  1. I want Green Lantern! He's interesting, popular, and TLG could go nuts with the space designs!
  2. That's one of the first brickfilms I've seen in a while that I ACTUALLY LIKED. When's the next one coming out?
  3. I don't know if that'll happen. The Agents seem pretty comfortable in their jumpsuits.
  4. Lordy, I didn't realize Johnny Horton was so well-known. Ah, well, we can agree on one thing here: He was a damn fine talent who was taken from us way too early. "Sink The Bismark" is one of my favourite songs and I don't care who knows it.
  5. Another interesting fact is that (as his name may suggest) Gold Tooth has... gold teeth! I think these are more than just gold fillings, so that would present a problem. Whenever he eats, it measure on the Richter scale!
  6. Well, I was dissatisfied with the interior of the volcano's center section, so I put together a little pile of computers complete with buttons, levers, and even a flat-screen HD CCTV. Try something like that.
  7. James Bond is a bit too adult for Lego's tastes, so I think that would be out of the question. But Get Smart, that would probably be more their style. Of course it'd be difficult to license a TV series that's been off the air for almost 40 years. Ah, well. We (meaning I) can hope! Activate the Cone of Silence! *hums Get Smart theme*
  8. I wouldn't even look at any nationalistic themes if they ever came to pass. Unless they depicted Canadian scenes like... I don't know... the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, or the American attack on Quebec. (I only list these as options because we won in both instances. Forgive me for being historically accurate.) For the most part, I'm not sure nationalistic sets would be a good idea, because they'd make residents of other countries think that TLC was playing favourites. (Yes, favourites with a "u"!)
  9. Man, I can almost hear the pirate barker... *puts on a Bugs Bunny/pirate/carnival barker voice* "Arrr! Hurrrry hurrrry hurrrry! Test your luck at Whac-a-Pirate! Only two shillings for two minutes of un-be-liev-able pirate hitting action! Orrr test yer luck at the Whac-a-Pirate home game! Only two guineas! Hurrrry hurrrry hurrrry!"
  10. Ha ha! This reminds me of an old song by Johnny Horton. "We fired and fire till the barrel melted down, so we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round. We filled his head with cannonballs and powdered his behind, and when we touched the powder off the gator lost his mind!" (That was "The Battle of New Orleans", by the way.)
  11. "This is a day you will always remember as the day you almost... *wave hits him* ... Captain Jack Sparrow." That still brings a smile to my face. I can't believe no one thought of this before! Good job!
  12. Well, to be frank, if he is still alive, he doesn't necessarily have to be on the side of good anymore, if you get my meaning. Heh heh heh... (That could be interesting. )
  13. Old style skellie for the win! Too bad the games aren't as yet available in North America.
  14. Moment please. Over the past little while, I've noticed something strange. In the new comics, you say that everybody from the old team died, but as far as I can tell, Apathy Boy never left HQ. He was still under the influence of the virtual reality thingie. If the bomb only destroyed the warehouse where the others were trapped, then A.B. could have survived. I say this because Hanz seems to have the uncanny ability to teleport himself. Was not A.B. able to teleport people? As Harry Hoo from Get Smart would say, this present two (well, five) possibilities... A) Apathy Boy was killed by one smoker and fifty non-smokers B) I have too much time on my hands; C) This is a major plot hole that was somehow overlooked; D) A.B. lives on and is up to something; or E) It's just a huge coincidence. It is wisely written, Mr. Smart, that life is like box of chocolates. You never know what you going to get. Amazing. (Also, if anyone can point out all the Get Smart/Harry Hoo references, please speak up.)
  15. "Let's watch that again... IN SLOW MOTION! Malifios (Sp?) cracked me up!
  16. Heh heh. I enjoyed that. The Russians were an interesting lot with interesting ideals. (I say "were" because I refer to the Cold War-era Russians. Hm. Perhaps I should say "Soviets". ) Anyway, a really neat little idea. Look forward to seeing more! "I must break you!"
  17. If they're just battling pirates, then I would say no. But it would probably be a different story if they're going way out to sea.
  18. It doesn't show up in the photos, but there's some really neat slime printing on S.F.'s face, particularly one bit by his right eye. It's a streak of slime that goes from the eye to the right cheek. I swear it's a slimy scar! It's some very nice detailing.
  19. Actually, they're not so new. They first appeared in '08 in in 8630: Gold Hunt.
  20. Ah, yes. "You should always choose the lesser of two weevils. *laughs*" That would be an interesting set, but I think it's unlikely. The essence of drama is conflict, you see.
  21. That's not a half bad idea. Some nice, little battle packs along the lines of the Castle thingies. Of course we'd probably be limited to Red Coats and Pirates, but it's a good idea just so long as they don't include Brickbeard, who is quickly becoming just as common as both captains before him.
  22. I suppose all the parts just washed up on shore during the night and it was a mere matter of finding the instructions, eh?
  23. Jeez. What a way to go... Oh, well. He should be proud of what he accomplished in his life. That hut on his little sandbar was quite nice. Maybe that's where he got the wood for his funeral pyre? :pir-skull:
  24. Very nice. Reminds me of that scene in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl in which Jack sails past the four hanged men and salutes them.
  25. I don't think the new IJ sets are due until August, so don't get your hopes up, people. In the words of the immortal Harry Hoo: "This not case of murder, Mr. Smart. This case of robbery!" (Heh heh heh. '60s TV references...)
