Oh, man. Please do. My closest TRU is all the way in Coquitlam while I'm in North Vancouver. I say you should go back and lay into them. You say hang 'em, I say how high. Oh, and charge 'em for the rope.

Agents and James Bond similarities
Capt. Redblade replied to samthelegoman1's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Alright, alright. But only because you asked so nicely. First of all, Claw-dette is kind of similar to the Baroness, Chase et al mirror Duke et al, and the Inferno henchmen with their matching jumpsuits are kind of like the matching Cobra Troopers. -
Very nice! Now the Agents can have a mech of their own to combat Inferno's robot!

Adventurer Monsters

I actually only got three Orient Expedition sets (Tygurah, Yeti, Jun-Chi), but out of those, my personal is the Yeti. Too bad I gave it away some years ago. -

Absolutely marvelous! I especially like the fire wheel trap. -
Agents and James Bond similarities

Funny. I would've thought Chase to bee 007, and Fuse seems more like Q. (To me he seems like the brainy gadget type.) Also, I think you missed a couple: Saw Fist-Tee Hee Johnson Trace-Every Bond Girl to date ( But especially Anya Amasova from The Spy Who Loved Me) Claw-dette-The villainous femme fatale a la Elektra King, May Day, Miranda Frost, etc. There are also elements of G.I. Joe, but I won't go into that. -

Very nice. If remade and modified in a different colour, it could easily be a suburban family sedan. -
Agents Theme Survey
Capt. Redblade replied to Darth_Legois's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I am absolutely mad on the Agents theme. I have all the '08 sets except for Deep Sea Quest (but it's currently on order) and am currently scouting my local mall for the '09 stuff. Favourite Agent: Chase (However I noticed that Trace had the most votes. I wonder why... ) Favourite Villain: Spy-Clops Favourite Agents' Vehicle: Turbo Car (duh) Favourite Villains' Vehicle: Spy-Clops' Helicopter (And even though they're not vehicles, I also like Break Jaw's buoy and sharks from Speedboat Rescue.) Yes, I love Agents. This survey is great, but I think it should be updated to include '09 stuff. -
Arrrr. I be a pirate!

MOC: Agents Seabase of Dr. Inferno
Capt. Redblade replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Amazing! It's better than the Volcano Base, and I freaking love the Volcano Base! But this... WOW! But in the case of some of the Doc's henchmen, the eye/fingerprint scanner might just be adding insult to injury. (i.e. Spy Clops, Saw Fist, Claw-dette, Gold Tooth, Dollar Bill, Magma Commander) Other than that, beautiful. -
What figure represents the castle line?

You're all wrong. It's the Gold Knight from this year's Drawbridge Defense set. -
Any Idea When the Next Pirate Sets will be announced?

Oh, well. Don't worry, claduis. We Canadians got our vengeance, after all. -
I stay away from Ebay as much as possible, so none of that has ever happened to me. But cocaine, that's just AWFUL!

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings Sets?
Capt. Redblade replied to RoflWafls's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, if they can find a market for SW sets that are based off the new game and TV series, I say why the heck not? -
Which company makes better pirate-themed sets?
Capt. Redblade replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Pirates
Having had experiences with Megabloks, and Playmobil (and obviously Lego ), my vote is... stuck between the two. I remember having a large Playmobil collection, including a nice soldier building and a ship, and my Megabloks Pyrates collection had a large raft with a shark and three ships.(One of those being manned by a literal skeleton crew.) Sadly, I got rid of all of that before good ol' Lego Pirates was rereleased, so I can't have an ultimate battle for supremacy and control over my shelves. -
I noticed in the photo gallery they mislabeled Agent Fuse as "Space Cadet". I just LOVE Fox's attention to detail, don't you? But, then again, it's Fox. Who the heck's ever going to see it aside from us?

Ghosts in the Game Room (Pepper's Ghost)

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I wonder what could have happened to make this place so haunted? Something unpleasant and gruesome, I'm hoping! *laughs evilly like Alan Rickman and Vincent Price put together* -
Review: 7092 Skeletons' Prison Carriage
Capt. Redblade replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This was my first set from the new line, so I'm rather partial to it. I'm glad to see it get such high praise. It's quite the lovely little Halloween-y set. I wonder if TheBrickster could modify this for his WW Grave Stone MOCs? (Hint, hint, hintedy, hint, hint. ) -
I remember playing with toys of a similar brand-that-shall-not-be-named when I was young. It had opposing human factions and I got a kick out of that. But, then again, I do enjoy fantasy novels in the vein of Eragon and Inkheart, so I'm not sure where I stand. I'm happy with the current line, (VERY happy, in fact) but I would still like to see more realistic toys like that brand-that-shall-not-be-named.

Acch! This be a richt prood day fer m'sel' i' it pools throo, bein' ha' Scottish as oi am! (Translation: If they do make Braveheart-esque Celts, it will make me proud, as I'm half Scottish.)

Well, if I have my info right, Playmobil currently has a Roman theme and it's been a success thus far. So, with that said, I'd like to a Roman warship with some enemies of some sort.

Sweet! I don't know what to say. The Space Cruiser looks beautiful ; the Skull Twins' car, I can't find the words .
