they are available. Before, I was using file/insert but it is not so convenient. As a matter of example, I have built a number of gears combinations (2 by 2) in various situations and this helps a lot. Meshing gears has always been painful with LDD cause they must be rotated manually. Neuro Again, sorry for my tremendous french accent.
  22. - That would be nice if LDD could remember that the right pane and the camera controls are hidden for me (Ctrl+1 and Ctrl +4) - Grouping items is also painful currently. A real grouping feature would be welcome (group / ungroup / add to group) - Building guide is poor (to me, previous versions were giving better results). Rendering should give bigger images with a part list. Thanks Lego to listen to us ! Neuro
  23. About making standard colors available in LU mode, I have used the following : In Creator mode, I have created a stack of 2x4 bricks of all colors available in the standard Lego palette (including lime). This stack has been added to the template thumb and I have switched to LU mode before saving the file. Now, each time I'm using the LU mode, the stack of bricks is available in the templates and I just have to use the new 'pick a color' tool. I hope this is clear enough despite my poor english Thanks again for having shared with us. Neuro
